I use pdf viewer instead of webview because pdf show all image or content offline but webview is not showing the images offline. One more Problem occur to creating a block for code between pdf.
If you have prepared your content in word/doc/pdf then the pdf viewer is best.
If you have prepared your content in HTML like web pages or website, it's best to go with the webview.
I need to control the embedded Google Docs viewer in my site. More specifically I need to be able to enable/disable the controls for Google Slides view and to be able to start/stop the presentation with JavaScript.
I was not able to find any JavaScript API for that, nor I have been able to add my host so my JavaScript to be able to communicate with the iframe content.
Anyone did something like this?
Google Docs doesn't work like that at all. Here are the steps you will need to take.
1: Create Presentation on Google Slides.
1a: https://docs.google.com/presentation/u/0/
2: Create any scripts you want applied in the script editor.
2a: https://developers.google.com/apps-script/guides/slides/
3: Publish Presentation.
3a: File>Publish to Web>Embed
4: Embed Presentation.
5: Create HTML Function call
6: Create Listener w/ Google Docs (Not on your site.)
If you want your site to be able to access and run scripts from google (Aka, disable controls.) Refer to this link below, it will show you how you can use HTML to request that a script is run from google docs. Keep in mind there is a limitation to daily function calls for free accounts w/ google. I believe it's 5500 calls per day max.

You also mentioned iFrame, you can find information about that located here.

I have an SVG generated on a webpage. Is it possible to add a link that someone could click on to open the svg in google drawing without having to download it? Ideally it would send the user here: https://docs.google.com/drawings
I have enabled Drive UI integration using https://developers.google.com/drive/v3/web/enable-sdk and I believe I have credentials. I'm not sure how to get a file on Google Drive though & provide a link to a user.
Is there a browser plugin or an extension that allows the user to view .doc files in browser?
I need to embed in my application, a document viewer. So far, I tried using services like google docs, but this solution doesn't work for our application, because of some security problems.
Do you know about the Office Web Apps? Microsoft developed something similar to Google Docs and you can use the Word Web Application to view Word files. It will pretty much display anything - a lot of editing functions from the offline version are not available though.
If you are just looking for a viewer search for "Word ActiveX Viewer" and you will find plenty (commercial) viewers.
To have IE open the .doc within the browser and not in a separate winword.exe, you need to define the association at client end.
As .doc file is an external resource to HTML, it would download the file into its temp, and then attempt to launch it. It would launch it using the default program that it is associated with.
To control this behavior, please have a look at:

I thought Internet Explorer + Microsoft Office used to do this by default?
I can for sure tell you that other than converting the doc to html you won't get a cross-browser, cross-platform solution.
Since you are saying it's for viewing only, that would seem like the way to go.
I am having this peculiar problem in hand. I have newly developed J2Me App Midlet, now I want to give this App to the user as a download from my website. I want to build the application programmatically as user clicks the link to download it, It is so because there is a set variable data, I want to hard code inside J2Me App, depending upon the user profile. I can not make sets of J2Me App ready to download as this would be too huge a task.
Can any one tell me how this can be achieved ?
The website is ASP based website.
Instead of hardcoding the data in the class file, why don't you use a jad file property and just generate the JAD File Property while the user download the application. Inside the MIDlet you can just refer to the property using MIDlet.getAppProperty() method to read that JAD property.
Hope this helps
