I have Installed Android Studio in My Laptop. The configuration of my system is 4GB
RAM ad core i3 processor.
After installing the Android Studio as I have install Android Pie and try to run Android Virtual Device it gives me an Error. I have attached screenshot of it with this message please help me to resolve this problem

try to go Android Virtual Device Manager> create virtual device> choose a device> choose system image> then in emulated performance choose GLES 2.0.
Note: that it depends if this will work on your android studio. just try it.

I'm a new Android Studio user, but I've already done something in the last few days.
I have only a problem with the emulator. I tried to run my code with a normal Virtual Device, but every time I always got the same error:
Emulator: emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
Emulator: Process finished with exit code 1
I tried to find a solution in the internet, and I found that the problem was my computer (it is an AMD) and I had to download the "armeabi" version when I created a new virtual device.
It worked (I have no more errors), but my emulator is always black and I cannot see anything. I was forced to use Debug USB on my personal phone, to plug in and use it (and it works) but I'd like to solve the problem with the Android Studio emulator. My Android Studio version is 3.3.1, the latest.
Obviously when I have a preview clicking on the file "activity_main.xml" I can see the right output.
Normally I use Nexus 5 and I've tried with Marshmallow and Nougat.
Increase your VM Heap & try it again.
Tools -> Android -> AVD Manager.
Select a virtual device and click on its pencil icon (edit)
Click on Show Advanced Settings.
Under "Memory and Storage" change "VM Heap"
If above is not helpful, Please Check "Wipe user data" in the Launch Option
Go to Android Virtual Device Manager->Select your device->Start->Check "Wipe user data"->Launch
make sure that Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator is active
I can not open my emulator in android studio that i have created. i install lollipop platform in SDK and create same api level emulator. see the error log in bellow image. i have set 512 ram for virtual device.

I was able to use Emulator in the android studio without any problems. Since today I am getting the error as:
"Emulator: CPU acceleration status: Unable to open HAXM device: ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND".
Virtualization is enabled in BIOS, Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager is installed in control panel - programs.
Also tried installing intelhaxm-android.exe from android sdk folder.
Please help with the error.

I solved that problem following steps
disabling Hyper-v
reinstalling HAXM
- Android studio -> SDK Manager -> SDK Tools -> Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator
Use Hyper-V instead of HAXM
I had the same error. Disabling Hyper-V avoided this error however it also stopped Docker from working properly.
To use both the Android Emulator and Docker on Windows 10 you need to:
Uninstall the Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (HAXM)
Enable Hyper-V (check by running "Get-WindowsOptionalFeature -FeatureName Microsoft-Hyper-V-All -Online" in PowerShell running as Administrator)
Enable Windows Hypervisor Platform
Restart your computer
Enable Virtualization Technology in your computer's BIOS
Enable Hardware Enforced Data Execution Prevention in the BIOS
Enable Hyper-V and Windows Hypervisor Platform in Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off
Enable Windows Hypervisor
Microsoft recommends that you use Hyper-V instead of HAXM to accelerate the Android emulator (detailed instructions).
I had the same issue, and solved it by disabling the Hyper-V hypervisor on Windows (from the "Activate/Deactivate Windows Functionalities" menu).
1st you uninstall the hexm everywhere also in android studio :

You can disable hyper-v or you can visit here
You can't run a VM-accelerated emulator inside another VM, such as a VM hosted by VirtualBox, VMWare, or Docker. You must run the Android emulator directly on your system hardware
For me Hyper-V hypervisor was not installed but still I got the error. What I did was I went to SDK Manager->SDK Tools and there I unchecked Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator clicked apply. Closed my Android studio and then reopened Android studio and again went to SDK Manager->SDK Tools and installed Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator by checking the item and clicking apply. And it started working fine.
I had the same problem, but I need Hyper-V for Docker.
So according to the official documentation, you have 3 choices (the second solution helped me):
You have an Intel processor and do not need to run Hyper-V at the same time as the Android Emulator.
Use Intel HAXM.
You have an Intel processor and do need to run Hyper-V at the same time as the Android Emulator.
Use WHPX.
You have an AMD processor.
Use WHPX.

My Android Studio emulator is running in emulation mode instead of HAXM
even though RAM size in AVD and HAXM is same (1 GB). Here is a screenshot showing my situation:
Can someone explain how to make sure my emulator is running in the correct/best mode?
HAXM stands for Hardware Accelerated eXecution Manager. It's a technology that enables your Android Virtual Device (AVD), an emulator, to run faster under Windows. It does not change the fact that the AVD is an emulator (vs. a virtual machine like Genymotion or Android-x86).
From the log messages in your image attachment, it looks like you are all set. I see "HAXM is working..." there and I also see the AVD all booted up and good to go.
I develop android apps in my Windows 8 system with the help of Android Studio. Currently I test the apps using either Bluestacks or the android virtual device that is available in Android Studio. The AVD has virtual devices including Android 2.2, 2.3.3, 3.2, 4.0, 4.0.3, 4.1.2, and 4.4. Also Bluestacks runs on Android 4.1.2.
Recently I heard that Geny Motion is the fastest Android emulator. So I downloaded its newest version and installed it(also Virtual Box is installed). When I opened Geny Motion it said to add a virtual device. So I selected one device from the list and moved to next page. There it starts to download(a file of 147 MB). I can't download such a large file since my internet connection is too slow. Then I thought of using any of the virtual devices of either Bluestacks or Android Studio in Geny Motion. But I don't know whether its possible or not.
Can I use any of the virtual device of Bluestacks or Android Studio in Geny Motion ? If possible, how ?
Genymotion virtual devices are x86 virtual machines (VM) that run using VirtualBox. The Genymotion launcher is just a wrapper around VirtualBox that also simulates various things about an actual device like GPS, tilting, etc.
Bluestacks and the ARM devices you see under AVD are not virtual machines. They are emulators that translate ARM instructions to x86 and that is why they are slower. Note that an x86 AVD will be slightly better in terms of speed.
So the bottom line is that you cannot do what you are asking because AVDs and Bluestacks are fundamentally different technologies than Genymotion's VMs.
Maybe you could find a hotspot somewhere to download a few Genymotion virtual devices?
