at the same time the certificate i created for my samsung tv in CF MANAGER should work for my Emulator also?
My questions are:
Why taking so long for pushing the app to the remote tv? what im doing wrong?
Should i create two different certificate one for TV and one for emulator?
Please respond if you have experienced the same. I would otherwise not have other solutions than reset my MAC and start all over again.
PS: friendly advice: IF you ever see a button with the text "Updates available" STAY AWAY
Uninstalled Tizen Studio and installed all over again.
I want to upload files in HoloLens with Windows Device Portal. According to the documentation on using the Windows Device Portal, I should be able to "Use the file explorer to browse, upload, and download files". Nevertheless, in the File Explorer section of Windows Device Portal, I can't see any option to upload files, but I can only browse or download files. Can anyone give a hint on how to upload files?
Nevertheless, in the File Explorer section of Windows Device Portal, I can't see any option to upload files, but I can only browse or download files
Please aware that not all folders have the file uploading permission, not sure which folder path you are accessing. As a test, if you go to the Documents folder, normally you should see the Upload button as below:
If you really can't see the button, you can check the following things:
The HoloLens OS version and browser. We have ever seen the compatibility issue on several browsers running previous HoloLens OS version, I would suggest you trying Microsoft Edge and upgrading OS to the latest version. Check out this release note
Policy Restriction on Device. Some group policy may impose restrictions on device, you may need to check with IT team in this case.
I tried to download an android image in android studio but it keeps giving me this error.
This is due to slow internet speed. The error is Read Time out. Try to stop everything else on the internet then again download it or use 3g or 4g data package on your sim, connect your system through the hotspot and then download, it will give you a great speed.
I have a device running Android 6.0.1 and I'm working with Android Studio 2.3.3 on a Mac. When I try to install/run my application (hello world) I get this message.
com.android.ddmlib.AdbCommandRejectedException: device unauthorized.
This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set
Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.
Error while Installing APK
I know questions like this have been asked all over this site and I have looked though most of them and followed these suggestions
Turn everything off and on a few times
Ensure USB debugging in enabled in developer settings
Stop and start the adb server
Try a different deployment target, virtual devices work fine
My current theory is that my device is not authorized either because my device is not a phone/tablet/watch, it is just a SOM and carrier board.
My only other thought is that this is caused by the device being offline.
When I am selecting a deployment target I can see my device but it says [OFFLINE] beside it and it is slightly greyed out. I don't fully understand what this means given my device is connected the same network as my Mac they can ping each other.
So my question comes down to this
What other troubleshooting can I try?
Is it relevant that my device is offline/ what does that mean/ how can I go online?
The issue was with the .img file I used when getting the OS running on my device. I reinstalled the OS and everything worked after that.
Azure offers a pre-installed Windows Server 2016 DataCenter, but so far I wasn't able to activate remote audio recording on this machine.
All guides I found say that the "Desktop experience" feature has to be installed, but there is no such feature in the Server 2016 feature list.
The Windows audio service is running, audio recording is being configured inside the .rdp file, but I only get Remoteaudio playback.
What do I have to do to activate remoteaudio recording on this machine?
TIA
I just got my problem resolved with the help of Microsoft Azure support.
The .rdp file you can download from Azure when you try to connect to the virtual machine contains the setting
administrative session:i:1
This is equivalent to calling mstsc with the /admin switch.
In this mode, the microphone is not being mapped.
After changing the 1 to 0, microphone redirection worked immediately.
So for reference purpose here are the complete requirements you need to get audio recording inside an RDP session:
Remote Desktop Session Host role is installed
On a server < 2016, the Desktop Experience feature is installed. Windows Server 2016 already contains this feature (unless you have a core installation, of course)
You're either still inside the grace period OR have the Remote Desktop Licensing role installed and a valid CAL
The remote desktop group policy allows audio recording
The .rdp file contains audiocapturemode:i:1 ("Record audio from this machine" is checked)
The RDP session has NOT been started as an admin session (using /admin or the administrative session:i:1 entry)
With these settings, audio playback and recording should work inside an RDP session.
