Docusign: HTTPS required for Connect listener communication error - docusignapi

I'm trying to use the Docusign API for an application that I'm running locally and I see the following error:
"message":"Uncaught Error when executing a Single
Cause: com.docusign.esign.client.ApiException: Error while
requesting server, received a non successful HTTP code 400 with response Body:
'{"errorCode":"HTTPS_REQUIRED_FOR_CONNECT_LISTENER",
"message":"HTTPS required for Connect listener communication."}'
Description: com.docusign.esign.client.ApiException: Error while
requesting server, received a non successful HTTP code 400 with response Body:
'{"errorCode":"HTTPS_REQUIRED_FOR_CONNECT_LISTENER",
"message":"HTTPS required for Connect listener communication."}
I am behind a company proxy but I have been able to use the API in the past and create envelopes without an issue so I'm not sure how to address this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This change is discussed in the Jan release notes.
Connect can only be used with https listeners (customers' servers).
And note that the server must use a certificate that chains to a root cert in the Microsoft standard root cert list. (Self-signed certs won't work.) You can use a free cert from LetsEncrypt or a $15 cert from a reputable CA.
I'm sorry that this update caught you by surprise.

Getting error now, it was working fine before:
Fatal error: Uncaught DocuSign\eSign\Client\ApiException: Error while requesting server, received a non successful HTTP code [400] with response Body: O:8:"stdClass":2:{s:9:"errorCode";s:35:"HTTPS_REQUIRED_FOR_CONNECT_LISTENER";s:7:"message";s:50:"HTTPS required for Connect listener communication.";}

Azure app service some requests returns 400 Bad Request. The request could not be understood by the server due to malformed syntax

So we have a simple .net core 5.0 service that only serves some simple pages with mvc. We are starting to get 400 Errors (details below) on some of the requests. Our frontend is embedded in an iframe which forces us to use our own domain for our api-calls. The 400 errors disappears when we use the azure internal-urls. (*.azurewebsites.net instead of *.ourdomain.net). When I get to the "diagnose and solve problems" -> "availability and performance" -> HTTP 4XX ERRORS i can se below errors. Any ideas on what can cause this error?
Bad Request. The request could not be understood by the server due to malformed syntax. The client should not repeat the request without modifications.
So, the biggest problem above is that we do not get the correct errormessage. After a lot of experimentation we activated the ConnectionLogging for Kestrel.
WebHost.CreateDefaultBuilder(args)
.UseKestrel(options =>
{
options.ConfigureEndpointDefaults(listenOptions =>
{
listenOptions.UseConnectionLogging();
});
})
And after that we found some more intressting logs. One that said:
Connection id "0HMFSA73IA4LS" bad request data: "Malformed request: invalid headers."
Microsoft.AspNetCore.Server.Kestrel.Core.BadHttpRequestException: Malformed request: invalid headers.
After some more investigation we could diff a succesful request from a failing request. And the problem was related to the certificate of *.ourdomain.se. In a part of the certificate we hade a string thats named "Stockholms län" in the cases where it failed the string decoded to ln and when it succeeded the string decoded to l%C3%A4n. We are now investigating if this is a load balancer problem. But this app is running hostingmodel outofprocess. By changing this to inprocess and wrap our Kestrel in IIS the errors disapears.

Problem connecting Snowflake to DataFactory

Upon using the DataFacotry Connector to Snowflake, I consistently get the error message below. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I am using an Azure-managed Integration Runtime.

Probably not a good idea, from a security perspective, to leave your account id visible like this.
Anyway, the issue is probably that you have mis-configured your connection as snowflake.com is repeated: ...snowflakecomputing.com.snowflakecomputing.com

Response as undefined after an API call

I am using the request library to fetch a response from an API, everything was working fine but as of recent, I have started to get local issuer certificate error from the API although the same code is working on my colleague's system.
I have already tried updating the node version and all the version changes regarding the request package of node
The exact error is:
unable to get local issuer certificate node
Here is the error snippet in the console
Could u please console only response..After that u can easily see that there is statusCode is available or not.
Or if u get the statusCode then check its defined or not.
Ex: if(res.statusCode)
console.log("print status code", this.res.statusCode);
This is an SSL error and yo need to make sure that your server's certificate is valid.
With your claim that it used to work - but it stopped working recently with the SSL error message, the possibilities are that either your servers certificate is expired in between or the Sectigo AddTrust External CA Root Expiring May 30, 2020.

Updating the certificate is outside the scope of this answer. You may have to do it yourself or contact the admin.

I ma using heroku and mongolab to host my node app.

I am trying to access this url:

have I dont something wrong??
Apologies for the confusion. For your protection, we have expired all passwords after the heartbleed issue was announced this week and it appears that while you usually SSO in from Heroku you do actually have a password with us.
You appear to have hit an edge case with that code. You should be forced to your user info screen where you can update your password, but it appears you're tripping over an error. Could you write us at support#mongolab.com so that we can identify your account and work through the issue with you?

Error reaching the Node.js server in drupal 7

I have installed node.js server on shared hosting.I have drupal site in which I am using node.js integration module to connect to node.js server.
But whenever I am trying to broadcast message from admin panel, I am getting this error message "Error reaching the Node.js server "Error reaching the Node.js server at "nodejs/publish" with {"data":{"somecustomdata":"http://www.google.ca"},"channel":"nodejs_user_1","callback":"myowncallback","clientSocketId":""} "%{"data":{"somecustomdata":"http://www.google.ca"},"channel":"nodejs_user_1","callback":"myowncallback","clientSocketId":""}": [404] Not Found." in db log.
Any help would be appreciated.
It is very likely one of two things:
Drupal server is accessing wrong URI.
Node.js Server is not listening to the URI you expect it to.
Of course something less obvious might cause errors, but please verify those two before proceeding.
Best would be to get your Drupal server print in error logs the URI it is trying to access, and manually verify you can access it within your browser, or another tool.
Thanks "alandrev" for your help.I have resolved that issue on the same day but I forgot to add my mistake.Actually I was not configuring the nodejs correctly.I was using the incorrect port number on backend settings in nodejs.config.js file.The correct settings mentioned below:
backendSettings = {
"scheme":"https",
"host":"yourhostname",
"port":"port number which is not already in use",
'sslKeyPath': 'key file path for ssl enabled site otherwise leave empty',
'sslCertPath': 'certificate path for ssl enabled site otherwise leave empty',
'sslCAPath': '',
"resource":"/socket.io",
"baseAuthPath": '/nodejs/',
"publishUrl":"publish",
"serviceKey":"",
"backend":{
"port":443,
"scheme": 'https or http',
"host":"yourhostname",
"messagePath":"/nodejs/message/"},
"clientsCanWriteToChannels":false,
"clientsCanWriteToClients":false,

"addUserToChannelUrl": 'user/channel/add/:channel/:uid',
"publishMessageToContentChannelUrl": 'content/token/message',
"jsMinification":true,
"jsEtag":true,
"logLevel":1};
Solved this same issue by adding "polling" to the transport
backendSettings = {
"scheme":"http",
"host":"localhost",
"port":8081,
"key":"/path/to/key/file",
"cert":"/path/to/cert/file",
"resource":"/socket.io",
"publishUrl":"publish",
"serviceKey":"SERVICE KEY",

"port":80,
"host":"localhost",
"messagePath":"/mysite/nodejs/message/"},

"debug":true,
"transports":["websocket","polling",
"flashsocket",
