When trying to import a CSV into Shopware 6 using the import/export function under Settings, the import does not work and gets stuck. But when I change the image URLs to their actual final URL, the import works fine and loads the images into the data.
(Changing all the URLs to their final URL is too time-consuming since there are over 20,000)
How to enable the follow redirects feature for when Shopware 6 downloads the images?
The context option follow_location and max_redirects are explicitly set to 0 when fetching a resource from a URL for a media file. I don't know the reasoning why redirects were explicitly disallowed in the FileFetcher but for such a minor change it might be ok to just patch the class to change the context options to 1 and something greater than 0 respectively.
Update: I looked into it and it seems that the reason for the limitation are security concerns:
It's possible to circumvent the url validator by simply redirecting to the attackers url.

we have a custom module on our DNN site that creates unique URLs for each entry from an underlying database. The URLs would look something like this:
something/afn/something_else
A snippet from a full URL:
tabid/66/afn/160529-David%20Lewis-000258-010-003-00001
Without a trailing /Default.aspx. The module would see the /afn/, process the something_else, and if valid, render the unique page accordingly.
We just upgraded to DNN 8.0.3, and this is no longer working, instead we are getting 404 errors from IIS. We discovered if we append /Default.aspx to the URL, it works as it's supposed to. Changing the module to put /Default.aspx when the page is generated is simple. However that leaves countless links on our page, and on the web, that no longer work.
After much research I found the Friendly URL Settings in DNN under Host -> Host Settings -> Advanced Settings. This appears to have a way to remap URLs. The trouble I'm having is formatting the remap correctly.
My question:
What can I enter in the Friendly URL Settings so that if a user clicks on a url formatted like this:
ourwebsite.org/something/afn/something_else
it changes it to:
ourwebsite.org/something/afn/something_else/Default.aspx

WIth current DNN this should not be the case as the Default.aspx at the end isn't needed. In your upgrade, depending on the prior version, you will want to validate the "Url Settings" for the portal to ensure that for some reason that you don't have extensions turned on. Otherwise, when you upgraded did you see any errors? What version did you upgrade from.
Based on the standard setup of DNN URL's, this should work as desired assuming that /something/afn is the URL to a particular page. Or that something is the page and afn is the querystring.
Example /something?afn=something_else
Whereby you are expecting to see a Request.QueryString["afn"] value for the something_else value.
I'm having a problem with a clients magento site that has https enabled on the secure pages,
The website it built heavily around static block content and on the https pages images are pulled from static blocks (over 400 of them) using the media insert in the static block {{media url="media/bla/bla/bob.png"}} these images are comign through as http://site.com/media/bla/bla/bob.png
its not realistic, and it wouldn't make any sense to go through and change all these links to direct links.
Any ideas?

You are suppose to use the {{store url=""}} or the {{secure_base_url}}media/ in ur blocks
if ur not certain that ur page will be on HTTPS or HTTP the use first one if you know for sure that the request will be HTTPs use second one. (NOTE. Second is a system config path not the actual value that u'll put in the CMS block).

Whereas media files are not subject to a fallback, and with the awareness that if the directory level for Magento changes w/r/t the webroot (e.g. http://site.com/ vs. http://site.com/magento/) you can lead with the double-slash network location:
<img src="//media/bla/bob.png" />
Therefore, a search and replace against using the current data in cms_block.content is indicated.
I'll reiterate that this is not appropriate for skin assets due to the fallback.
Im configuring a desktop and mobile version of my site and was looking to use js to test for browser dimensions and then load the relevant version, however the problem is if someone shares a link from the mobile version and sends it to a desktop user then they circumvented the check. Is there a way to configure .htaccess (or some other method) to have the address bar show 'mysite.com' even though i would be loading 'mysite.com/mobile.htm'? I know i can always use media queries but that has the downfall of loading unused assets, so this method would be alot better.
Use a rewrite instead of a redirect. With a redirect, the browser is instructed to go to another address. With a URL rewrite, the server just responds with the contents of a different URL.
For just this page it will be simple, but it could be complicated, based on your site.
Another way is to include a little JS in every page to make sure you are on the right one for the device and redirect to the other if not. It would help if there was some pattern to easily determine the corresponding page.
I am stuck at the situation where I want the url, which contains a folder having some files (html, swf etc.), to be accessible after I validate the user.
For example.
The url to access is:
A - http://mysite.com/files/version/1/file.swf
And this above url is accessible from the link,
B - http://mysite.com/view/1
I have implemented a way to hide the URL A from a normal user but if the user somehow is a semi-techie person then he can know the swf file location from firebug or other tools. So, to make the access-to-file secure what should I do?
If a user somehow knows the first url(A) and then enters it in browser, i have to check if the user is logged-in and if validation is done it lets the url A to be loaded.
Since, in CI, the controller names cannot be named same as the folders in the root directory, in this case i cannot have a controller called “files”. So, the only option left to make this secure access to url work is to use htaccess rule/cond. If this is the only option, then how can it be achieved by htaccess and if not, then what other options do i have.
Will the codeigniter's URI Routes work because when i tried like this:
$route[‘files/version/1/(:any)’] = “view/$1”;
and it doesnt work, maybe because there is no controller/function/param as files/versions/1 ...

There isn't a sure-fire way to do it without, for example, using .htpasswd.
One thing you could implement is sort of "Security by Obscurity". In that case you could redirect all requests to a file to the URL http://mysite.com/view/file-id and then instead of loading the requested file directly, you would load a .php template with the appropriate headers - be it an image, a flash file or anything else.
But it really depends on how the files are going to be managed, since every file will need an entry in the database and you would have to output different headers for different types of files. And if someone still manages to guess the path to the file, it will be directly accessible.

You can accomplish this using routes. For example, in your /config/routes.php file, put this:
$route['samplecompany'] = "company/profile/samplecompany";
$route['samplecompany/(:any)'] = "company/profiles/samplecompany/$1";
The first rule tells CodeIgniter that when someone accesses http://mainwebsite.com/samplecompany that it should process it as if the URL were "company/profile/samplecompany". The second rule captures anything that comes in the URI string after "samplecompany" and appends it onto the end.
However, if you have multiple companies(not just samplecompany), you're probably going to want to extend CI's router to suppor this unless you want to manually edit the config file each time a new company is added.
OK, you're definitely going to want to handle dynamic company names(as per your comment). This is a little trickier. I can't give you the full code, but I can point you in the right direction.
You'll want to extend CI's router and on an incoming request query the DB for the list of company names. If the URI segment matches a company name, you'll want to serve it up using your company/profile method. If it does not, you will ignore it and let CI handle it normally.
