I am new to working with tauri, and when I run cargo create-tauri-app it runs the 'setup' and askes for app name, package manager (cargo) and UI template. After choosing the final option, it says permission denied. I tried running the command with sudo but then it says no such subcommand: 'create-tauri-app'.

I have a google cloud run flask application named "HelloWorld1" already up and running however i need to create a second flask application. I followed the below steps as per documentation:
1- On "Cloud Shell Editor" clicked "<>Cloud Code" --> "New Application" --> "Cloud Run Application Basic Cloud Run Application .."-->"Python (Flask): Cloud Run", provide and new folder and application is created.
2- When i try to run it using "Run on Cloud Run Emulator" i get the following error:
Starting to run the app using configuration 'Cloud Run: Run/Debug Locally' from .vscode/launch.json...

Cleaning up...
Finished clean up.
I tried following:
1- tried to create different type of application e.g django instead of flask however always getting the same error
2- tried to give full path of [requirements.txt] in docker settings, no luck.
Please if someone help me understanding why i am not able to run a second cloud run Flask app due to this error?
It's likely that your Dockerfile references the 'requirements.txt' file, but that file is not in your local directory. So, it gives the error that it's missing:
listing files: file pattern [requirements.txt] must match at least one file
I'm trying to start a headless chrome with a puppeteer in Azure Functions on Linux.
What do I do? I have a “Function App” that looks this way:
And I have a function:
I build this function remotely this way:
func azure functionapp publish {appname} --build remote
And this is what I get when I try to run a function:
Result: Failure
Exception: Failed to launch the browser process!
/home/site/wwwroot/node_modules/puppeteer/.local-chromium/linux-1011831/chrome-linux/chrome: error while loading shared libraries: libgobject-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I've seen this topic already (Puppeteer throws launch exception when deployed on azure functions node on Linux) but they recommend do a remote build, which I do and it still doesn't help.
Maybe I'm using wrong App Service Plan, but I checked and there were nothing related to special linux setup there.
The reason was that I was indeed using the wrong App Service Plan. I needed a “Function App” one. When I recreated a function with the right service plan, everything worked just fine.
I was able to deploy the azure function without the use of func azure functionapp publish {appname} --build remote. I did it using the visual studio code.
But before that I installed the puppeteer inside the function folder using
npm install puppeteer
Then I added the node_modules name in the .funcignore file.
Then I added the following setting in setting.json in the .vscode folder
"azureFunctions.scmDoBuildDuringDeployment": true
Then deploy the function normally through vscode
This is the error I get.
This project was scheduled for deletion, but failed with the following
message: ContainerRegistry::Path::InvalidRegistryPathError
If this is a self-hosted instance, a GitLab administrator can delete this project from the rails console.
To start the rails console, from the command line on the gitlab instance:
gitlab-rails c
Then use the console to delete the project.
user = User.find_by_username('root')
project = Project.find_by_full_path('mygroup/myproject')
::Projects::DestroyService.new(project, user, {}).execute
Alternatively, you may be able to fix the error that prevents the deletion. Change the namespace for the project to a valid name like 'deleteme123' then try deleting it again.
I am trying to install dynamically windows services from my electron app.
For that i am using the node module "node-windows".
This looks like this:
service = new Service({
name: 'Watcher',
description: 'Watcher',
script: 'Watcher.js',
env: {
name: "SettingsPath",
value: storage.getDataPath()
}
});
service.on('install',function(){
service.start();
});
service.install();
this works very well on my dev machine.
The app requests for permission to create the service and installs it smoothly.
My Problem
If i compile the app to an exe the app doesnt request me for permissions and print an error
Permission Denied. Requires administrative privileges.
The app creates the service exe successfully at that time and doesnt do anything more.
Ok, so i started the app with admin privileges for testing this behavior.
Nice, the app doesnt show any error, creates the service exe AND ahhhhhh installed the service NOT.
Questions
Why does the app no longer ask for permissions when it is compiled?
Why isn't the service installed when the app is compiled?
If you need any additional information, write me a comment. And thanks for your time.
the path to the elevate.cmd in node-windows is incorrect for electron apps.
i have documented the way of trouble here
found some more problems to use the node-windows package:
cant use scripts from electron asar file (exclude files or diable
asar)
the executable path from the generated service config is wrong (its the packaged app executable, but must be node.exe or an equivalent executable)
service will only run on target system if node.js is installed, or you provide an equivalent
I'm just getting started with Yii2 and I am following a tutorial here about setting up Yii2/AdminLTE and I am unable to finish the setup as I am getting errors in Terminal on the last step.
The part I am not able to finish is:
finaly we create rbac dbmanager with simple code, you can see in
folder "console/RbacController" with specific level for :
Admin : can do everything Editor : can edit, add and view Author : can
add and view viewer ; just viewer create rbac :
"yii migrate --migrationPath=#yii/rbac/migrations"
"yii rbac/init"
dont forget to chmod -R 777 on your web/assets if linux environment
and please free to update your setting on menu setting.
So in terminal on my mac, I tried both:
yii migrate --migrationPath=#yii/rbac/migrations
with the error: -bash: yii: command not found
and
/.yii migrate --migrationPath=#yii/rbac/migrations
with error: -bash: /.yii: No such file or directory.
I was able to complete the beginning of the tutorial, it is just this last step. I am already working in my yii2-advanced-adminlte directory
UPDATED:
Added screenshot of terminal window
Normally the yii command is located in
fro advanced template in project directory parent of backend, frontend, console and not in console
be sure of find the right dir and then accessing this try launche your command
yii migrate --migrationPath=#yii/rbac/migrations
eventually adjust your path to rbac/ migrations
Found it out, the problem was using MAMP I had to manually set the php bin to 5.5.23 in terminal because once I started down the path scaisEdge showed me I was getting a No such File or Folder error.
Eventually this is the command that worked for me (check your php MAMP path):
/Applications/MAMP/bin/php/php5.5.23/bin/php yii migrate
