Local install GitLab Pages - 404

I have a local installation of Gitlab-ce and I have enabled gitlab-pages using the simplest setup.
Added an A record to point to the server running Gitlab
edited /etc/gitlab/gitlab.rb to contain pages_external_url 'http://gitlab.mydomain.com'
reconfigure
However, when I visit the link after deploying pages I get a 404 page.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Xampp page is accessible by network from everyone with security enabled

I have installed lampp server on Linux Mint on my desktop and I have run the script to secure the lampp server with success.
Everything is fine and I can access my sites from the home network specifically from my laptop using Windows 7 using http://192.168.1.2/site.
However I can also access the lampp pages http://192.168.1.2/xampp from my laptop although I should't. It should ask me for the login details.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Finally found what the problem was.
In /opt/lampp/etc/extra/httpd-xampp-conf file I had put Require all granted instead of Allow from all.
<LocationMatch "^/(?i:(?:xampp|security|licenses|phpmyadmin|webalizer|server-status|server-info))">
Allow from all

Magento: Moving Files and Database from windows to linux (Ubuntu)

I have stuck in a problem and have been trying to resolve it for last five days but could not get success up till now. Please help me out...
I have moved all the files and database one of my magento's project from my PC (running windows 7) to laptop (running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS).
- I installed xampp and import the database (Successfully imported)
- Made a virtual host (running fine)
- But as soon as moved my project files in vitualhost folder, it continuously redirecting to http://mylocalhost.local/downloader and throwing "Access Forbidden ERROR 403".
System.log of my magento's project is full of such type of errors
Warning:implexml_load_string():in E:\virtualhosts\myproject\app\code\core\Mage\Core\Model\Layout\Update.php on line 444
Please help me out...
please check the files under www/yourDomain.com/public:
1. permissions of files. should be : 0755
2. group of files : www-data
and then restart apache:
sudo service apache2 restart

Linux - Installed Nagios but getting Forbidden 403 error

I have installed nagios successfully on fedora 17. but when I am trying to connect to nagios like http://mylocalhost.com/nagios. It asks for username and password. After putting these information I am found out forbidden 403 error with message , You dont have permission to access /nagios/ on this server.
I am bit confused how to resolve this issue. I read some post. they were saying to create empty index.html inside http root directory. i tried but same error is there.
http://www.unixmen.com/nagios-http-warning-http11-403-forbidden-solved/
If I am not wrong http root directory is /var/www/html?
oops ... sorry it was problem with my httpd service which was running actually but not accessible for publicly.
simply I flushed out iptables. then Checked out httpd service whether it is running properly or not.
Now its working great.
I think you create file index.html in /var/www/html.
After you can restart service nagios and httpd

PhpMyAdmin 3.5.6 gives HTTP Error 403 in Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6

MySQL is installed properly.
But PhpMyAdmin 3.5.6 gives HTTP Error 403 when try to access it in browser by following way.
http://localhost/phpmyadmin356
OR
http://192.168.11.22/phpmyadmin356
phpmyadmin356 folder is under inetput >> wwwroot.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
I went through this guide. http://dpotter.net/technical/2009/03/installing-phpmyadmin-on-windows-and-iis-60/
Thank you,
Probably your permissions aren't set correctly for the phpmyadmin356 directory and/or files within that folder. You probably need, at a minimum, read permissions for IUSR and IIS_USERS.
