I'm currently in the process of adapting my .htaccess file, but need help.
The URLs should all be redirected.
The big characters should be converted into small characters.
If the called address exists, the file should be called directly.
All other addresses that do not exist should be forwarded to Index.php.
The following link is now called:
www.example.com/test1/test2/test3.html
example.com/TeST1/TEST2/test3.html
www.example.com/test1/test2/test3
The forwarding should always call the Index.php and the following should be in the address line:
http://example.com/test1/test2/test3.html
If I have variables (example.com/TeST1/TEST2/test3.html?id=6&test=hello) these should of course also be transferred.
So that my CSS files and images can be properly integrated, I think I have to deactivate the forwarding for certain file types.
The following folders should be excluded from the redirection: css, media, img
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^.*$ /index.php [L,QSA]
Can someone write the file or help me with it?
Try:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteMap lc int:tolower
RewriteCond ${REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond ${REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule (.*[A-Z].*) /${lc:$1} [R=302,L]
# if you encounter double slashes, remove the slash before ${lc...
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^ /index.html [QSA,L]

i have an index.php in the following folder:
https://example.com/folder1/folder2/index.php
If the URL is
https://example.com/folder1/folder2/93j3h233j3
then redirect to the index.php but the URL should stay the same!
My idea: i call a php file without .php first and then try to redirect...
RewriteRule ^folder1/folder2/([^\.]+)$ /folder1/folder2/index.php?&%{QUERY_STRING}
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^folder1/folder2/(.*)$ /folder1/folder2/index.php? [R=302]
This doesnt work.
And keep the name! but how?
Any Idea?
Thank you
You can have your rule as this:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(folder1/folder2)/.+$ $1/index.php [L,NC]
There is no need to use your first rule.
Hello guys can you help me how set proper url in codeigniter using multiple applications and i proper .htaccess
Folder Structure
-application
-api
-cms
-system
-api.php
-cms.php
Its works when a use this
http://localhost/kitkat_funs/cms.php/
http://localhost/kitkat_funs/api.php/
But i want this
http://localhost/kitkat_funs/cms/
http://localhost/kitkat_funs/api/
My htaccess
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -s [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -l [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
RewriteRule ^.*$ - [NC,L]
RewriteRule ^.*$ index.php [NC,L]
Please try following steps:
In config=>config.php, replace like following.
$config['index_page'] = 'index.php';
to
$config['index_page'] = '';
Please put following code into your .htaccess file, this might help you to achieve the result.
write your project folder name as rewritebase
RewriteBase /yourprojname/
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/system.*
RewriteRule ^(.*) index.php?/$1 [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.+) index.php?/$1 [L]
*take backup of your .htaccess file.
This problem appear when you working with Codeigniter using Multiple application(and multiple index_appname.php. Ofcourse you can add new line in .htaccess everytime you add another application but that is not convenience.
The solution is using basic Regular Expression. You need to write 2 section, one is for address without slash, and the other with more than one slash after index file
Note: in this case the index.php file has prefix "index_" following with app name
# If the user types without trailing slash example www.host.com/kitkat_funs/appname
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(\w*)$ index_$1\.php [L,QSA]
# If the user enter in any system section with slash example www.host.com/kitkat_funs/appname/page/etc
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)\/(.*)$ index_$2\.php/$1 [L,QSA]
Everytime user enter address right after domain name, for example www.host.com/kitkatname/cms
.htaccess will automatically redirect to www.host.com/kitkatname/cms.php
now you can get rid .php extension on your index file
When I don't edit my .htaccess file, my image path reads something like: http://this.website.com/codeigniter/inc/images/logo.jpg.
However, as soon as I add this code into the .htaccess file:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php)
RewriteRule ^(.+)$ index.php?$1 [L]
(to remove the index.php from the URL), I get 404 error, even with the exact same path.
How do I remove index.php and still have access to my images?
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond $1 !^index\.php [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^(.+)$ index.php?$1 [L]
The two new RewriteConditions would exclude existing directories and files (and so images) from redirection.
In my app, I have the srcs of many images like this:
path/other-path/my-image.jpg
This can get long and can expose some of my file structure to the outside world.
What can I do in .htaccess to redirect a given file extension to a directory?
i.e. my image src is simply "my-image.jpg", .htaccess sees that is a .jpg file and redirects to the folder "www.site.com/my-jpgs/" were "my-image.jpg" resides, thus loading the image.
Here is what I have at the moment:
Options +FollowSymLinks
IndexIgnore */*
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/importers
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !\.(gif|jpg|png)$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ public_html/index.php
RewriteBase /
# Ignore rule if the real path exists, use that instead.
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
# Only use the filename and extension.
RewriteRule (.[^/]*)\.(gif|jpg|png) public_html/images$1.$2 [R,L]
I've sort of got it working, except the browser makes two requests that look like this:
Request URL:http://www.view.com/activity/enquiry/dropdown-btn.gif
Request URL:http://www.view.com/public_html/images/dropdown-btn.gif
The second being correct, how do I correct this so it doesn't make the first incorrect request?
Ordering of rewrite rules is very important in .htaccess. Your problem is incorrect ordering of your rule. You need to move last rule to the top just belowRewriteEngine Online to have external redirect before sending everything off toindex.php`:
Options +FollowSymLinks
IndexIgnore */*
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
# Ignore rule if the real path exists, use that instead.
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
# Only use the filename and extension.
RewriteRule ^(?:[^/]+/)*([^.]+\.(?:gif|jpe?g|png))$ images/$1 [R,L,NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/importers
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !\.(gif|jpe?g|png)$
RewriteRule ^ index.php [L]
Im working on a server with the following htaccess:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteRule .* index.php
RewriteRule ^[^/]*\.html$ index.php
RewriteRule ^/(typo3|typo3temp|typo3conf|t3lib|tslib|fileadmin|uploads|showpic\.php)/ - [L]
RewriteRule ^/(typo3|typo3temp|typo3conf|t3lib|tslib|fileadmin|uploads|showpic\.php)/.*$ - [L]
Now they asked me to prepare a static page inside their server, lets call it http://www.myserver.com/mystaticpage.html
The problem is that when i try to access that url, it redirects to index.php. How could I alter the htacces file to address this problem without messing anything with the installed CMS?
Try this:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteCond ${REQUEST_URI} !^/(typo3|typo3temp|typo3conf|t3lib|tslib|fileadmin|uploads|showpic\.php)
RewriteRule .* index.php
The rules you used before were redundant: if .* is rewritten to index.php then why also rewrite ^[^/]*\.html$ index.php to it? it already matched previous rule...
They also overlapped - since the three RewriteCond conditions were only applied on the first rule. So the second rule was also applied to static files on disk.
Also, the two rules that were listed last had no effect whatsoever. Either you needed to list them first, or not at all. I converted them to an additional RewriteCond since they were only attempted to avoid rewrite on certain uris
