I'm not getting any output in the correct code (2nd code)?

Hi and thanks in advance for any help.
Here is the code that works with the proper output.
first_name="ada"
last_name="lovelace"
full_name=f"{first_name} {last_name}"
message=(f"Hello, {full_name.title()}!")
print(message)
Here is the similar code with no output...and I can't figure out why?
first_name="ada"
last_name="lovelace"
full_name=f"{first_name} {last_name}"
print(full_name)
I know it is correct coding based on the teacher's response but can't figure out why?
Thank you for any help!
You forgot to add .title() to your string formatting request.
You can do either:
# to get both capitalized add .title() twice here at "full name".
first_name="ada"
last_name="lovelace"
full_name=f"{first_name.title()} {last_name.title()}"
print(full_name)
or:
# to get both capitalized add .title() once here at "message".
first_name="ada"
last_name="lovelace"
full_name=f"{first_name} {last_name}"
message=(f"{full_name.title()}")
print(message)

Rally excel plugin - export test cases for given story id

I am using the Rally excel plugin v2.4.4 and trying to export all TestCases for a given Story ID (formattedId). However, the filter query is not working. I have used the following queries -
WorkProduct.FormattedID = "S123456"
Parent.FormattedID = "S123456"
Is anyone aware of a solution to this?
I was able to solve this following the help topic. Used WorkProduct.OID = "11222333" to extract required test cases.

VBF syntax for SSRS expression cannot figure out proper construct

looking for help on what should be a very basic function. I am trying to get a SUM of a specific value, however I do not seem to get the syntax correct.
Here is what I have
=Sum(Fields!PriorYearSalesDollars.Value - Sum(Fields!PriorYearCost.Value
+Sum(Fields!PriorYearFrtCost.Value)))
However I get an error when trying to sum. Is there another way to test this also? Each time I modify the expression I then have to save the report and upload to the report server and test again. If I do it through the preview function in visual studio it throws a generic error on the whole report. When running from report server, just this specific column shows #Error
This is the syntax that works after FIRST changing the column format to numbers where I accidentally did it as currency first. Not sure why currency didn't work, but this is correct.
=Sum(Fields!PriorYearSalesDollars.Value) - (Sum(Fields!PriorYearCost.Value) + Sum(Fields!PriorYearFrtCost.Value))

Using AND and OR together on the IF function

Hi all I have been trying to fin out how to use AND and OR together on the same formula.
I'm trying to resolve the following issue :
The person will get a discount only if they are working on the Cerrovial project or if they are working on the Parinas project but the risk of the job must be Low
I tried to use a formula and excel gave me an error and also fixed my formula but I do not know if this is correct or what the "*" means
=IF(OR(D14="CerroVial",D14="Parinas")*AND(E14="Low"),"8%","")
You were close:
=IF(AND(OR(D14="CerroVial",D14="Parinas"),E14="Low"),"8%","")
All the elements of the AND need to be in the AND(...), just like for the OR, which you had done correctly.

Getting values of properties in SoapUI's groovy

I'm pretty new to testing and SoapUI and I've just faced a problem:
I have 2 soap requests from which I transfer data (using PropertyTransfer) to Properties - I can do that and it works fine for me.
But now I would like to take those values in my groovy script (which is next step of my testcase). How to do that? So far, I have found following:
testRunner.testCase.getPropertyValue("SomeProp")
But it doesn't work for me. I guess it's not that Properties. Any tips?
In the Groovy script panel you can right-click and select Get Data, to help you out. You will end up with something like this:
context.expand( '${Properties step#SomeProp}' )
Same thing can also be written as:
testRunner.testCase.testSteps['Properties step'].getPropertyValue("SomeProp")
Few cents:
if we are loading properties file through external file via -Dsoapui.properties=\tmp.properties
Contents of tmp.properties
serialNumber=908664374
ideal way to load the property 'serialNumber' in groovy file would be,
def serialnumber = context.expand('${#serialNumber}')
But if you have a property at any level [test suites, test cases or project] inside your SOAPUI project, say you have it at project level, then it would be
def serialnumber1 = context.expand('${#Project#serialNumber}')
The first expression works with:
context.expand( '${Properties_step#SomeProp}' )
To read property from Project level properties
testRunner.testCase.testSuite.project.getPropertyValue( "PropertyName")
To read property from Test Case level properties
testRunner.testCase.getPropertyValue("PropertyName")
Two answers are possible for this type of scenarios ,
Setting and Getting the Property values,
Message Exchange
Test Runner
Message Exchange :
def testCase=messageExchange.modelItem.testCase.getPropertyValue("Propertyname")
Test Runner:
testRunner.testCase.getPropertyValue("PropertyName")
Note : context also helps to retrieve the same .
