A question about theming of Plank dock - How do I give margin to the bottom of the dock - linux

I have a question about Plank dock application.
As you know Plank supports theming via dock.theme and hover.theme files in .local/share/plank/themes folder. I am using all of its padding options like TopPadding, BottomPadding etc and they are working perfectly.
But how do I provide margin to Bottom? I don't want it to be stick to the Bottom and I want to move it to a little bit up so there will be space between bottom of the monitor and bottom of the Plank. Otherwise I can't provide full Round corners it looks just ugly.
Does anyone know how to move Plank on screen?

How to snap a window to top/bottom half of screen

One of my favorite features in Windows is the ability to snap windows. [1]
With Windows 10 they can now be snapped to quarter-screen, as well as the left- and right-half screen available in previous Windows releases.
Is it possible to snap a window to top and bottom half?
In other words, snap a window to span the width of the monitor, but only half the height? It could be snapped to either the top or bottom of the screen.

This is now natively supported in Windows 11. Press Windows+Z, then you can select where you want your window to be. There are several other portrait-only layouts too (the spot that is dark blue is the one my mouse is hovering over):
Not in the way that you snap windows to the left and right; if you try to snap a window to the top by dragging it to the top of your screen it will just maximize that window...and dragging to the bottom won't work at all.
One way that I can think of that will work is minimize 2 windows that you want to split and resize them both so that they span the width of the screen and approximately half the height of the screen. Then drag each window to the desired portion of the screen. To make things easier, you might want to have the window that you want on the bottom of the screen open over the one that you want on top of the screen before you start minimizing windows.

How to use/get Apple Watch Full Screen mode

I don't want to hide time, but want to use full screen
In the storyboard on the interface controller settings I set the checkbox "Full Screen" and "Fixed to screen edges" to ON.
In the storyboard I can see the full screen mode is working and the WKInterfaceGroup is scaled to the entire display.
But unfortunately on the watch device/simulator it does not work.
The group has alignment center/center OR center/top and width and height are set to "Relative to Container"
How can I really use the full screen mode?.
I just have to add a label equal to Time in top black space. I want to show some text here. I have seen this in some other apps, They are using this space. Even in Apple design guide lines docs, they use this space. I am adding these reference screenshots also.
In above pictures, you can see they used this top space for titles. I also want to add a label to show some text equal to time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is a really weird bug. After digging around I've found a way to fill the whole screen. It's not pretty but I'm consistently getting full screen if i'm adding a sprite kit scene into a "main group". Again; it's not an elegant fix but it works and isn't really that resource intensive. Hope this works for you too!

Android Studio: Part of Design View Hidden

This is a new one for me. In Design view I am unable to see the first 150 pixels of the design view window-- including the buttons/options to the left of the AppTheme button. I've tried the Pan and Zoom tool, which seems to do nothing. It shows the full view and blueprint view filling the Pan and Zoom tool interface. Any idea how to fix this:
"Window" -> "Restore Default Layout" worked for me.
I had the same problem.
Just drag the mouse where your projects are to the far left of the screen and slowly move with your mouse over to the right until you will see somewhere in the middle resize pointer- thats your design view border. Click it and move to the right and it should appear!
If you want i can try to make a gif how to do it if the above does not help.

How do I change the size of icons in Android Studio?

I'm building an app with Android Studio, and one of my activities (which lets the user draw on a canvas) has a 'toolbar', with things like 'Clear', 'Undo', 'Redo' etc.
I'm using the built-in icons for this - ie I go to the 'Drawables' folder, right-click, go to 'Add vector asset' and then select the appropriate icon. I've figured out that I can change the size of the icon that gets added, but I can't figure out how to use that.
So, on a phone screen, I'd like to use the standard 24dp icons. However, on a tablet screen, I'd like the icon to be bigger, as they're a bit lost on the bigger screen.
I can't figure out how to do this, though, and I'm not even sure whether I'm using the right approach. I know I can create different drawables sub-folders for different densities, but it's not so much the density that matters as the actual screen size.
What's the best way to go about this?
You should increase the toolbar height, the icon will fit its container automatically.
In case, if you want to change the size of the icon, double-click the xml file of the icon and change the width and height inside. Do not touch the viewportWidth and viewportHeight parameters!
In general, you should not do this, as it wouldn't follow the google guidelines.

How can I create scrolling areas like the ones on stackoverflow?

I'm currently working on a flash project, which will use multiple scroll areas.
I'm trying to find out how to create a scroll area like I see on stackoverflow, and make it function similarly.
Whenever someone posts their lines of code to stackoverflow, the scroll area scrollbar looks exactly like the scrollbar in the web browser, and is able to be scrolled with the mousewheel smoothly, without affecting the webpage scrolling.
Example: disable mouse wheel scrolling while cursor over flex app?
Could anyone please explain to me how I can do this in my flash project?

You wouldn't need flash to do this... This is accomplished using CSS. You would just need to put the portion you wanted to function like that in a div (or any HTML container for that matter) and then define such properties as min-height, max-height, min-width, max-width, overflow, etc. I think there's one that determines the presence of the scroll bars but I don't remember what it is for sure. Very easy to do this and flash would be a bit of overkill.
