Change default value of Select & search prompt Cognos 11.6 - cognos

I am trying to configure the Search And Select Prompt in Cognos Analytics 11 to change the default option from Starts with any of these keywords to Contains any of these keywords.
I found on internet some answers but they are not working with newer version of Cognos 11.6.
Can someone help me with this one?

List item version history shows only 15 changed columns in Sharepoint online

When looking at the version history of a list item in Sharepoint Online, for each version it shows the columns that were changed in that version. Unfortunately it only shows the first 15 columns that have been changed then just displays some static text of "(more...)".
Is there anyway to see a full list of all the columns and values that were changed rather than just the first 15? I don't know if there is another way, in sharepoint server I used to do by increasing in Versions.aspx page in TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS directory the 15 value in this expression: <% if (numChanges <= 15) %> but now I don't know how to access the layout files.
Cheers.
In the SharePoint Online, it is the default design. And there is no option to change it. You should click View to see all columns.

Can't select data when adding a binding from a prompt to selected range on Office online

I want to select a range with the binding from a prompt. To implement this I follow the spec: Add a binding from a prompt
The behavior is ok on Excel desktop but on Excel online I can't select a range with the mouse.
I reproduce this in the Script Lab tool and I have export a gist. The gist is available on: Get data binding from a prompt.EXCEL.yaml
For testing,
Open a document on Office online
Launch ScriptLab and open the project
Click on "Set binding on data" button to open the prompt (to create a binding on the cells to get their values)
Try to select a range with the mouse
Is this behavior on Excel online normal ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Yes, for now, that is the current behavior. We don't have great 'range picker' support for Excel for web, which just defaults to asking users to manually type in the address. It is something we're considering on improving on with new controls and APIs in the future.
To stay up to date, I'd suggest logging this on UserVoice and we can update it when we start: https://officespdev.uservoice.com.
thanks!

Display selected filters in a text box in cognos

Can someone please explain how can I display selected filters in a text box in Cognos ? I am preparing this report in cognos report studio
// , Use the following function call:
ParamDisplayValue(?paramname?)
From the documentation:
ParamDisplayValue
Returns a string that is the parameter display value
of "parameterName". This function appears in the Recruitment Report
sample report in the GO Data Warehouse (analysis) package.
Syntax
ParamDisplayValue (’parameterName’)

sharepoint 2013 & Excel: we can't show these features in a browser: text queries

I uploaded an Excel spreadsheet to Sharepoint 2013 & I'm getting this message "we can't show these features in a browser: text queries". What text queries are they referring to? I can't edit in the spreadsheet in the browser because of this
I found out what the issue was.
I followed the same steps as listed in the "Most Helpful Reply" and the problem went away:
I was having this issue also and came across this post. I followed the suggestion of deleting the info in the connections tab and the problem continued. However, after that if you click on the properties tab under the connections tab, there is a choice in there about saving the query data. I un-checked that and at the moment I believe this has solved the problem.

WSS3 SP2 Search cannot find list item by number column

When I add a new column to a list in WSS3 (SP2, note: not MOSS), the search feature cannot find items by the values in those columns.
What I've done:
Added an issues list (built in)
Added a column called customid of type number to the list
Added a column called customref of type text (single line) to the list
When I add items, the search feature detects them (after indexing is run) by the title, Issue ID (built in), and customref. However, when I search by the customid, it returns no results.
I cannot find any documentation online which indicates that this is a limitation of WSS3.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Your time is much appreciated
basically you would have to create a managed property to achieve the functionality you are looking for but i'm afraid that you can not achieve in WSS alternatively you can use search server which is also a free you can find more details about search server at following links
