Lotus Notes 9 - is it possible to hide the preview pane when scrolling between search results in the calendar? - lotus-notes

In Lotus Notes 9 is it possible to hide the preview pane when scrolling between search results in the Lotus Notes calendar?
I choose Show -> Hide Preview in oder to hide the preview but each time I use the arrows to scroll through the search results, the preview becomes visible again.

This is not possible in lotus notes.
The " Hide Preview " setting does not affect the preview pane when scrolling between search results.

SharePoint 2013 - On clicking of Edit icon, show popup box (or) modal dialog

I have a grid which displays data from the SharePoint list.
On clicking of Edit icon, it should display a popup, where it allows users to edit Expiration date and notes field as per below screenshots.
Once user clicks on save, it should save the data back to SharePoint list and grid.
May I know how it can be achieved in SP2013 visual web part?

Scroll bar in Excel 2016 on Mac

So, I wanted to make a scroll bar in Excel, but failed due to inaccessibility of Developer tab in excel. I tried to click with the right click on the Excel menu tab but it didn't react in no way, also I tried to press Ctrl + Right click of the scroll bar on the Mac, but either way the pop up menu where you can choose to Customize the ribbon didn't appear. I ready on several how-to's that there is a Excel options where you can access Developer tab, but I simply don't have "Options" on File tab. I am using Excel 2016 on Mac. by the way, I need this scroll bar to control whether the user inputs more than max first payment for the loan ( Max first payment depends on why the loan has been taken). Maybe some of you knows better way to check whether the input is valid?
I use Excel for Mac, developer tab is available as follows:
From the menu bar, Excel > Preferences > View > 'In Ribbon Show' (Developer Tab)
If it isn't there the Excel Preferences window has a search function, try searching 'developer'.
Good luck, hope you find it.
Well I found a solution to your Issue. Most times so many tabs are left out due to the average consumer not using them. I simply navigated to the FILE tab at the top left corner of Excel (2013), click on Options and clicked on Customize Ribbon.
You should fine the Developer Tab unclicked. Below are some screenshots to help out. Hope
this helps.

Formatting options are not displaying for rich text editor in sharepoint 2013

Formatting options are not displaying for rich text editor in sharepoint 2013 in chrome & firefox browsers....but displaying in IE...can anyone help me out
In earlier versions of SharePoint, it was available right above the rich text box in the form of menu bar and that was supported only in IE browser.
But now in SharePoint 2013, fomatting options of rich text editor are available in the ribbon under Format Text and Insert tab. These tab controls are visible as soon as user clicks on Rich text box.
These Tab controls are supported in IE, Chrome and also Firebox browser.
Check if you have customized master page with custom CSS/Scripts or there are any errors in page which you can check in browser console.

Cannot edit or remove notes field

Dynamics CRM 2011 on premise.
I cannot resize the notes field with the mouse (although I can move it around the form with difficulty) and the Change Properties and Remove ribbon buttons are disabled when I select the notes field and double clicking the notes field does nothing.
What could be the cause? How can I find out what's wrong?
You need to remove the parent section (not the notes control it's self) and then add a new Notes control (Insert=> Notes) - this will then allow you to resize.

cannot display a button control in infopath form

My problem is that: when In create a form with Infopath 2010 and I add a button control, the button does not appear when I open it in display mode. then I decide to add the button in the ribbon with sharepoint designer 2010 but this button appear only in the default display form. please I need someone help me to solve this problem. I'm new in sharepoint
Thank you
Are you using the stock button control built into InfoPath? If you are not, the button images need to be uploaded and checked in within the SharePoint site. InfoPath forms should display stock buttons out of the box with no trouble.
When using picture buttons, head to the picture button properties and deselect the option that says 'Hide picture button in read-only views'.
