How to get the latest Openbravo ERP to work? Unable to find a starting point - openbravo

Introduction I've been searching for a while now, but unable to find proper support for community edition of OpenBravo. The wiki is present but seems to be outdated, having pages updated in 2018 linking to old pages dated 2011 that seem to irrelevant now, missing downloads etc.
The page
http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Installation/Appliance/ISO
refers to a download page having openbravo-3.0PR18Q4.2-amd64.iso.
This page is dated November 2018 and states that the version of this ISO will be available in two months (at the time of writing this question 4 months have passed.)
The download link is
http://www.openbravo.com/content/download-openbravo-3-community-edition which redirects to http://www.openbravo.com/community/
and this page doesn't have any downloads.
Also on this Community page, at the bottom if we want to get information http://forums.openbravo.com
this link shows an Forbidden error, and I can't find a way to signup if any account is needed.
Though I was able to download the ISO from
https://sourceforge.net/projects/openbravo/files/01-openbravo-appliances/3.0PR18Q3.5/
But this seems to be an old version, while running it over VMWare player, I'm unable find any signs of pre-installed dependencies needed for OpenBravo.
Now my goal is to make it from source. The repository location I've found it https://code.openbravo.com/erp/stable and the latest date I see here is from 2015. Please do mention if you happen to know where the latest repository is.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Use http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/Installation/Custom to setup the instance.
Here http://code.openbravo.com/erp/devel/main latest version can be found.

Looking for the 'Mastering XPages' supporting applications

The supporting applications used to be at www.ibmpressbooks.com/title/9780133373370. But since IBM sold Notes, it is no longer there. Does anyone know where I can download these Chp??Ed2.nsf files?
You can still download from the book page at https://www.informit.com/store/mastering-xpages-a-step-by-step-guide-to-xpages-application-9780133373370. The download links to https://www.informit.com/content/images/9780133373370/downloads/9780133373370_Code-Samples.zip which still works. The zip contains 25 files.

Support for Kendo-Angular-UI and Kendo-Angular-Develop

We are considering integrating Kendo-Angular-UI and using its components. How well supported is Kendo-Angular-UI?
There is a lot of functionality present in Kendo-Angular-UI-Develop, that is not present in Kendo-Angular-UI. While the road-map discusses the plan for introducing newer components, it does not mention if/when newly added functionality for existing components will be available and supported. Does anyone know where I can find this information?
For example, the "collapseChanged" event for a SplitterPane component is only shown as a part of Kendo-Angular-UI-Develop. When will this be available as a part of Kendo-Angular-UI?
I am following/using Kendo UI for Angular from the very beginning. And I use Kendo UI for several years (for jQuery before and for Angular now). There is official release page and there is development page as you already figure it out.
Everything you see in development page will sooner or later be released on release page. From my experience this means from a few days to maybe a week, 2 weeks on rare occasion. You can get version from development with -dev on npm.
Details about your specific example are here.
Road-map is just a helper for developers when we can expect first official release for components mentioned in roadmap. But pre-releases are available much sooner on developement portal.
So in short, development is pre-release, and all features in most cases are officially released in a matter of days.

jsf4birt: Is exadel.org dead?

I want to test jsf4birt in my web application. The tutorial at the actuate website tells me to download the jsf4birt Library at exadel.org but exadel.org is not available at all.
Does anyone know, if the jsf4birt project is continued in any way - and where - or is the project not supported anymore?
Cheers, Chris
Last working archive of their website dates back to 2014-03-26. Either way, seems like jsf4birt only supported up to JSF 1.2. Project seems to be discontinued.

Anyone using InnerActive Ads - and how?

I saw the commercial library for iAd's from Monte but he isn't developping it anylonger due to the coming of InnerActive Ads in Livecode, right? So, I have created an InnerActive account and tried the only lesson I found on Livecode Lessons. That didn't work. So I posted a comment there which is awaiting moderation for quite some time now. I also mailed Inneractive, got a ticket replied, but no answer from them either.
If anyone has Ads with Inneractive running please tell/show us how you did it. I am calling mobileAdRegister with my appID and that seems okay. Then I try mobileAdCreate and mobileAdSetTopVisible and 'the result' tells me 'could not create ad'.
Dictionairy then tells me the app does not have Internet permissions or the registered app key is not valid. But I do check for internet connection and I'm sure I'm using my valid appID..
Regards, Amsterfrank
I have tested ads in the current release of LiveCode and they do indeed seem to be broken.
The LiveCode quality control team is aware of this and are currently investigating what could be the cause of this. A report on this issue can be viewed here-
http://quality.runrev.com/show_bug.cgi?id=11224
A workaround for now is to use an older version of LiveCode. After running a few tests, the last version of LiveCode that does not exhibit the mobile ad bug is LiveCode 6.0.0. This is available to download from here-
http://downloads.livecode.com/livecode/
With that being said, I would recommend holding off until the issue is resolved in a more current releases as there have been many bug/enhancements to LiveCode since 6.0.0

Google Documents: Is it possible to replace a shared file?

I would like to have students send me some Stata (.do) code by sharing it with me on Google Docs.
Is it possible to replace the shared with an updated version?
I don't see any option to do that in the File menu, just renaming and editing the file description.
Google Docs works well to share and correct papers, but I'm finding it difficult to share and correct anything else. Thanks for any help!
You can upload multiple versions of the same file. All the versions will be available for review later. To upload a new version, Just click on manage revisions (from where you are in your image) and a dialog will appear. Click on "upload new revision" and navigate to your updated file.
I believe gmail now let's you attach/share updated files to email via Google Drive, and it always keeps the most up-to-date version available. So you can simply update your .do file on your desktop, keep the updated version on your Google Drive, and your students should get them.

You can also consider Google Code (http://code.google.com; if you have a gmail account, you also have the Code account, or at least you can transparently create one from the main Google account), and work with your code using the standard code sharing, development and maintenance tools like Mercurial and its various interfaces. I have developed Stata code pretty much professionally, trust me that this is a much better tool than Google Docs (and any other real programmer here on SO would confirm that).
