Node schedule run every minute within specific range of hours - node.js

I might be overlooking over already-asked-question, but I have not found it yet. Basically, did I do it right in order to execute job for every minute within 9 AM to 6 PM?
schedule.scheduleJob("*/1 9-18 * * *", function Job())

The cron expression should be 0 * 9-18 ? * * *
It reads 0 seconds, every minute, from 9 to 18 every day, every month, every year.
Use cron expression builder for convenience - something like this:

How to write cron expression?

In mule, I need to poll once in 48 hours.
I wrote the cron expression 0 0 1/48 ? * * but it is running twice in 48 hours, i.e, once in 24 hours.
Can anybody suggest exact expression?
You can also make use of cron maker.
http://www.cronmaker.com/
You can use 0 0 0 1/2 * ? * to poll once every two days at 12 AM. The 3rd value from right can be used to specify that at what hour you want to poll once every two days.
One thing I can notice in the cron expression you are using is you are putting 1/48 at wrong position.
The cron expression has specific place for unit of time.
Minute Hour Day Month Weekday
if you want to execute the job every 48 hours you should something like this :
0 */48 * * *
or if you want to execute the job once in 2 days then you could use something like below:
0 0 */2 * *
Let me know if this is helpful for you.

Run Cron Job On Specific Minute?

I need to run a cron job on the 3rd minute of every hour, every day.
Here's what I currently have:
3 * * * *
Is that how you correctly do it or would that run it every 3 minutes instead?
That is correct!
If you would like to run a job every third minute you could do like this:
*/3 * * * *

Is there any way to specify periods with cron without setting up multiple instances?

I want a cron job to run between 7 AM and 10 PM, every day, at 5 minute intervals. Normally this would be okay if it was 5 minute intervals, because you could just use "/5", but is there a way to specify it as 5 minute intervals but skip the times between 10PM and 7AM?
The minutes are specified separately from the hours in crontab. Specify minutes using the periodic notation, and the hours as a range.
*/5 7-21 * * * /path/to/script
Below would help for Quartz scheduler
0 00/5 7-21 * * ?

Run a cron job every minute only between 10 am to 5 pm

How do you run a cron job every minute only between office hours(10 am to 5pm)
I checked this thread Run a cron job every minute only on specific hours? but it doesn't answer my questions.
This should be correct:
* 10-16 * * 1-5 /path/to/my-script
So every single minute, between and including 10am and 5pm, every day in every month that is a day between and including monday to friday. Obviously "office hours" is a fuzzy expression, many people have other schedules ;-)
Unfortunately I fail to see an easy solution to get the script executed also exactly on 5pm...
* 10-16 * * * /path/to/executable/file argument_1 argument_2
Yes, you can define hours range.
Someone tried to edit my answer but as documentation says hours in range are inclusive http://team.macnn.com/drafts/crontab_defs.html so don't change 16 to 17.
It does,
Access your shell script and add the following
* 10-17 * * *
This means run every min, between these hours, on every day, of every month etc

Crontab syntax for non-aligned hourly range?

If I want to schedule a job to occur every five minutes between 9 until 11 pm I can use the following cron trigger:
0/5 21-22 * * *
(or something like 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55 21-22 * * * for finer control over the minutes if needed).
Is there a way to specify "every five minutes from 9:30 until 11:30"? The trickiness revolves around having e.g. 5 in the minutes field yet skipping it if the hour is 21, and I'm not immediately aware of any way to achieve that.
A simple, workaround would be to add more scheduled jobs in cron...
i.e.
30,35,40,45,50,55 21 * * * /job_to_run
*/5 22 /job_to_run
5,10,15,20,25,30 23 * * * /job_to_run
p.s. Cron usually has the following order:
Minutes Hour DayOfMonth Month DayOfWeek Command
