How to build web application that run in WeChat in app browsers?

I am trying to build a simple web application, which capture users photo and sent it my custom server there by connected to some other business use-case. My web page uses HTML's file input control to launch native camera or gallery pick up option.
var input = document.createElement('input');
input.setAttribute('accept', 'image/*');
input.setAttribute('capture', 'camera');
input.setAttribute('type', 'file');
input.click();
This web app, I placed in local webserver with a name "PhotoLocker" and testing with url like
https://localhost(ipaddress to access via mobile browser)/PhotoLocker/index.html
This link is working fine both on desktop and mobile chrome browsers and am able to debug any issues. Where as same link, I try to access from WeChat browser (just opening above link from chat window), it is not at all opening my application in WeChat in app browser.
After googling, I found that https URL scheme is not supported by WeChat. is it True? When I paste the same app url as weixin://ipaddress/PhotoLocker/index.html, I am able to see my web app home page but it is not working as expected.
My Question is - how to debug my webpage opened in WeChat browser? Do I need a official WeChat Dev account even to develop and test sample apps?
Additional Info :
I am able to debug webpage from WeChat web devloper tool as mentioned in below link. But, unable to debug mobile wechat page in this tool. It is always opening chrome dev tools.

I am a frontend developer in China, Chinese. Forgive my English for any mistake, misunderstanding I could make. Some links (dev docs mostly) below contain sites complete in Chinese, because I can not find corresponding English ones for now.
how to debug my webpage opened in WeChat browser?
Tencent provide an IDE for developing regular web interface and WeChat-mini-program, with which developer can directly interact with:
JSSDK (basically a special weixin
Object lives only in in-WeChat-browser);
API provided in WeChat-mini-program.
If you download that IDE:
First it will ask you is to use you WeChat to scan the QRCode, then confirm login with your WeChat account;
Next it will show up two square button (image below), left one is for WeChat-mini-program, the right one is for you to testing regular web page.
Click the right blue one, then you can find your way out, it's just something built top on project Blink.
As you can see the part of debugging regular webpage in WeChat IDE is no more than a simulator (in the WeChat-mini-program part, developer can write code directly in it), and in my experience it does have bugs, you will still need to test code in real machine.
For that Tencent provide another tool called vConsole, tutorials here, with it you can do following things directly in in-WeChat-browsers:
View console logs;
View network requests;
View document elements;
View Cookies and localStorages;
Execute JS command manually
and so on
Do I need a official WeChat Dev account even to develop and test sample apps?
Depends.
You may know the Official Account inside WeChat, with webpages directly opened in any context inside in-WeChat-browser, it will have the ability to interact the weixin Object, or have some API like login with WeChat, pay with WeChat Pay:
API like close current in-WeChat-browser, hide-share-button will not required anything special, you don't need to register any Official Account;
But if you want yo do the Pay, Login thing, you need an Official Account and pay for the ability every year (not sure about this outside China).
The localhost problem you faced
I don't have my working machine with me now so I can not test. Regularly I can proxy localhost with Charles then debugging in WeChat, but never do the https, I will try it later.
All the information got regarding how to debug webpage opened in wechat browser redirects to how to see log or ajax/netwrok calls analysis.
Even with WeChat web devloper tool as mentioned in below link, I am unable to debug mobile wechat page in this tool. It is always opening chrome dev tools.
https://mp.weixin.qq.com/wiki?action=doc&id=mp1455784140&t=0.06697335132505233#1.
Hence further analyzed remote mobile webpage debugging and found that there is no way to put break points, watch, expressions and all just like in chrome dev tools is not possible.
As a work around - you are able to debug code, when you simulate page in dev tools but no way to debug webpage in mobile device.
Same webpage when tried to do remote debugging as per WeChat web devloper tool documentation. here we can only see console logs and network calls.

Instagram captcha error on new app creation

When I try to create an instagram client (developer side), I'm always getting the same error:
Captcha invalid, please try again
Submission error: please fill out all required fields.
All fields are correctly set and captcha is good. (I tried many times, but always same error)
Someone have a solution for me?
If you look at the console, we can see there is an error related to "Content Security Policy" which avoid loading google captcha script :
Based on this answer there is no easy way to disable "Content Security Policy" in Chrome except by using an extension.
Such an extension is available here : Disable Content Security Policy [Google Chrome extension]
Once the extension is active, the instagram form loads without errors and should look like this :
For security reason I highly recommend to uninstall the extension once the app is created.
I am getting the same errors, tried different browsers and even computers, no luck. I think its broken for everyone...
Edit: To clarify this is the form with the broken Captcha https://www.instagram.com/developer/clients/register/ and seems to prevent any new clients from being created.
Edit2: Tried the following devices
Win10 w/ Chrome v61.0.3163.100
Android 7.12 w/ Chrome v61.0.3163.98
SUCCESS: Worked only on a MacOS(Sierra 10.12.5) with Safari. Tried with Chrome v60.x and still did not work on the Mac. Only Safari seems to work.
Just go to your Google Chrome in your mobile phone (mine is Android) and it should work.
It worked for me ;)
Well. I found a solution.
I had the same problem. Simply do that from your cellphone and it works.
Update: The Android Chrome version that I used is: 61.0
https://www.instagram.com/developer/clients/register/
This form is broken, throws below error:
The captcha solution was not correct. Please try again.
Submission error: please fill out all required fields.
For those who just want the access the api and dont need a client id this is a workarround.
I mangaged to get an access_token through http://instagram.pixelunion.net/
So i can still load images from my profile on my site
https://api.instagram.com/v1/users/{userid}/media/recent/?access_token={generated_accesscode}
It worked for me in a Incognito window in Google Chrome
The captcha doesn't event show up for me on any browser on OS. Mobile or desktop. In the end I just didn't use a client ID and the user Id and access token seem to be enough for me to access my feed.

http://instagram.pixelunion.net/
You have to press enter after typing your redirect_url.
Don't just click or tab to the next field.
I solved this issue by inserting a longer value in the description form input and by using the Firefox browser... What a joke !
I don't understand the matter but it's the only way I found.
I hope it will help someone here.
I tried Android app, Android Chrome, Android Firefox, and Laptop's Chrome. None of them worked... Finally I tried Laptop's Firefox and it worked like a charm... I happened to get a captcha with 3 words. Actually it was 2 signs but the second one has a road name and a number.
It works on latest version of firefox (v 55.0.3 32-bit) for me on windows 8.1.
Tried on android chrome, but that would not even let me open instagram.
I just finished creating couple of applications.
It worked for me using Chrome on macOS High Sierra. Chrome version is 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Worked immediately on Firefox without a hiccup.
Firefox:55.0.3 (64-bit)
OSX Sierra: 10.12.6 (16G29)
Didn't work on Safari or Chrome.
Hope it works for you.
I tried different OS (Windows/Linux/Mac OS/iOS/Android) and browser (Chrome/Safari/Firefox/IE) combinations with absolutely no luck. I contacted instagram and reported this issue and I recommend you do the same.
In the meantime, I found this temporary workaround. I went ahead a generated an access token using this link: Instagram Pixel Union
Now I can continue doing the development work while waiting for the response from instagram. I also sent the request to them for information
I got the form to successfully submit the first time round using Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6 in Firefox 54.0.1.
No version of Safari or Chrome would work for me.
Had the very same error:
The captcha solution was not correct. Please try again.
Submission error: please fill out all required fields.
Hope Firefox solves the issue for all.

Pepper Robot Web Debugging

We're trying to show a web page on pepper's tablet, but something goes wrong. How can we get the browser's error messages to debug the web page?
We know js 1.5 is implemented, so we installed all kind of polyfills for Promises, forEach, etc. But no luck. How can we get meaningful debugging info?
thx
Sven
I create a git for showing a web page and send event with the module ALMemory ( see it for an example). For debugging, it is more complicated but you can also try this. You can create a template for showing web page and connect directly it to your robot. For example, you install it on your pc and create a web-page template with python jumpstart.py service-tabletpage my-package-name MyServiceName. A package will be create in a file output. Open this app on choregraphe and install it on the robot. You can after that launch on your computer the web page (double click on index.html, name by default) and just adding at the end of the url ?robot=ip_of_the_robot. You can now debug your code.

trigger io chrome extension does not seem to work

I am trying trigger io for the first time.
I am trying to use the chrome extension and eventually would like to get to a point where I can run/debug (using chrome developer tools) on the browser before deploying to IOS and android.
I created the default app you have - I am able to run it on IOS simulator.
When I run it on chrome, I get the following:
The required steps are:
1) Go to chrome:extensions in the Chrome browser
2) Make sure "developer mode" is on (top right corner)')
3) Use "Load unpacked extension" and select the folder:
I have followed the instructions given but even if I quit the browser and relaunch it and run the forge build for the default app, I get the same response.
Would appreciate any help.
Does the extension install when you run through the steps you list in your question?
Note, to see your app running in Chrome, you'll need to use something like the button module...
However, if you just want to see your app running in a browser so you can use developer tools, click "web" instead of "chrome" - it will open as a web app in your browser.

Spotify apps api inspector not working

I'm looking at the spotify apps api. When I try to open the inspector it says "Please select the app to inspect". Selecting or loading an app does not help, I always get this message, on any app. I have a developer account and am using version 0.8.10.2.g1283206d, I also tried older versions. I'm on Windows 7. Did anyone get this error? Am I missing something?
You can not inspect other peoples apps. It only seems to work on apps you have loaded from your local machine.
I had the same problem but found a solution
So apparently it works for me, if you right-click the open application and hit "Show Inspector". After that, it works to hit show inspector from the top menu bar as well. However as soon as you go to another app at switch back to your local app, you're once again not able to hit "show inspector" from the top menu bar. Seems like there is a bug in the interface.
Try right-clicking the app itself and choosing "Show Inspector" from the pop-up menu you get.
