In scopus search it is possible to use the doi:
DOI(103/4fu49)
How is it possible to include multiple dois into the same query?
You have to go to "Advanced Search" in Scopus. You can search for multiple DOIs like this:
DOI("doi1") OR ("doi2") OR...
Although its an old question, maybe helps someone.

Suppose I am searching using one of the cts:query API's. I am looking for documents containing the phrase "John and Jane". Some of my documents have "John & Jane"(actually John & Jane) in them. I want them to be returned as well. Also consider reverse situation.
Does Marklogic provide any options to do that?
Queries expressed as cts:query items or XML are easy to rewrite with XQuery typeswitch expressions. The discussion list thread at http://markmail.org/message/6hxmuqnpnfm73j4n has an example of something similar.
Mike gives a good suggestion, but it might be worth to take a step back and look at your problem first. From your comment on Mike's answer I take it that you look for something like thesaurus expansion, but for the 'and' and '&' instead of the other words.
I may be wrong, but to my knowledge MarkLogic doesn't provide features to take care of something like that automatically. Functions like search:search and search:parse are powerfull, but don't go that far. You are up to your own to take a search string like yours, break it into parts manually to wrap it in a cts:query, or use something like search:parse for that, and then pull tricks like that of Mike to walk through your query-tree, and expand any particular search query node you would like to expand in a particular way.
The markmail thread to which Mike points, gives an example of how to walk a query-tree, and manipulate it. A little heavy for this particular case, but there is a thesaurus module that can help in various general cases. The following chapter of the Search Dev Guide explains its features, and ends with a small example of how to apply it:

HTH!
Assume your term to search is "John & Jane"
In order to Search above word ,you can use following line
let $inputSearchDetails ="John & Jane"
let $InputXML := xdmp:unquote($inputSearchDetails, "", ("format-xml", "repair-full"))
I currently have a normal SharePoint list with about 15 columns or so. I need one of the columns to have a list of links. I know SharePoint lets you have 1 link and it also lets you have multiple lines of text... So I thought it would be there as an option, but no such luck. Anyone knows a solution for this? I wasn't able to find any info online, which doesn't happen often. I guess I wasn't looking for the right keywords? If anyone can point me into the right direction, it would be great!
Thanks

Maybe a multiplelines text field, and configured it to be Enhaced Rich Text enable. It would allow you to insert your links as in a HTML page (it would be the same as to use a CEWQ)
We have a custom filed CALLed Document Link Field that enabled you to link multiple documents to a list item, maybe this is what yuo are looking for. In any case either you need a custom field, or use a multiple lines of text

When I have to use KeywordSearchQuery, when should I use FullTextSearchQuery and when should I use Query in developing the search part in Visual Studio for a Sharepoint site?
I want to search information from Contact list. If any keyword is put in the search box, I wan related information in our own specified format. Which technique should I use?
I think it depends on the situation. In your case, since you are searching a Contacts list, I would recommend using a regular CAML and SPQuery.
In general:
One list, use a CAML query
Many lists, use search
3rd Drupal question in a day.. guess what I'm doing!
OK, I've got the default Drupal search block, but I really need to find a way of restricting it to just searching one particular content type which is called "recipes" (guess what that one contains!)
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can restrict the search and then go about controlling the output display?
Thanks!
You can use the Search config module. If this module does not your work you should also look at this page: http://www.drupalmodules.com. Just type in "search" and you can find a few search plugins with descriptions.
I recommend the Finder module, which works well with CCK and filters and is straightforward to theme.
You could be interested in trying Faceted Search, which add a series of blocs to filter the results returned by the search module. There are many other modules which are related (see Projects related with Faceted Search).
after years navigating seas of unorganized documents, I'm starting to look for a cheap/free way to classify our work docs structurally, in order to tidy things up and to better enforce the workflow.. So I'd like to be able to tag documents according to project, customer, components used etc..
For example, imagine these documents:
"Business requirements", tags: projectX
"Project layout", tags: projectX, appserverZ
"Class diagram", tags: projectX, businesslogic
"Quotation", tags: projectX, customerY
...and so on..
In this way I could filter the documents by their tags, so e.g. get all the docs for a given project, or all the quotations for a given customer, or all the projects using a given application server..
Something like M-files would be perfect, but I'd prefer a Linux-based solution.. :) (even not web-based if it's possible)
I spent all the day trying out DMSes found on Freshmeat and Wikipedia, but I couldn't find one that worked like M-files.. :/
I'd appreciate any hint/pointer, many thanks!
Lucene is a great development tool, but if you prefer something that will work out of the box Alfresco would work, but it's probably over kill. One of these will likely work as well.
Sounds like you might be looking for something like Lucene, combined with some metadata.
