I would need to split the user registration into two screens as follows
Will capture the email, password and confirm password
User name and other details.
Here it allows creating the user where the password fields are being captures.
but I would need to create an account in Azure in the second step but getting 500 error.It is not even showing the Signup First screen.
I've already looked into this https://github.com/azure-ad-b2c/samples/tree/master/policies/split-email-verification-and-signup but didn't help.

Note: When I keeping the <ValidationTechnicalProfile ReferenceId="AAD-UserWriteUsingLogonEmail" />
under the LocalAccountSignUpWithLoginEmail technical profile, the account is created during the first step and then displaying the second screen.
Can someone help how do we split the registration screens?
I believe your issue arises due to how password claims are handled. Any claim with the password user input type can only be used in a self-asserted profile's validation profiles, as detailed here. You can't get the user's password in one step, then pass it on to the next, it has to be written somewhere (ideally to the user account) in a validation technical profile.
So, you'll have to do two writes, one with the email and password, then the second with other information. If you are worried about users exiting the signup process part way through, you may want to set a flag after the first write to mark that while the account exists, additional information will need to be added when they next login, and then have that flag be unset after the user fills out the additional information.
Your other option is to store the user's password elsewhere using a REST API validation technical profile, then retrieve and write that password to the user account in the next step, though I would not recommend this approach.
Edit, workarounds:
I wouldn't recommend doing this for security reasons, but a similar question here has answers that use workarounds to store the password in other claims to pass it on to the next step. However, this could lead to security issues with Application Insights logging the password.
If you really want to do a two-step sign up and only a single write, you could probably also just reverse the order. Get the user info claims, then the email and password.
Before giving the split description, please note that password claims are not allowed to pass to next step/ technical profile. If you do like that user will get created but password won't be written and sign in might be get blocked. So as per the above answer you have to copy the password and use it in the step2 (I haven't done that here.)
I'm not sure what exactly is the issue you are facing. But I did the signup split just like you mentioned in your requirement. I've used default custom policy starter pack. Please see my user journey and signup steps that I've used.

I have a custom policy that incorporates the Embedded Password Reset flow as outlined here: https://github.com/azure-ad-b2c/samples/tree/master/policies/embedded-password-reset.
Now, I need to split the signup and verification screens so I tried following the sample here: https://github.com/azure-ad-b2c/samples/tree/master/policies/split-email-verification-and-signup.
Once I have combined the two custom policies, the Signup and Signin flows work fine. However clicking on the Reset Password link gives me: "The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred."
Here are the combined policies:

I think I figured it out.
I had to add preconditions to Orchestration step 3
like:

</OrchestrationStep>
I'm trying to force password reset after the first logon (in Azure ADB2C) using the Custom Policies as explained in the "reset password" repo.
I'm using the custom policies, and a validation error accours while I'm trying to upload the "SignUpOrSignin.xml" custom policy. The message is:
A required Metadata item with key "ApplicationObjectId" was not found
in the TechnicalProfile with id
"AAD-UserRemoveMustResetPasswordUsingObjectId" in policy
"B2C_1A_signup_signin" of tenant "resetpasswordtest.onmicrosoft.com"
These are the steps I followed:
I downloaded the custom policies XMLs file from this GitHub example (as stated at the end of the readme.md file)
I "substituted" the "yourtenant.onmicrosoft.com" and "facebook client"
I "merged" the "SignUpOrSignin.xml" and "TrustFrameworkExtensions.xml" with the ones taken from the "reset password" repo.
I created the "mustResetPassword" extension attribute (using the Azure portal)
I created one user using the graph utilies (in that why I'm 100% sure that the user has been created in a safe way with the proper "mustResetPassword" extension attribute)
Finally I uploaded the following xmls into the portal (in order):
TrustFrameworkBase.xml
TrustFrameworkExtensions.xml
PasswordReset.xml
ProfileEdit.xml
SignUpOrSignin.xml
The problem occur when I try to upload the last one (SignUpOrSignin.xml)
What is wrong here? Here you can find the full implementation of the previous 5 xml files.
Please take a look to the following section where I pasted the "TrustFrameworkExtensions.xml" and "SignUpOrSignin.xml" custom policies.
Thanks for reading

You missed out configuring the policy for extension attribute support.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-b2c/user-flow-custom-attributes?pivots=b2c-custom-policy#azure-ad-b2c-extensions-app
This entire process can be automated with my tool: https://aka.ms/iefsetup before starting to use the samples.

This entire process can be automated with my tool: https://aka.ms/iefsetup before starting to use the samples.
I'm using custom policies in my B2C tenant and found out that the "Forgot password?" link redirects to an error page (AADB2C90118). After researching on the Internet I found a custom policy which allows me to embed the password reset inside the sign-up or sign-in policy.
This works like a charm, validating the email an changing the password as expected. The issue I have is that I want to redirect the user to the sign-in page after the reset password is completed successfully.
My goal would be to redirect the user to the sign in page so he/she is able to sing in whit the new credentials. Is there a way to reset the user journey or redirect the user to the sign in page using custom policies?
Here is the Step that check if the user has selected to change his/her password:
<OrchestrationStep Order="3" Type="ClaimsExchange">
<Preconditions>
<Precondition Type="ClaimsExist" ExecuteActionsIf="false">

</Preconditions>
<ClaimsExchanges>
<ClaimsExchange Id="NewCredentials" TechnicalProfileReferenceId="LocalAccountChangePasswordUsingObjectId" />
</ClaimsExchanges>
</OrchestrationStep>
And here is the TechnicalProfile to change the password:
<TechnicalProfile Id="LocalAccountChangePasswordUsingObjectId">

Without this, the sample will not setup the SM-AAD session, and subsequent policy calls or silent token calls will need a sign in anyway.
I am trying to add simple SignIn custom policy in Azure AD B2C. When I run the policy, I can see the default sign-in page, but when I enter user email and password, I get below message.
Your password is incorrect
I am entering the correct password, but still, I am facing the issue.
