I have a Google Assistant action that has been happily storing data between conversations on the conv.user.storage bucket. It has suddenly just stopped working and I am struggling to track down why. The only major change was deploying an alpha release of the action. i have checked and the user is VERIFIED and it returns old stale data when I do a trace.
Is it common for this to just stop working?
I paused the Web Activity control on my Google account, and then started it again. Suddenly the data persistence worked again. That's not great though. That it could just stop like that?

Firstly, please see this Link: Currently, Data Factory UI is supported only in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome web browsers.
I often experience this issue but not always. The azure data factory UI keep loading or keep asking me to re-enter my account information. I fixed it by using incognito mode in the browser.
You could find many clues from this MSDN case.
Updates at 30.DEC.2019:
The UI started working after couple of days without any changes.
I am working with LUIS NLP service provided through website www.luis.ai. I am not able to open this website for few days, it hangs right on the account login page with message - "Please wait a few moments... Initializing". Is there some issue in LUIS or I am missing something? I have attached the image where this site hangs.
Any help will be appreciable. Thanks.
We're also seeing this issue, quite a lot. There site is quite buggy on the front-end.
What has worked for us was to use IE, it seems to run a bit better there. Also, if it gets stuck on 'initializing' for like 3 or 4 seconds, a refresh usually does the trick
My Google Chrome Extension (Annotate for Chrome) has successfully received payments.
I have updated the app recently but not the payment flow.
Now when a user initiates a payment the Google modal pops up (that displays the Google payment - from Buy.js) the spinner just runs endlessly and console shows a 401 error.
I double-checked manifest and in-app purchase SKU etc and don't see any differences from previous versions that worked. My check for current license is working fine - which tells me my app is being recognized by the Google Web Store and returning data on specific users license status...
Any thoughts on what could cause this? Many thanks.
(I submitted a ticket to CWS support - nothing yet). Probably something stupid but I don't know how to debug. Or epic fail on Google's part.
The root cause of this issue has been fixed and purchase flows should be working as expected now. Details over here: https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/d/msg/chromium-extensions/bxoptYk8--Y/Mh_qJp4gDQAJ
This is a problem with the Chrome Web Store.
I tried to purchase another Extension (https://www.twinword.com/blog/how-to-quickly-monetize-your-chrome-browser/) that uses in-app purchases and saw the exact same problem.
So Google's Web Store purchasing process has been broken for a week+ and no one at Google cares. Maybe they should get out of the payments business and require developers use 3rd party solutions. Utterly disgusting on Google's part. I'd like my 6 hours of troubleshooting back...
It appears that the libspotify page is once again no longer able to generate application keys. When trying, either via Firefox or Internet Explorer, the page reports that "There was an error generating your application key". Is the site down again, or am I doing something wrong? I've never used that page before.
Earlier today, the SpotifyPlatform Twitter account reported that the service is having issues. However, they must either be working on it or have finished doing so as a key request I just put in worked properly.
I have recently installed a website project on Azure and that was relatively easy to do thanks to great docs online. We are having a problem with the back office (admin) login though, it's a bit strange, as it didn't happen straight away, I shall elaborate....
When I go to http://www.keelycattschoolofdance.co.uk/umbraco/ it takes me to the login page, which seems fine.
(The url at this point becomes www.keelycattschoolofdance.co.uk/.../login.aspx)
I then login, which works and it starts to display the admin panels but then bounces back to the login and the URL becomes www.keelycattschoolofdance.co.uk/.../login.aspx
I am running this on Azure using the Accelerator, latest version of Umbraco and using SQL CE 4.0 rather than SQL Server.
has anyone seen this before?
Please let me know if you need more information, I shall respond :-)
Thanks in advance
Nick
It sounds like it may be a Session error. This is a problem for Azure and Umbraco because Azure uses round robin load balancing.
The normal way of setting up an Umbraco site using the accelerator would be to have a separate session DB where the shared session state is stored.
Make sure you are using this accelerator for Umbraco on Azure as it's the latest and best.
http://waacceleratorumbraco.codeplex.com/
We have several large production sites using this and I can confirm they all work fine (including the backend editing environment).
Things to watch out for are that you need to follow the instructions closely as they are easy to get wrong :-)
Make sure you don't have dashes in your db names as this makes things go wrong as well.
Finally if you are using more than one web role the Umbraco preview can sometimes yellow screen, as the preview XML may not be on the server that gets to the preview request. This is again because of the round robin load balancing.
