Getting error on angular CLI isntallation - node.js

I am trying to install angular/cli on my windows10 64-bit machine, But I am getting the following error:
npm ERR! code ENOGIT
npm ERR! Error while executing:
npm ERR! undefined ls-remote -h -t ssh://git#github.com/angular/cli.git
npm ERR!

I am trying to execute the following command:
npm install -g angular/cli
Following are the specifications:
node --version
v10.15.1
npm --version
6.4.1
Things tried till now as suggested in different posts and forums:
Tried running command prompt as Administrator
Setting the network settings(set https-proxy and proxy).
npm cache clean --force
I don't have git installed on my machine, but is it necessary and mandatory?
I have installed angular previously also(Angular 4) but at that time everything was fine.
Need help.

You should install #angular/cli (note the #)
npm i #angular/cli
This one does not require git to be installed.
I have to admit that this naming is confusing.

Installing dependencies with npm-peer-dependencies

I am trying to install the required node_modules for a small project running Angular 11 using npm install
My goal is get the project to work locally after downloading it from GitHub. I have already installed the latest version of the Angular CLI.
After running the install command I tried npm start.
I was expecting that after running the install and start command to be able to run the project locally.
However the actual result I get after running the install command is the following list of errors:
> ng serve
An unhandled exception occurred: Cannot find module '#angular/compiler'

The problem is that this Angular project also has peer dependencies. I installed npm-install-peers package but it seems that simply running npm install afterwards will not install the required peer dependencies.
What should I do next to get this Angular project installed locally ?
The issue you are facing is likely because angular cli or npm-peer-dependencies are not installed globally on your machine.
The steps that you should take are to make sure of them are globally installed.
To install packages globally you need run npm install -g <package_name>
npm docs link
In your case for angular cli you should run
npm i -g #angular/cli#11.2.15 and npm install -g npm-peer-dependencies.
Then run npm start.

npm ERR while installing ionic

I am on Windows 10 trying to install Ionic. I ran the following code in the terminal:

And I get this error:

I have ran the following commands to debug:
npm uninstall -g ionic
npm install -g #ionic/cli
npm install -g cordova #ionic/cli
and much more for over a week now.
I copied and paste this path in windows
C:\Users\Lari\AppData\Roaming\npm\ionic
Deleted all ionic folders, and then this path
C:\Users\Lari\AppData\Roaming\npm
Deleted some ionic files present as well.
Ran npm I -g #ionic/cli and it did install version 6.11.0.
Thanks everyone, hope it helps someone

npm install always gives 'Your cache folder contains root-owned files, due to a bug in npm previous versions of npm which has since been addressed.'

I am currently using Ubuntu 18.04.4 and I am trying to install something using npm install but it always gives the error below. I tried other aliases as well (npm i, npm add) but the error persists.
npm install

When I run the sudo chown -R 1001:1001 "/home/dell/.npm" command, it does nothing, and the error remains when I run npm install again. I have also searched StackOverflow and other platforms for the answer, but no solution seems to solve this problem.
P.S: My node version is 12.18.3 and npm version is 6.14.6.
If someone can help me resolve this, I would really appreciate it!
I had problem with create-react-app. Solve it using yarn.
yarn global remove create-react-app
then
yarn global add create-react-app
and
create-react-app MyApp

How to fix this Error -npm

I tried to install npm and I got the following error.
I already removed npm and reinstall it again, but I again got the following error:

How can I fix this?
On ubuntu 18.04 following steps saved me
To remove the distro-stable version, type the following:
sudo apt remove nodejs
This command will remove the package and retain the configuration files.
sudo apt purge nodejs
As a final step, you can remove any unused packages that were automatically installed with the removed package:
sudo apt autoremove
Refresh your local package index by typing:
sudo apt update
Enable the NodeSource repository by running the following command
(optinal) If you need to install another version, for example 14.x, just change setup_12.x with setup_14.x
curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_12.x | sudo -E bash -
Once the NodeSource repository is enabled, install Node.js and npm by typing:
sudo apt install nodejs
Verify that the Node.js and npm were successfully installed by printing their versions:
node --version (v12.18.4)
npm --version (6.14.6)
It seems to me that you're running a newer version of Node, but an outdated version of NPM.
You can do either of the following:
Try the latest stable version of NPM:
You can upgrade to the latest version of npm using: npm install -g npm#latest
Uninstall Node form your machine completely, go to their website and install the latest stable Node version. NPM comes with it.
I faced this issue too today and the problem was caused by an upgrade in my node and npm version. Guess my project dependencies were still running on older versions of node and npm
I fixed it by deleting the node_modules folder and run
npm install
I hope this helps
This looks like a permissions issue in your home directory. To reclaim ownership of the .npm directory execute:
sudo chown -R $(whoami) ~/.npm
Check the updates of dependencies
npm outdate
Run the next command to update dependencies
npm update
Remove the path folder directory C:\Users\ACER\AppData\Local**\npm-cache_logs\2021-12-29T13_41_22_984Z-debug-0.log**
and then run this command in your CLI npm install -g npm#latest
this works with you

unable to install firebase tools cli using windows 10

Hi i unable to install the firebase tools via commandline in the windows
im using this below command
npm install -g firebase-tools
after entering this command i m getting this below error

Latest version seems to have a problem.
Try installing one previous version:
npm i -g firebase-tools#v3.17.2
UPDATE:
Before doing so, it might be better to uninstall faulty one:
npm uninstall -g firebase-tools
also make sure you have windows-build-tools installed (though I have it on my machines, error you share doesn't really seem to be related to this)
npm --add-python-to-path='true' --debug install --global windows-build-tools
UPDATE 2
I've updated my Node & NPM versions and then to latest Firebase Tools.
Still getting WARN optional SKIPPING OPTIONAL DEPENDENCY: Exit status 1 error, but since it's a warning, I've decided to give it a try. So far no problems.
UPDATE 3
windows-build-tools package got an update yesterday so I installed it with hope it solves problems installing latest version of firebase-tools. It did not, same errors occur.
Actually you can try installing the
npm i -g firebase-tools#v3.16.0 version and try to install the
npm install windows-build-tools**in your local folder and after that install
**npm install node-gyp in your local folder and before doing all these try to disable your antivirus
