PreviewConfig config = new PreviewConfig.Builder().setLensFacing(CameraX.LensFacing.FRONT).build();
Preview preview = new Preview(config);
TextureView textureView = findViewById(R.id.textureView);
preview.setOnPreviewOutputUpdateListener(new Preview.OnPreviewOutputUpdateListener() {

textureView.setSurfaceTexture(output.getSurfaceTexture());
}
});
ImageCaptureConfig imageCaptureConfig = new ImageCaptureConfig.Builder().build();
imageCapture = new ImageCapture(imageCaptureConfig);
CameraX.bindToLifecycle((LifecycleOwner) this,imageCapture, preview);
add setLensFacing(CameraX.LensFacing.FRONT) to ImageCaptureConfig should solve your problem
As an addition to nestos answer, I had to add setLensFacing(CameraX.LensFacing.FRONT) to both ImageCaptureConfig and PreviewConfig to make this work.
You should call setLensFacing(..) for each Config of UseCase that you passed to
CameraX.bindToLifecycle((LifecycleOwner) this, imageCapture, preview)
You need to add lensFacing setLensFacing(lensFacing) to the following areas:
1. PreviewConfig
2. ImageCaptureConfig
3. ImageAnalysisConfig
And that should do it.
PreviewConfig ImageCaptureConfig ImageAnalysisConfig All need to be added
setLensFacing(CameraX.LensFacing.FRONT)
This is how I set it up

I saw this error in our hazelcast cluster.
The code is trying to call executeOnKey() on an IMap. e.g.
IMap<MyKey, MyCachedClass> myMap = hz.getMap("my-map");
myMap.executeOnKey(myKey, new EntryProcessor() {
#Override
public Object process(Map.Entry entry) {
return entry.getValue().setItem(item);
}
#Override
public EntryBackupProcessor getBackupProcessor() {
return null;
}
});
...and am getting this exception:

So to me this seemed like:
The 'executeOnKey(item)' command is being sent to the 'other' node in
the cluster where this data is located.
The other node is attempting to deserialize the 'item'.
The other node cannot find the class for the inner enum 'Item$ItemEnum'
The other node makes a request to UserCodeDeploymentService to fetch class definition.
Once the class definition is fetched, and it attempts to create the new class, a
LinkageError occurs.
I just cannot understand why it's getting a duplicate class exception, when it first claimed it couldn't find the class. And this error is proving difficult to replicate.
We do have 'userCodeDeployment' set to allow loading of remote class definitions. Our config looks like this:
UserCodeDeploymentConfig ucdConfig = new UserCodeDeploymentConfig();
ucdConfig.setEnabled(true);
ucdConfig.setClassCacheMode(UserCodeDeploymentConfig.ClassCacheMode.ETERNAL);
ucdConfig.setProviderMode(UserCodeDeploymentConfig.ProviderMode.LOCAL_AND_CACHED_CLASSES);
config.setUserCodeDeploymentConfig(ucdConfig);
So it sort of looks like it's doing what I'd expect. i.e. getting a remote class definition because it can't find it locally. Is just a puzzle as to why the exception is occurring.
Eventually worked this one out.
A simple example.
Assume two Hazelcast nodes. Both have userCodeDeployment switched on. (The ability to share class definitions over the wire.)
Node 1 has MyClass on it's classpath, Node 2 does not.
MyClass definition, note the inner enum (I think the inner enum can be swapped for an inner class and the same thing will happen).
public class MyClass implements Serializable {
private final InnerEnum enumVal;
public MyClass(InnerEnum enumVal) {
this.enumVal = enumVal;
}
public enum InnerEnum {
ONE, TWO, THREE;
}
}
From Node 1, the following code is run:
hz.getMap("myClassMap").put("myClassKey", new MyClass(MyClass.InnerEnum.ONE));
hz.getMap("myInnerEnumMap").put("myInnerEnumKey", MyClass.InnerEnum.TWO);
Then, on Node 2, the following code is run:
System.out.println(hz.getMap("myInnerEnumMap").get("myInnerEnumKey"));
System.out.println(hz.getMap("myClassMap").get("myClassKey"));
On Node 2, I see the following logged:
[TRACE] ClassLocator Loaded class com.mycompany.MyClass$InnerEnum from Member [myhost]:5701 - cc0b2872-7f5b-484b-a40f-7c7ba1fdc165

So:
Node 2 is first trying to fetch and display an instance of MyClass$InnerEnum. It fetches the InnerEnum class definition from Node 1 over hazelcast.
Node 2 then tries to fetch and display an instance of MyClass. It fetches the MyClass class definition from Node 1.
Hazelcast then loops through the inner classes of MyClass (which just contains InnerEnum) and asks the class loader to define them without checking whether they already exist.
See (from Hazelcast 3.11.1)
com.hazelcast.internal.usercodedeployment.impl.ClassLocator:160
Map<String, byte[]> innerClassDefinitions = classData.getInnerClassDefinitions();
classSource.define(name, classData.getMainClassDefinition());
for (Map.Entry<String, byte[]> entry : innerClassDefinitions.entrySet()) {
classSource.define(entry.getKey(), entry.getValue());
}
The easiest solution in our case was to pull InnerEnum out as a top level Enum.
Try creating the EntryProcessor as a static or a top level class and pass the item explicitly in its constructor. That hopefully should resolve the issue.
The JVM can get a little tricky with dynamic class loading, which is what is done by UserCodeDeployment.
I'm trying to mediate Facebook Audience Network via MoPub but I don't have any native ads setup. I only want to mediate banner and interstitial ads. In the MoPub documentation there's no instruction for banner and interstitial ads, only native and native banner ads.
So, I went ahead and simply added:
implementation 'com.mopub.mediation:facebookaudiencenetwork:5.5.0.8'
implementation 'com.android.support:support-annotations:28.0.0'
implementation 'com.facebook.android:audience-network-sdk:5.6.0'
to my app: build.gradle
then I initialized the Audience Network SDK inside onCreate method.
AudienceNetworkAds.initialize(this);
Then I created a HashMap:
Map<String, String> facebookConfig = new HashMap<>();
facebookConfig.put("banner", "");
facebookConfig.put("interstitial", "”);
and passed the hashmap to sdkconfiguration mediation settings:
SdkConfiguration sdkConfiguration = new SdkConfiguration.Builder("AD_UNIT_ID");
sdkConfiguration.withMediatedNetworkConfiguration(FacebookAdapterConfiguration.class.getName(), facebookConfig);
sdkConfiguration.withLegitimateInterestAllowed(false).build();
What am I missing here?

Ok, this is my first time using Javafx and Scene Builder but I've run into a problem I can't find a solution for.
Basically, I'm making an app which includes a settings tab in which the user can change the colour theme of the app (i.e a light theme with light coloured background, buttons, tabs, textfields, etc) using radioButtons. So if the user clicks on the "light" radioButton, it should load the "light" css file, if "dark" radioButton is selected, it should change to use the "dark" css file, etc.
In the controller class I have the following:
#FXML
RadioButton rbtnLight;
#FXML
public void colourThemeLight(javafx.event.ActionEvent event)
{
if (rbtnLight.isSelected() == true)
{
System.out.println("I'm the chosen button");
//I'm using println at the moment to test that it's actually recognizing the action performed
}
}
#FXML
RadioButton rbtnDark;
#FXML
public void colourThemeDark(javafx.event.ActionEvent event)
{
if (rbtnDark.isSelected() == true)
{
System.out.println("I'm the other chosen button");
//Again, I'm using println at the moment to test that it's actually recognizing the action performed
}
}
But it gives a 'RuntimeException: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException'
caused by a NullPointerException at the if (rbtnLight.isSelected() = true) and the if (rbtnLight.isSelected() = true statements.
I've also tried using the rbtnLight.isDisabled() == false and .isPressed() == true however both give the same error.
Alternatively, I've tried if (event.getSource() == rbtnTLightS) but that does nothing, literally. No errors, but no message either.
In Scene Builder, I have loaded the style sheets to the main windows, not the individual radioButtons in the settings tab.
(Almost done...)
If and when that does get working, how would I get the right css file loaded? I have one method I've found which is the following:
File file = new File("path");
String css1 = file.toString();
mainS.getStyleClass().add(css1); //mainS being the main screen in sceneBuilder which everything is placed on
But I'm skeptical whether or not that would work.
Any and all help would be much appreciated. Sorry for the essay :)

Would the method I posted about loading a different css file work?
No.
mainS.getStyleClass().add(css1);
will not work, since getStyleClass() accepts the CSS selectors defined in CSS style sheet file, and not its path or name.
It should be
mainS.getStyleSheets().add(css1);
See this example of changing css at runtime.
I am trying to call a simple public Web Service with WSClient in a Groovy script, but it explodes when initializing ...
TestService.groovy:
#Grab(group='org.codehaus.groovy.modules', module='groovyws', version='0.5.2')
import groovyx.net.ws.WSClient
def proxy = new WSClient("http://www.w3schools.com/webservices/tempconvert.asmx?WSDL", this.class.classLoader)
proxy.initialize();
def result = proxy.CelsiusToFahrenheit(0)
println "You are probably freezing at ${result} degrees Farhenheit"
The error message:
SEVERE: Could not compile java files for http://www.w3schools.com/webservices/tempconvert.asmx?WSDL.

Any hint? Why should I have a jaxb.index?
Just discovered that the problem occurs with Java 1.7 (jdk1.7.0_21)... it's OK when running with Java 6 (jdk1.6.0_31)
Any hint to work with Java 7?
As noted on the GroovyWS page, GroovyWS is currently dormant. You could do the same thing (albeit with a wordier syntax) using the groovy-wslite library:
#Grab(group='com.github.groovy-wslite', module='groovy-wslite', version='0.8.0')
import wslite.soap.*
def client = new SOAPClient('http://www.w3schools.com/webservices/tempconvert.asmx')
def response = client.send(SOAPAction:'http://tempuri.org/CelsiusToFahrenheit') {
body {
CelsiusToFahrenheit('xmlns':'http://tempuri.org/') {
Celsius('0')
}
}
}
def result = response.CelsiusToFahrenheitResponse.CelsiusToFahrenheitResult.text()
println "You are probably freezing at ${result} degrees Farhenheit"
Note that this requires you to look at the WSDL to get the SOAP message namespace, unlike the GroovyWS version of the code. But it works!
I want to create gradle custom task. The problem is that sometimes when I change something in source code, gradle shows error that in my code is error with that non existing code. For example I've created local variable timestamp and compiled project. Everything worked fine. But later I changed that variable to final ... TIMESTAMP. After that change gradle shows me error Could not find property 'timestamp'.... How to solve this problem? I assume that gradle has got cache?
Code
class MyCustomTask extends DefaultTask {
private final String TIMESTAMP = System.currentTimeMillis().toString()
public MyCustomTask() {
}
#TaskAction
def build() {
// do something
}
}
