How to post on Instagram via E-Mail? - instagram

I'm just wondering if there is some service out there, where I can send an e-mail to with an image attached and that service posts this image to my Instagram account?

If you check out the API endpoints you can see that they are quite limited. Facebook made changes to Instagram's API last summer which did away with lots of features; having an endpoint for posting may have been one of them. Either way, it is no longer around, and seeing as Facebook does not want to encourage using their services outside of their own sites and apps, it is unlikely you'd be able to find the service you are looking for.

How can I get instagram Direct Messages

I was working on Facebook Graph api and created a website on react that sends and receives messages from my business page which is connected it to my business account. Now I want to to the same for the Instagram Direct Messages but I couldn't find any resources and the developers.facebook docs was really confusing. I don't know what to use, if you know any tutorial video or documentation it would be really helpful.

Instagram official public_content API vs unofficial JSON API

It seems that Instagram has two means of scraping public data. There is the official API for which you need to get an API key and permissions, as described in the guide https://www.instagram.com/developer/ For a tag-specific search, the official API uses the endpoint:
https://api.instagram.com/v1/tags/{tag-name}?access_token=ACCESS-TOKEN
But it also seems that many people are scraping Instagram by using a different public API (which I think is the one accessed by the front-end of the website). This "unofficial" API uses the endpoint:
https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/{tag-name}/?__a=1
I cannot find any information regarding support for the "unofficial" version. Does anybody know what limitations may exist on this API? If this method of retrieving data satisfies the requirements of our application, is there any reason we should still engage the rigorous API token review process to get our application approved for "official" API public_content permissions?
As far as I know
Does anybody know what limitations may exist on this API?
It is a direct violation of Instagram terms of use as in here
10.We prohibit crawling, scraping, caching or otherwise accessing any content on the Service via automated means, including but not
limited
to, user profiles and photos (except as may be the result of standard
search engine protocols or technologies used by a search engine with
Instagram's express consent).
And as a developer there is no grantee that these API remain
unchanged. so you probably experiencing system fail and be forced to
re develop parts of your code times to time.
Also it worth mentioning that users won't easily give you username
and passwords of their account, as the public API just requires
confirmation to access limited account resources.

review process to get our application approved for "official" API
public_content permissions?
Same as a bow

Instagram API review submission - complete app needed?

I just noticed that new Instagram API's sandbox has too many restrictions and I would need to submit review to build my app. I googled to see if there's a way around but looks like using their API would be better than anything.
The app I was going to build requires all the API endpoints that Instagram doesn't allow Sandbox users to access (such as hashtag search and get recent tags). Do I just build one assuming I can get responses from the endpoints? I am pretty confused. Anything would help. Thanks!
You think you have two options:
Since, instagram allows you get the contents from the user's in the sandbox mode.
Create an App using link and submit for review to get experience with public data available in instagram.

Process of going live of an Instagram App

I'm just working on a Node.js project which uses Instagram API to boost up users likes/comments & follower numbers by focusing on user specific tags and automatically create organic bonds between users with liking and commenting. Or you can call this shortly as a Instagram bot.
However, the rate and user limits of the Instagram API made me curios about some stuff.
Firstly, the process for going live in Instagram looks so complex and toilsome so how the well-known Instagram BOTs (Archie, Instagress etc.) can made this ? Because I thought Instagram never accepted a usage for their API for this purpose and their Platform Policy is so strict that one can not hide their main purpose.
Secondly, even though app goes to live , the rate limit for endpoints used to publish (POST or DELETE) so limited that how these bots can work fluently without exceeding these limits even they have a lot of users ?
It would be best if anyone is experienced about Instagram API and the Instagram bots can answer there questions.
they develop it without official instagram API, they used private API that uses instagram mobile application. I developed instagram bot, I have it on my local server.

Get list or count of registered users for application

Using Instagram's API, is there any way to request a list or count of an application's registered users?
Instagram's real-time subscriptions can send notifications whenever a registered user posts to their feed, but I haven't found a way to get a list of those users, or even a count. This is easy enough to store server-side, but seems like something which should be discoverable.
Your Question
Using Instagram's API, is there any way to request a list of an application's registered users?
A quick search yielded no results for such a functionality. This make sense, though, since Instagram wouldn't want to open up all its users to any app designer.
Your App
If you want the number of users using your app, then you can easily track this yourself.
Instagram App
As mentioned before, Instagram probably won't provide even basic count information about its registered users. Presumably, this is valuable information.
Your Example
Instagram's real-time subscriptions can send notifications whenever a registered user posts to their feed...
This is true, but with very limited scope. The subscriptions below are based on users who are using your app or other simple criteria such as tags or geographic data.
Users: receive notifications when users who have registered with your application post new photos.
Tags: receive notifications when a new photo is tagged with tags of your choosing
Locations: receive notifications when new photos are posted and tagged with a specific location
Geographies: receive notifications when a new photos are posted in an arbitrary geographical location as defined by a center point
and radius
As far as I have found this far there is no IG API, however as already indicated you can keep track on your app. HOWEVER, what has not been pointed out is that you won't be made aware if users terminate their account or revoke your app so the count's might be a little off. (or worse if you didnt start keeping track since the public launch of your app)
You could test on a periodic basis if you still have access, but that would require additional code, and a lot of API calls if you app has a lot of users. I hope that IG will add this function at some point.
