JavaFX TableCell vs Swing TableCellRenderer instances - javafx-2

This is my issue, I have a table that has 50 columns and 10000 rows and all the data are strings. In Swing when I have one TableCellRenderer that renders the strings for the whole table.
In JavaFx to render the same table I have 50000 TableCell objects created.
Did I missing something here? This will never have any performance, to allocate 50K of object is not acceptable.
Is there a way in JavaFx to use just one TableCell to render all my cells and have a similar behavior to Swing?

From the Javadoc for the Cell class:
Because TreeView, ListView, TableView and other such controls can potentially be used for displaying incredibly large amounts of data, it is not feasible to create an actual Cell for every single item in the control. We represent extremely large data sets using only very few Cells. Each Cell is "recycled", or reused. This is what we mean when we say that these controls are virtualized.
Basically, a TableView will only create as many cell instances as it needs to render the content visible on screen. If you scroll the table, cells get recycled. Basically, this should give you the same performance as with Swing, trading a small memory overhead for an easier programming model.

Why react-virtualized Multigrid renders the whole component but not one cell that was changed?

I have a Multigrid component with 12 columns and 300 rows. When the value of one cell changed the whole component is rendered. I can see it in the profiler and visually component is scrolled to the top. Is this intended behavior and this component or maybe whole library is not suit for lists that will updates frequentelly?
P.S. every cell has unique key based on remote data. In pure react table the problem I've described is not exist.

Scrolling Not Working with Long Content in Tabulator

I have noticed that when I have cells with a lot of text, the table will not scroll vertically. As I scroll down, the table jumps back to the top. The behavior is a function of the amount of content and the width of the column. A wider column can handle more content before this behavior is seen.
I thought this was due to my own custom formatter, but it also happens for the textarea and html formatters.
This can happen if the row content is significantly longer than the height of the table.
In this case you can improve the scroll stability by increasing the size of the virtual dom render buffer on the table. this is the amount of space that the table renders above and below the table to allow smooth scrolling.
It is be default set to 2 times the height of the table. You should make sure it is at least 5 times the height of your tallest row.
This can be done using the virtualDomBuffer option in the table constructor:

Though from a user experience perspective i would query whether a table is the best way to layout data if it takes up a large vertical space. It would probably be clearer to display summary information in rows, and then use either a rowFormatter to toggle a details section under the row, or a modal to show more detail

Row selection in react-virtualized

The documentation in react-virtualized is not clear on how row selection is handled. I need to:
track selected row
highlight selected row
query which row is selected (I care for getting to its data)
It appears that there is a way to handle row click events and change style class on per row basis. I assume I have to roll my own selection tracking based on these parameters. I hope I am wrong and there is a better way.

The concept of a selected row or per-row styling is not specific to windowing. It's part of application code and should be tracked there- using React's built-in setState probably.
react-virtualized doesn't have anything built-in for this because it's orthogonal to the purpose of the library and I wouldn't want to add bloat (in terms of byte size or maintenance efforts) for features that aren't core to windowing.
I've created examples of doing similar types of things online that you might find useful to look at. For example this slide (source code here) shows click-to-select styling.
I have used React-Virtualized Table in my app, and there are library provided functions for row style and row data.

Implementing cell reuse for varying height cells in UITableView (iOS8+)

I have a custom cell layout, inheriting from MvxTableViewCell. One of the cell's contained views is a UILabel that supports text wrapping. The wrapping will mean the cells can be of different heights as that is driven by how much text is in each data item. The custom table cell is defined without any Storyboard or NIB. It is laid out in code and uses AutoLayout.
I am finding that the cells are being reused and the heights are staying the same as they were when they were previously used.
When the data source is updated and new items are in the table the previously taller cells are reused for cells that don't need that extra height. Do I need to create a custom MvxTableViewSource that has specific reuse logic? How would I even ensure that extra height rows were not reused?
I am hoping this is not a Monotouch and MVVMCross specific issue but just in case, this is how I am using the UITableView

The Table Cells display correctly on first use of the View but subsequent uses cause issues as does scrolling.
For example here is a screen shot of mixed height working followed by the same list after the taller row has been scrolled off the screen then back on. The red boxes show how box the cell should be (FWIW this is test data not real people's data)
Another example, here the table is again displayed correctly then loaded again with the same data yet the second load has the cell height incorrect
I broke my two issues into two questions however there is a solution for both this one and the other issue with this SO answer, UILabel not wrapping in UITableView until device rotate (iOS8)

How to create dynamic size columns in C# .net 4.0 using TableLayout in WinForms

I want two rows and first row has two columns. But I do not found any property by which I can set size of column. I place toolbar in first row and first column. I want to hide it progemmatically. So, how to design UI by using TableLayout?
Use the ColumnStyles property:
tableLayoutPanel1.ColumnStyles[0].Width = 0;
Not so sure that makes sense, every control in the colum will get hidden and the other columns will grow proportionally. Hiding a control is otherwise simple, just set its Visible property to false.
