Bixby Studio "Update failed" on Mac - bixby

I get a "New Update Available" message when I open Bixby Studio. It's trying to upgrade from 6.5.0-rc.6439 to 6.6.1-r19c.6695 but returns the following message in the lower right corner of the interface:
"Update failed. Please re-install from bixbydevelopers.com"
I get this message even when I download the latest version off of the website mentioned in the error message. I'm using Mac Sierra v10.12.6.
Does anyone know how to successfully install the latest version of Bixby Studio?

Delete the existing version of your Bixby (from Applications) and download the new version from bixbydevelopers.com

Solved by restarting my machine and installing an os update. Not sure which was the relevant fix. Thanks for the assistance BixbyDevSupportOne.

Vuzix sdk loading error cvc-elt.1.a cannot find the declaration of element 'sdk: sdk-addon'

I am trying to load the SDK for Vuzix through the SDK manager in Android Studio but for some reason it will not display the downloads in 'SDK platforms' and 'SDK tools'.
In the 'SDK update sites' tab next to the Vuzix link I added there is a red exclamation point that displays " cvc-elt.1.a cannot find the declaration of element 'sdk: sdk-addon' " when hovered over.
I am new to SDK's and have no idea what to do for this error. I've downloaded the android SDK's and sources for 26,25,24, and 23 thinking it could help but the error still shows up.
I still don't know what the error means but I solved it by connecting to my hotspot instead of my work network.
So my guess is it was a firewall issue or something, if anyone else has this error.
This means that the parser does not know the namespace. I tried it on Win7 and android studio 2.3.3 with the same result.
I tried it without the namespace or running android studio with oracle sdk. Both failed.
At the moment I try to run it on a virtual linux machine. Android Studio 2.3.3 will parse the addon xml file and download the files.
On Win7 I installed them manually, but they were not really integrated into to system and I stucked when I wanted to use the barcode SDK. maybe I am able some day to add simply this jar lib -
On a first look using linux seems to be the solution. But than I run into problems with the case sensitve file system. The vuzix SDK seems to need a linux system on a case insensitve file system.
*facepalm* and I am quite sure that i will fail at all. On linux a simple GUI compiles only against API 26 without errors.

AVD Manager Unknown Error

recently I tried to make an AVD in Android Studio. But I came across with "Unknown Error" under "Recommendations" section. I have no idea what's causing this since it doesn't give me any info. Anyone can help me with that?enter image description here
Edit: I haven't posted the idea.log which it had some things in it that I dont understand after failing to make an AVD:

You have to install all Intel Image Library and Google API for your desired API. Go to your SDK Manager and check intel system images is installed or not if not then you have to installed it as well install Google API Library.

We found a pre-release version of Office error

I just wiped my machine and did a fresh install of Windows 8 and updated it to Windows 8.1.
I am trying to install Office Professional 2013 and I am getting this error:
We found a pre-release or Beta version of an Office product on your
computer and can't install because of it. Please uninstall any
pre-release Office software using the Programs and features item in
the Control Panel and try installing again.
The thing is, this is the first time I've tried to install office since wiping the hard-drive and re-installing Windows. So there is no Pre-release or Beta version installed. The only software I have installed since the machine was wiped, is Windows, Visual Studio 2012 and Kaspersky Internet security.
I downloaded the Microsoft Fix It tool and it is also throwing an error when I attempt to run it saying
The program encountered an error trying to contact the server
Has anyone encountered this or know how to fix it?
So I got this sorted in the end.
I downloaded the Office FixIt tool which Uninstalled office. I think what happened was the first attempt to install Office failed for some reason, so when I went to re-run it, it thought I had a version already installed.
I deleted the temporary internet files through the Settings, Options, menu in Internet Explorer.
I downloaded the Office click to run.exe again but saved it as a different filename. I just called it office.exe.
Ran the office.exe file I downloaded in Step 3 and it worked, although the installation was very slow.
For some reason my download speeds from Microsoft today seem very slow, not sure if that had something to do with it.
Anyway Office is installed now.

How to Uninstall Nokia Connectivity Framework (NCF?) - Cannot Install Nokia SDK 1.0 for Java

My first attempt at installing Nokia SDK 1.0 for Java failed due to Avira AntiVir detected a malware on it, so I had to "ignore" the Malware and cancel the installation (which it seemed to not undoing it properly) and restart installation.
However the next installation failed while giving the following message:
Nokia Connectivity Framework(NCF) is already installed. Please uninstall NCF and press 'Ok' to proceed with installation.
At this point I am stuck. I've deleted the C:\Nokia\Tools folder entirely, and I can't find the "Nokia Connectivity Framework (NCF)" entry on "Add Remove Programs. There's not even a Cancel button (to close the installer) or Override button on this dialog box. Quite annoying. :-(
If you have a solution for this problem, please help.
(originally blogged at http://qt-mobile.posterous.com/how-to-uninstall-nokia-connectivity-framework )
I used regedit.exe to find key :
Connectivity_Framework
You will find something like :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Nokia\Connectivity_Framework
Change it to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Nokia\Connectivity_Framework_no_longer
(you can undo by renaming it back, if needed)
Then just press ok, or try installing again.
I have done this on 2 computers : one running vista and the other running windows 7.

Aptana 3.0.3 Web Browser Crashes when loading localhost site (repeatable)?

I was programming a web site and tried to load it into the embedded web browser within Aptana 3.0.3, but each time I loaded it, the program crashes/closes and give the standard "let Apple know about this". I am running iMac OSX 10.7 (Lion).
Tried that... when I do "Check for Updates" I get "No updates found" but with the following error:
No repository found at http://quantum.sourceforge.net/update-site/plugins/.
There doesn't seem to be any kind of page to resolve this issue.
I can't find 3.0.4 anywhere to download either.
Please advise!
Update to 3.0.4. The issue should be fixed there.
