The ensure_signed function of pallets/template/lib.rs contains a parameter named origin of type OrginFor<>. I have been looking inside various projects and all I see is doing ensure_signed(origin)?.
My question is how actually should I get something like public key or wallet address from that origin value. I believe something must be inside Signed(AccountId) variant. But in test files of several examples and tutorials all i see is they simply pass Origin::Signed(1). What am I supposed to do with that 1?
I am pretty starting out in these blockchain things so any kind of knowledge is highly appreciated

I am using the latest versions on 2sxc (11.05) and the Content App on DNN 9.06. The Content-Type for Locations does not have a field for Region (or State). Is there already something in place to account for that to get Canadian or US addresses to output normally? I realize I can add the field and then maybe use the Dropdown from Query to hook it up to DNN's list of Regions, and then modify the Views accordingly...
But that seems like a lot of work for something that might already be built in (and I just don't see it?). Or is there another easy way to tackle this?
Truth be told - we never needed that so far, so it doesn't exist.
Is this necessary for maps to work, or just another field which a standard us-address needs? I'm curious because neither outlook nor SharePoint seem to require such a field, so I never really thought about it.
BUT: if you do implement it, please do share it back with us, so we can publish it.
Note that if this is important, a possibly nicer solution would be to use a public api somewhere which provides this information, as it's most certainly more complete & up to date for this purpose. If this is the case, ping me and I'll implement a string-dropdown-from-json or something like that :)
i use the API to read my projects and tasks with C#. This works like a charm.
I read my tasks with the following endpoints.
https://quire.io/api/task/list/{project.oid}
and
https://quire.io/api/task/list/{task.oid}
However, the tasks have no references to the assigned tags. In the JSON-response the tags-property is always an empty array. But most of my tasks have at least one tag assigned.
Is this a known bug or did i miss something in the documentation?
Thanks for your Help.
I verified the api endpoints you describe. And in my case they result in the expected tags being listed per task. On both root tasks for a {project.oid} and subtasks for another {task.oid}.
Here a screenshot of what I get from command line (formatted the output using jq)
compared to the view inside quire:
So the answers to your questions...
No it's not a known bug on our side, and it doesn't look you missed anything based on your description. Maybe the URLs and results from my screenshots give you something to compare with.
If the problem persists on your side you can also contact support#quire.io with additional information you can't share in public.
I'm just trying to find a way to access the name property of an Area element inside Revit Python Shell, tried looking on Jeremy Tammik's amazingly informative blog, tried AUGI, Revit API docs, been looking for 2 days now...
Tried accessing via a bunch of ways, FilteredElementsCollector(doc).OfCategory(BuiltInCategory.OST_Areas), tried by Area class, tried through AreaTag, every single time I get an error under every circumstance and it's driving me nuts, it seems like such a simple issue that I can't seem to grasp!
EDIT: Also tried by element id, through tags, through area schemes, nada, no go...
Can anyone please tell me how to access this property via RPS?
I would say two things:
areaObject.LookupParameter("Name")
areaObject.GetParameters("Name")
...are valid methods. Please notice how I used GetParameters() NOT GetParameter(). There are some drawbacks to using either one of the two. The lookup method will return FIRST parameter that matches the name which in many cases might be a different parameter for different elements. It's not very reliable.
GetParameters() method will return them all if there are multiple so then you have to deal with a List<Parameter> rather than a single object that you can extract your value from.
I would personally recommend to use areaObject.get_Parameter(BuiltInParameter.ROOM_NAME) method to extract a Name value from Area object. The BuiltInParameter always points at the same parameter, and will reliably return just that one parameter. Here's a little more details about these methods:

To answer my own question, I actually never thought of looking through the code of other Revit Python scripts... in this case of PyRevit, which is in my opinion far more eloquently written than RPS, raelly looking forward for their console work to be done!
Basically, I had mistakenly used GetParameter('parameter') instead of LookupParameter('parameter').
As I said, it was something stupidly simple that I just didn't understand.
If anyone has sufficient knowledge to coherently clarify this, please do answer!
Many thanks!
Maybe your issue is the same as this one ? :
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/RevitPythonShell/name|sort:relevance/revitpythonshell/uaxB1FLXG80/sdJNrTfoPuUJ
Your_Area.Name # throws error
Element.Name.GetValue(Your_Area) # works great
I've searched a lot for the answer to this question - but can't find one - possibly it is just too stupid, in which case please forgive me!
I want to add og metadata to our pages, but the information for each logical object (in our case a sports team or player) can be spread across multiple actual URLs (eg /team/, /team/players/, /team/results/ are all logically part of /team/).
Can I put the same opengraph metadata on multiple pages that represent the same object?
Or alternatively, can I specify the og:url as a regex, eg: /team/* ?
Or does /team/ imply /team/* for an og:url ?
Thanks very much for any clarification, Mike
the information for each logical object (in our case a sports team or player) can be spread across multiple actual URLs (eg /team/, /team/players/, /team/results/ are all logically part of /team/).
Do you mean all of these URLs contain the same information (they are just different points of access to that info) – or do you mean the info is spread in „bits and pieces” over these URLs (and a user would have to visit them all to get all the info)?
I’m not sure I understand your question/problem here – but maybe you’re just looking for what’s called a canonical URL …?
You could call in every subpage the Open Graph API passing the parent page as object; no need to put metadata also on subpages, if you are not interested in having subpages as separate objects. This way, a like clicked on an individual page is always given to the team. You might use a custom property to specify from where the click arrived (or even the ref property, maybe).
On a side note, I would not tell that results are logically part_of the team. Although for this specific usage, it does not matter.
Is it possible to modify the order of the intellisense options shown when I hit ctrl-space?
Specifically, I'd like to order them in scope, so that if I have a variable in my function that matches what I've typed so far then it goes to the top of the list. If there's a member in the class, that's next, etc. I'm just kind of sick of having to type enough that I don't match some random global symbol in Windows' crypto libraries or whatever.
Is this kind of this possible? Where do I start? I looked for an obvious option in vs2010, but didn't find anything.
My programming language is native c++.
Here's what I've found so far.
A walkthrough showing how to add items to the intellisense popup: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee372314.aspx
The walkthrough uses the ICompletionSession interface:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.visualstudio.language.intellisense.icompletionsession.aspx
It looks as if you might be able to clear the CompletionSets, and replace them with your own completion sets, but I'm not sure if there's any way to change the order, or if they are always sorted. There is the IIntellisensePresenter interface, but it looks like it's pretty much empty.
Also, from the walkthrough, it looks like you can fill the CompletionSets with a dumb list of strings, so you'd need some other way of interrogating the symbols to determine scope, which may not always be possible.
In short: Probably not possible at the moment.
