Azure VM Connection Refused

I created a VM in Microsoft Azure with Ubuntu 20 in which I run a Tomcat Server exposed to Port 443 and 80 (redirecting to 443), Neo4j on Port 7474, and Jenkins on Port 8081.
I can't access neither of those ports, although I set all the Inbound Port Rules like this:
When I try to reach IP:PORT, I always get this:
I am kinda new to Azure. It is possible to log in to the servier via SSH in the Terminal. Can anyone help me? How can I access my Server?
Have you tried to access to the VMs by using SSH and looking whats going on with the logs ?!
Yes, you can connect to a terminal by SSH:
ssh -i <private key path> username#ipaddress
If you don't config your SSH key, you can use create you password on the Azure portal.
In your VM, on the left, you have many options, and one name reset password.

Can't connect to azure linux VM on port 9200, but ssh works

Installed ElasticSearch on a linux VM in Azure, put in on a Vnet with a public IP and a security group with ports 9200 and ssh 22 open.
I can ssh into the VM. On the VM itself, I can reach port 9200.
But on my PC, when I try to hit the {public IP}:9200, I get a 502 bad gateway? Anyone know why?
Ok, needed to set the following line in the /etc/elasticsearch/elasticsearch.yml file;
BEFORE
#
#network.host: 192.168.0.1
#
AFTER
#
network.host: [_local_, _site_]
#

Azure Cloud App ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I would like to deploy a container based app in azure container service, and followed this tutorial.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/container-service/dcos-swarm/container-service-mesos-marathon-ui
Everything went well except that the public url is showing
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT in browser.
When pinging the url, able to get the IP address but pings are showing as timed out.
I have verified agents LB with port 80 as allowed in the rules list.
How to access the application through public web ?
When pinging the url, able to get the IP address but pings are showing
as timed out.
Azure disable ICMP package, so you could not ping Azure public IP address. You could use telnet or tcping to check whether your service is listening.
Do you bind port 80 of the container to port 80 of the DC/OS agent? If I don't do this, I get same error log with you. Please refer to this link.
Note: I test in my lab, if I did not do this, nginx service will listen on other port. I ssh to the agent VM.
root#dcos-agent-public-65818314000001:~# docker ps
CONTAINER ID IMAGE COMMAND CREATED STATUS PORTS NAMES
7e8091548413 nginx "nginx -g 'daemon off" 14 minutes ago Up 14 minutes 0.0.0.0:4912->80/tcp mesos-d7be0314-6be2-467b-8376-433a05033b17-S1.42edeac0-2aa3-4ecd-acaa-17d5f2f4ac19
The service is listening on port 4912 not 80.
If you do this step, I suggest you also could ssh to agent VM(same user name and private key) and execute docker ps .

How do I install Gitlab on a VM?

I installed Gitlab on a VMWare VM, using NAT, where the VM is running Ubuntu 16.04. Everything installed OK, but I can't access it via the browser. It says I need to configure an external URL. I only need to access the VM from my Mac (where the VM is running). How do I configure a URL so I can access it from my Mac?
Thanks!
When the VM is running locally on the Mac in NAT network config, this means that the ports are available directly on the Mac IP. If you only need to access it from the Mac itself, you could access the application at the port via the loopback (local only) IP 127.0.0.1
If gitlab is running on port 80 in the VM, on the Mac you should be able to access with http://127.0.0.1
If this doesn't work, there are a few options:
Confirm no other service/webserver is running on port 80 locally on the Mac. If there is, you should change the port of the gitlab webserver in your VM, and access using http://127.0.0.1:port
Confirm that port 80 is allowed in the VM firewall, and that the webserver is running https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-and-configure-gitlab-on-ubuntu-16-04

How to access nginx server from host machine, installed on guest VM ?

Host Machine - Win 7
Guest - Fedora
I have installed nginx web server on guest fedora machine and I can access the webpage inside guest machine using the interface address. How can I access the web page from host machine's browser ?
I am using bridged connection.
Router is assigning 192.168.0.16 to the guest machine's interface. I tried same address in my host machine but it doesn't work.
Based on your description:
First you should check your web application's config. You don't mention which type of your web application running on your Apache server, some are launched with the specific ip argment 127.0.0.1( or localhost), so kind of these web application can only be visited on your localhost computer. You should change the ip argument to 0.0.0.0
Second if the "Fisrt" failed, check the connection of the two server(host and your guest) by using telnet.
On your Win7, you can use the command:
telnet ip port
for example:
telnet 192.168.0.16 80
80 is the default port of Apache Http(s) Server.
if the command don't show the "connection refused" error, your Apache server is goood, so it might be something wrong of your web application.
If that, show me your error msg then we go on further.
