I'm not expert with cmake building and today I faced with following:
When I build project locally (using Windows and mingw) everything builds fine. But under git lab CICD environment (debian) I got the next error:
... no template named 'vector' in namespace 'std'
is included in this file but not directly - myfile.cpp includes myfile.h and myfile.h includes
Why this happens? How can I reproduce this behavior locally (some cmake options or something like this)?
Thank you!
Update: This is an example issue making code. I don't want to build this under mingw, instead of this I want to get similar error as under CI/CD environment (... no template named 'vector' in namespace 'std')
---my.h---
#include <vector>
---my.cpp---
#include "my.h"
std::vector<int> int_vector;

I've created a managed C++ log parser application using C++ vectors and Winforms. I want to add multithreading and Boost seemed like a better option than Winforms BackgroundWorker because I want to be able to execute my existing C++ function with each thread. I installed Boost multiple times following multiple different tutorials (lastly this one: https://levelup.gitconnected.com/the-definite-guide-on-compiling-and-linking-boost-c-libraries-for-visual-studio-projects-c79464d7282d) and I still have the same issue when I try to #include <boost/thread.hpp>
Error LNK1104 cannot open file 'libboost_thread-vc143-mt-x64-1_78.lib'
I don't know why it's looking for this library when I have Boost 1_79 installed not 1_78. My .lib file also has "mt-gd-x64" not just "mt-x64". I've already specified the correct file path to the library in Project->Properties->Linker->General->Additional Library Directories. I've also tried installing Boost via Visual Studio 2022 NuGet Package Manager. The lib file in that folder is also slightly off. "vc120" instead of "vc143". I've even tried changing the .lib file name to match the file name in the linker error exactly but when I do that I get more errors like LNK1104 cannot open file 'libboost_chrono-vc143-mt-x64-1_78.lib'
Do I just need to delete all my Boost files and download version 1_78 and try again? Why is Visual Studio looking for the wrong file name when it compiles? Is my #include statement wrong?
I ended up solving this problem by downloading boost 1_78, building it, and specifying that folder instead or the 1_79 folder. If anyone might know why the program was looking for 1_78 instead of 1_79 feel free to respond Also big thanks to George Gkasdrogkas who wrote the tutorial that worked best for me on how to install Boost. Tutorial is linked in the question :)

I have a project with multiple files which all depend on each other which worked fine. I added another file and added the use crate::asteroid::Asteroid syntax to another file.
When I compile it says
unresolved import "crate::asteroid"
This worked with all the other files. What is wrong?
Project layout:
/src/
asteroid.rs
command.rs
direction.rs
game.rs
main.rs
point.rs
ship.rs
The use keyword will import only the path specified, so when you use crate::asteroid::Asteroid only the Asteroid object will be imported, but not crate::asteroid. In order to import both, you can use:
use crate::asteroid::{ self, Asteroid };
Here self is referring to crate::asteroid. You will then be able to access both asteroid and Asteroid

Attribute Error: module 'Orange.widgets.gui' has no attribute 'WebviewWidget'
Part of the source code importing WebviewWidget
When I tried importing the module Orange.widgets.utils.webview and when I look for WebviewWidget attribute...there is none...only a description about it. Here is the text in the description of the module:
DESCRIPTION
This module holds our customized WebView that integrates HTML, CSS & JS
into Qt. WebviewWidget provides a somewhat uniform interface (_WebViewBase) around either WebEngineView (extends QWebEngineView) or
WebKitView (extends QWebView), as available.
Problem solved!!! The problem was QtWebKit was not installed in my system...installed it and it worked fine...I also included the pyqt5 and debug package...
I'm having problems in a project that runs on the v3.9.0.0 version of servicestack.
So I'm trying to download source for it. But on github there are no tags so it seems I cant get hold of the source. So... I downloaded the latest stack and the source for that.
Obviously I'm getting some deprecated warnings but except for that the compiler seems happy enough except for in one place
public virtual void Configure(IAppHost appHost, Container container)
{
appHost.HtmlProviders.Add(new HtmlProvider().ProcessRequest);
The compiler complains that IAppHost does not have a property HtmlProviders
Like so:
ServiceStack.WebHost.Endpoints.IAppHost does not contain a definition for HtmlProviders and no extension method 'HtmlProviders' accepting a first argument of type ServiceStack.WebHost.Endpoints.IAppHost could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
I can't find anyone mentioning this missing so I'm guessing I'm missing something but what.
So at the end I guess the questions are:
Does anyone know how to get the source for the v3.9.0.0 version of servicestack?
Does anyone know what to do to migrate from v3.9.0.0 to current 3.x version considering the above HtmlProviders problem?
(I edited this post as I misread the version number at first)
Checking history for IAppHost your probably looking for roughly v3.94, about 10 months ago. How to upgrade to latest version? I'd suggest migrating a single service to the new API and going from there.
I am facing a situation of which I have no idea. I am tried to test one method that I have implemented in C++ and I used swig to generate the wrapper. After compilation, when I tried to run the application, I got an error java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError.
It further states that
cannot load library:reloc_library[1311]:33
cannot locate '_Z13recognizeFacePKcS0_'
...
and suddenly throw exception.
I tried using adb shell to debug and found library in the right location (data/data/com/mesh/faceAuth/lib/libfaceAuth.so) but it gives the same error. I also read from this site, that it has to do with wrong STL implementation which I don't have any clue of. I will highly appreciate your candid suggestion.
Regards,
Mohammed.
Best guess with what information you have provided, The library you are trying to load needs some dependencies to be loaded before it.
For example:
System.loadLibrary("bullet");
System.loadLibrary("irrlicht");
System.loadLibrary("gamescript");
gamescript library needs other 2 library to be loaded before it. Otherwise, it gives me the same error you have mentioned. I can dig further on this issue if you can post some part of your .mk file for building the library here.
Your error has nothing to do with STL.
You probably reference a global function ::recognizeFace(char const*, char const*) in your code. Maybe, you have another function defined, for example recognizeFace(char*, char*).
