I'm currently the only IT staff in an educational institution and the devices they have are in Windows 10, while some of the teaching staff have Windows 11 as their OS and I'm currently setting up a network printer but the Windows 11 user are experiencing Network Credentials when the Windows 10 PC has turned of their password protected sharing and other devices with Windows 10 or Lower can access the printer host PC without any problem but the Windows 11 users cannot print via network due to the stated problem above.
Any idea on how to fix this?
Printer host PC (WORK NETWORK)
Password protected sharing : OFF
Network discovery: ON

I am trying to install FortiClient 7.0 in my virtual machine. So, I have:
VMware Workstation Player 16.2.5 - as Virtual Machine
Database App Development VM - as Virtual Machine Image
In the terminal, I'm writing the command which is for FortiClient installation on linux and it asks me for a password. I have no clue what the password is since during any of the installations I have not set one.
Is there any default password which I should know or is there any workaround to avoid the password providing?
Thanks in advance.
The answer is oracle
As I got it is a default password which comes from Database App Development VM

We are in the process of migrating to Windows 10. We encountered an issue with the USB Barcode Scanner on
a Windows 10 system. The scanner is not working until we unplug and plug it again. Later we found that the registry EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled is set to 1 for the HID device and setting it to 0 helps us to avoid reconnecting the Barcode Scanner every time after a system reboot. Is there a way to default EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled to 0 first time when the Barcode Scanner is connected?
Thanks in advance.
Many registry entries are set by other registry entries at boot. Maybe your power plan is overwriting the registry key , you have to disable the USB settings in power plan.

I recently upgraded to a 64bit Windows 10 based PC. I installed my older VMWare Workstation 11.1.2 on it and created a Ubuntu Linux 64bit 16.4 LTS. It appeared that the VM creation went through successfully. However, when I attempt to start the VM, I receive an error as below:
On inspecting the Task Manager, I observe that the VMWare Workstation is started as a 32bit process and could be the reason for this. Does this mean I can't run 64 bit guest OS on this PC?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
It says right there in the error message what the problem is, Intel VT-x is disabled. Have you checked your bios settings?

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1) Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2) Choose your language settings, and then click 'Next."
3) Click "Repair your computer."
If you do not have this disc, contact admin... bla bla bal.
File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe
Status: 0xc000035a
Info: Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode.
I get this error when i try to install Windows server 2008 x64 via VirtualBox.
I have All Virtual settings enabled in BIOS and my CPU is an Cor i5 vPro, the host system is Windows 7 x64.
Youtube Screen casting of the error
I had the same issue and found a solution.
Open up bios and make sure vt-x is enabled
If it wasnt, you'll need to delete the VM in virtual box and make a new one.. Now you will see an option for windows 7 and windows 7 (64bit).
It was only AFTER i delete and rebuilt the VM did it allow me through. Changing the settings in the existing VM didnt seem to do the trick.

Remote desktop is stuck on "securing remote connection". I am connecting to Windows 2008 VM on Azure from Windows 7. I have successfully connected for a few days before now. I have waited for over 15 minutes. I don't have local access to the server.
Please verify that your Windows Azure VM is in Running state from Portal first and then try to RDP. Based on your error and experience, it is possible that your VM is not running or have some issue. Try restarting the VM from Management Preview Portal or using PowerShell and then try RDP and it should work.
