IIS server is not reflecting the changes? - iis

I have built an application using Angular 6 and built dist folder and uploaded it to IIS server then it is reflecting changes but now if I make any new changes an upload it then IIS server is not reflecting changes, I don't know why it is happening.
I am using firebase Real Time, In my project I just added image uploading functionality,
Before this issue I was getting Server error 404 404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. so to get rid off such issue I added { provide: LocationStrategy, useClass: HashLocationStrategy } this in my project but I uploaded it but changes not seen.
Please help what might be cause of this issue.
Thanks in Advance.

You need to refresh the site in iis or restart iis server.also clear browser cache and browse the page.

Default Document not working on Azure Web App

I have a simple azure web app and have set the default document in the portal to home.aspx. There is a home.aspx file published, it is browsable via http://my-domain.azurewebsites.net/home.aspx (not real domain) however the default document won't work when browsing to http://my-domain.azurewebsites.net it returns a 404. There is nothing special here. I even added it to the web.confg and it still returns a 404. It is a web forms project, set to integrated security with the correct default document added. Any ideas?
I setup the following web app (West): supportforlucuma There is only one other app in that plan which is the one that isn't working.
I can see the home.html page by visit “http://supportforlucuma.azurewebsites.net/”, Is your issue solved? If no, I will provide more information of how to debug this issue.
Except to set default document on portal and web.config, the default document also could be set in RouteConfig.cs file. For example, following code will set the index.aspx as the default page of current web application and it has the highest priority. If index.aspx file is not exist, a 404 error will response to client. Please check whether the similar code is exist in RouteConfig.cs file.
routes.MapPageRoute("default", "{page}", "~/{page}.aspx",false,new RouteValueDictionary( new { page = "index" }));
For further troubleshooting this issue, we can to get the detail information of 404 response. For example, which modules are executed on server side during the default page is accessed. To do it, we need to enable Failed request tracing. Then we could see the detail information by download the tracing log from LogFiles folder. For example, "ftp://xx.ftp.azurewebsites.windows.net/LogFiles/W3SVC355162095/".

Using Umbraco with Subfolders

I have built an Umbraco project (7.2.2) on my local machine and it all works well. I now want to copy it to our test server running IIS 7.5.
I have created a Virtual Folder in IIS under the default web site and copied the project across. The url I am using is www.ourserver.com/testumbraco. I can access the content ok but if I try to login to edit the content I get a blank page (umbraco#/login/false) and shortly afterwards it returns to the login page with Session timed out.
If I Inspect the page I can see that some resources have failed to load with Error 404. It is looking for www.ourserver.com/umbraco and not www.ourserver.com/testumbraco/umbraco.
Is there a configuration setting I need to change to make this work properly?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
You need to update the umbracoPath setting in the web.config

Error in non existent global.asa

I have a user's website giving an error in a global.asa file but it does not exist in their web root. It looks like the account has been hacked as it's giving an error about not connecting to a server, and at the same time I see the firewall block outbound connection requests.
msxml3.dll error '80072efd'
A connection with the server could not be established
/LM/W3SVC/6510/ROOT/global.asa, line 66
I've deleted the IIS instance and had the control panel recreate it, but the issue still exists. I've even created a dummy asp file which only displays some text and it happens.
I'm at a loss where this could be being picked up and looking for suggestions. Where might this be set?
I've had the same problem on a w2k3 server (iis6) with many sites, where just one had the fake global.asa;
I've not still found cause but a workaround solution, for me, has been:
open MMC Console (IIS manager)
stop IIS
double click on Web Sites (confirm reload offline configuration)
under every site delete "ghost" global.asa (that you don't find under phisical websites folder)
start IIS

After moving server and IP, stylesheets and other resources not found (404 errors in fiddler)

I have moved an Orchard CMS site from one host and server to another host and server. The IP address is obviously different.
All the files have been correctly copied and the correct html is rendered.
However, all the styles sheets produce a 404 error. I repeat that the files are where they should be.
Indeed, any other resource, such as images or stylesheets produce the same problem. Again, the files are all in place.
Can anyone think what could be causing this. Nothing has changed other than the server and IP.
I have another orchard site on the same IP and server that is working fine. However, it was not moved from a different server.
I ping for the site and it comes up with the correct IP address for the new server
EDIT:
Not sure that this is Orchard specific, although something related to Orchard's themes and how they work could be to blame... But I really can't see what.
It sounds much more like an IIS issue.
Can you get the CSS files, by entering their URLs into the browser address-bar directly?
Try "Copy image location" or from the Image Properties, of one of the failed images. Again, can you get this if you enter it direct into the browser?
Check the URL of failed resources, against the URL of working HTML resources or dynamic pages. make sure there are no differences in webapp path or context..
You'll also need to try Ctrl-R reloading.
There could also possibly be some caching in the way.. that might be holding the "404" or "not found" results, even after the content has moved. Try & shutdown/ or force refresh all server & proxy caches.
The server people got back to me. They changed the "website to 4.0 Integrated Pipeline mode." and all now works. Go figure.
I am sure I had checked that it was in Integrated Pipeline mode, but hey ho.

IIS 404 Error even when file exists?

I have been working with IIS 7 for a while and it has worked fine until it just suddenly started throwing 404 errors for my multiple websites even though they actually exist. All of the configurations seems fine (path, default document) but not a single file, no matter the format or location will be loaded.
Another strange thing is that everything works when I try to access the websites via localhost or 127.0.0.1 but not through my external IP.
Does anyone know why this could happen and how I can fix it?
Edit:
It appears this 404 page is not the built in IIS error page. It is associated with nginx but I'm not sure where the file is located on my server or why my pages are being intercepted.
It turns at the server was hijacked by Morfeus F***ing Scanner, which I was not aware was even a thing until this happened. It's activity showed up in the server access logs. I basically had to reset the entire server. It was quite a chore.
