I am not sure this question relates here but I seriously need to know how to have a backdrop and also a navigation bar at the same time on the same page. I tried to write the code but I am stuck at having two "body" in the same Scaffold

The animation when tapping the hamburger menu is working perfectly (though the css positioning is off, and needs to be fixed). But when the user taps one of the links in the nav (whether it is a new page or the page they are on), I want the animation in reverse (with either the current page or the new page, depending upon which link they press)

Any ideas on the one, or probably many things I am doing wrong?
Most of us saw the bottom bar in telegram , facebook messenger .. I think .
What i want to know " how is that bar still appear even if we go to another view ?
Thanks in advance .
After reading your comment I understand what you meant. You may want to learn about Fragments, and FragmentActivity. Basically, you would have multiple fragments for each button on the Bottom Navigation, meaning you would have multiple classes and layouts. Your activity's layout should have a container (above the bottom navigation, in a FrameLayout for example) on which you can attach your Fragment. When you hit a button on the bottom navigation, you switch fragments.
I don't really understand the question but I think you want to know how to use Bottom Navigation. You could use the same component in each layout and select a different item based on the layout. If it's in each layout it will appear on each view.
Am I thick or what? I have a view controller, and within that there is a UIWebView. When I run the app, the WebView covers the UIToolbar at the bottom and the UIButtons there, and so you cannot navigate away from the WebView. I cannot figure out how to change the WebView size or behaviour.
Unfortunately I do not have sufficient rep to post screenshots. The WebView displays an html file with text. The WebView partially covers the status bar at the top and completely covers the taskbar at the bottom. I can touch and drag the view up to see the taskbar and buttons at the bottom, but cannot use them.
I am using storyboard to build the app, and have done similar apps before without issue (in iOS6) but iOS7 appears to have thrown me a curveball.
I cannot see how to change the size in Xcode - or should I be looking at the html code in the file that the WebView is calling?
Oddly enough this is no longer an issue, I have not made any changes to code or config, and the only thing different is I upgraded my version of X-Code
I want to develop a panel with animation same as notification panel. I mean to say the notification panel is a cool control where you grab and slide down the notification bar and see all the notifications.
Actually, I am having 2 UI , 1st should be shown with Button at top, when user click on that button, the 2nd UI with listview items should be slide down same as notification panel and again when user click or drag the 2nd UI at the top side, then 2nd UI should be become invisible. I hope i made clear my question.
From Christian's answer, I am trying to use a sliding drawer that will display a
list of options. I need this to expand over the current ListView on the page.
So if anybody know how to implement such layout or UI with sliding down animation then please share it.
Please suggest how to build with such control or layout? any ideas or suggestions
Thanx
Have you tried the SlidingDrawer widget?
Paresh I found a solution in this post about sliding drawers.
android misc widgets has it implemented , though it still has some flaws but it will definitely prove helpful.
Though in the same SO post CommonsWare has quoted :
...
You similarly cannot make a
SlidingDrawer that descends from the
top.
Good Luck.
You can use SlidingTray from: http://aniqroid.sileria.com to make this happen
http://aniqroid.sileria.com/doc/api/com/sileria/android/view/SlidingTray.html
Alternatively you can also use a custom PopupWindow class which is part of Android API.
Anyone have some sample code for an in-app browser that they would like to share?
I am looking to add a browser view in my app that is pushed and includes a toolbar with four buttons: back, forward, stop/refresh and actions. However, I'd like to show somewhat transparent and none-tapable buttons when you can't go forward or back, and also have the stop/refresh button show the appropriate icon when it's loading and done loading?
My issue is currently that I cannot get "blanked out" back and forward that cannot be tapped if you cannot go back in the web history. Also, how do I change out the stop icon with the refreshing icon when the view is loading?
For tool bar items, simply set "item.enabled = webview.canGoForward;" (or canGoBack). To change the refresh/stop button you can set item.customView if you want to use a progress view or some such, otherwise if you just want to use a static image you can set item.image. All this is in the documentation as well.
