We are using Sitecore Azure module version 3.0.0. We have noticed that it's very slow and stops (hangs) working when deploying db and source files to azure.
Has anyone experienced that and is there any workaround?
We are using Sitecore Azure module version 3.0.0. but with Sitecore 7.
Deployment from my PC takes about an hour. On my internet connection uploading takes the most time.
Currently we're looking for a workaround. If we find I will update this answer.
I have experienced the same problem. It is almost certainly either: a network/connectivity issue OR, the database connection is timing out. I have blogged about troubleshooting both here: http://reservoirdevs.wordpress.com/2013/10/18/sitecore-azure-walkthrough-and-gotchas/

My team is currently working on a new Blazor app and we are facing some strange behavior. We deploy our APP using Azure Dev Ops, but it seems that sometimes things go wrong. If we deploy the same version with the the same pipeline, the issue could be solved...
This is the error we (sometimes) get in every browser chrome, firefox, edge, ...:
admin:1 Failed to find a valid digest in the 'integrity' attribute for resource 'https://domain/_framework/dotnet.timezones.blat' with computed SHA-256 integrity '47DEQpj8HBSa+/TImW+5JCeuQeRkm5NMpJWZG3hSuFU='. The resource has been blocked.
This seems to be happening completely random. We have tried everything... like disabling compression, checking IIS settings, clearing cache, ... We also read the complete Microsoft Documentation. Some other guys also had this problem and they have a solution by clearing the obj/ folder. But we never have this issue locally... So this isn't a solution for us.
Does anybody have any idea what could be the problem? Because it seems completely random to us so far.
The app is ASP.NET core hosted and not stand-alone.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
Kind regards,
Evert
I just ran into the exact same problem. My VS solution compiled and ran under VS 2022 no problem. But when I published to my dev or prod web server I got the same message that you encountered. I solved it by clearing the bin, obj, and .config folders in all my projects in the solution. You mentioned that you don't have the problem locally -- neither did I and this still resolved the issue when I deployed. I suspect an older version of a file is getting into the deployment pipeline somewhere. Mine is also a hosted solution under .NET 6.0.2.
I am new to Google cloud platform, Recently I deployed a Nodejs-MongoDB application on Google cloud platform. I followed this article for that until this time everything worked perfectly fine.
Now I am trying to update the code using same steps, but changes are not reflecting. Before posting this question I checked for a solution over different forums and SO., but I couldn't find anything.
Also, how can I download my source code to verify the deployed version's source code? I tried to find appcfg.py file but it does not exist on my machine.
If I have asked something invalid, I apologize in advance.
Thanks.
I've been browsing the web for a couple hours now looking for an answer to my problem. I am trying to deploy a Web API on Azure Web App Service using VS2017. Everything builds and works fine when running locally but once deployed on Azure (through VS2017) I get this error:
D:\home\site\wwwroot\bin\roslyn\csc.exe
My project is an ASP.NET Web Application (Using Azure Web API template) .NET Framework 4.6.1. I use Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform Version=1.0.6.0
I also made sure that csc.exe is located in:
Visual Studio 2017\Projects\DeviceManagementAPI\DeviceManagementAPI\bin\roslyn
Just had the same problem and it seems it's a known issue with Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform 1.0.6 and 1.0.7.
Downgrading to 1.0.5 solves the problem.
Upgrading Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform to 1.08 worked for me
After a while I simply uploaded manually the roslyn file directly into the server through Kudu. It seems to solve the problem but I still don't know why it won't upload automatically.
Same issue might be caused by missing or incorrect relative packages path. If you're changing solution folder structure make sure all imports have proper path's to avoid missing Roslyn files.
Generally suggest to replace auto-generated ../../../packages/... rabit hole with parameter which will point to correct Nuget folder.
<Import Project="$(NugetPackagesPath)\packages\Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform.1.0.8\build\net45\Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform.props" Condition="Exists('$(NugetPackagesPath)\packages\Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform.1.0.8\build\net45\Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform.props')" />
So, I realise there are a lot of threads with this topic already but I have went through every single one of them (Majority of them are the exact same) and nothing seems to work.
**As a note, I am using a trial version of Dreamweaver cc 2015, and I am using WAMPSever.
So, I have a testing server working. The problem I am having is creating a MySQL connection from Dreamweaver to phpmyadmin. The error that persists is the:
HTTP ERROR CODE 404 File not found. Here are some possible reasons for the problem:
1) There is no testing server running on the server machine.
2) The testing server specified for this site does not map to the. Verify that the URL in the prefix maps to the root of the site.
I have moved the MMHTTPDB.php and mysql.php into the right folder. I have also selected the server model to be PHPMYSQL.
This is my site:

I am fairly new to using Dreamweaver but I have not been more frustrated with anything in my entire life.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I was in a similar situation a week ago and spent sleepless nights trying to find a solution. Like you, I have never been frustrated as I was by this. Finally, I had to downgrade my XAMPP version because I learnt that if you're using the deprecated server behaviors in Dreamweaver, they won't work with the latest version of XAMPP.
I downloaded an older version and I am okay now.
Is it possible to deploy custom DataCacheStoreProviders on Azure? I'm currently trying to deploy and test one locally, but I'm not sure how to go about this because the documentation doesn't cover my scenario. Any help would be appreciated.
No it not possible.
You can find all supported features here : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/gg278350.aspx
I think your question is specific to cloud Service, isn't it?
I don't have exact experience on how to get all of that working however during one similar discussion the outcome was that you can use DataCacheStoreProviders with Azure if after building and register DataCacheStoreProviders in your machine, you can access them using Windows Azure Cache modules i.e. using DataCacheFactory.GetCache(String cacheName) and process cache items. IF you try and met any problem in any step I can find some ways to help you after you post your issue.
