How do I check if a mobile number is on WhatsApp or not with programming? - web

I wanted to build a web-based system using which you will come to know whether the mobile number is registered with WhatsApp or not? It's just to check whether the number entered in textbox have WhatsApp account or not?
I tried finding resources regarding the same but unable to get any solution on it, please share some link for reference so, I can implement it and get to the final result.

You can use the Whatsapp API through Wassenger of Waboxap to send a text message and via webhook service like Loggly determine if the message was delivered. The person will however get a message, which might cause them to block you.

Branch.io: Extract custom value from link

we're facing a problem right now: We're using the SMS gateway feature from branch.io which simply does not work properly worldwide (e.g. Lituanian cell phones won't receive any messages at all).
Therefore i need a fallback method for people that cannot receive an SMS to their phone with the downloadlink in the Appstore. (The branch.io Links have an effect on the branding of our app)
The fallback is to let them use a voucher code which COULD be generated from a custom value that we store for each Link
This is an ordinary Link with its 2 custom values
The landing page http://learnmat.ch/spark7 opens in the browser and i'd like to be able to identify the SponsorID on the website so that i can return a voucher code that is suitable for the specific SponsorID of the Link.
Right now i've already integrated the Web SDK into the website.
Is that "reverse engineering of the SponsorID" possible based on the Link and the WebSDK integration?

Our SMS page service supports international numbers but only if the number the SMS has to be delivered is in the same country the SMS is being sent from. Could you please make sure the sender is physically located in Lithuania? Regarding your fallback method: you want to have users click on a Branch link that will open your website and based on the link data (sponsor ID), you want to provide them with unique voucher codes? If my assumption is correct, you can achieve this by custom event tracking and user identity tracking. (relevant docs: https://docs.branch.io/pages/dashboard/analytics/#user-value-attribution)

Control your device with custom commands using Actions in Google

just getting started with Assistant features in RPi and I am able to successfully implement upto this point and wondering few thing.
Scenario:
user: hey google "please turn on my living room Lights"
List item my code in horword.py : has a function to perform same action based on ON_RECOGNIZING_SPEACH_FINISHED
RPi/google home: I am not sure how respond to that
I was able to capture the request query asked by user using ON_RECOGNIZING_SPEACH_FINISHED = Args.text(str) and use it in my logic to perform the task. However, at the same time, "ok google" is responding with this answer.
to mitigate this problem, I created an google-actions, now it understands my query and respond with intention from api.ai. However, didn't acts on turn lights ON. So, wondering how can I read response from google home/api.ai in text and change code to act on it locally.

You will not get response as text.
For getting response to client app use webhook in API.AI and send message using fcm to client app.
Read the fcm message in client app and do the corresponding actions.
finally was able to figure out multiple ways. answered this in other stack question. find more details in this post.
Multiple ways to handle this since google doesn't gives voices transcript and we let google say our transcript which is kind off solution for now.

Firebase (Google) Cloud Messaging (FCM, old GCM) - check message status

I'm trying to find a solution to ensure a push notification to my Chrome extension has been received before sending another one. IF it hasn't been received and another one should go, I would change its content to tell the user he has multiple new informations to check.
So I'm looking for a way to check the previous message status using its ID, or check the queue of messages if using a collapse key, before sending a new one. But I can't find anything related to this, except here : https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/2663268?hl=en there is FCM message status detailed, but no way to get them after the first response.
I am aware receipts can be implemented using XMPP but I would really prefer to remain on the regular HTTP protocol.

XMPP receipts would be the recommended way for you to get an ack that the message was delivered. You can also use the Play Developer console (Android developer console) to view statistics on the status of messages. However this will not be sufficient if you want to automatically resend, you would have to do this manually.

WhatsApi Number Getting Blocked - NodeJs

I am using the node-whatsapi library
I am getting the number blocked. I am following the exact protocol as mentioned in the WIKI.
The flow that i follow is:
Create Adapter
Connect()
On Connect - Login
On Login
sendIsOnline()
requestPrivacySettings()
requestServerProperties()
requestContactsSync()
For Each Contact sendPresenceSubscription(), getStatus() and getProfilePicture()
And when i receive a message:

Now, what we do and why do we use WhatsApi
We enable our existing Customers to talk to their internal teams on WhatsApp. So, a customer initates a chat and a help desk team responds to them on an application.
Got the number blocked now. Unable to understand where am i going wrong.
Also, the total number of messages exchanged between the customer and the helpdesk team is around 1k a day.
What you're "doing wrong" is using a third party API which is against WhatsApp's terms of service and, if detected, will get your relevant accounts blocked. It's not a fault with WhatsAPI itself or how you are using it.
WhatsApp openly publishes the only approved/compliant way to programmatically interact with their network.

Outside of that, you are going to get blocked whenever you are detected as using an unapproved means of interacting with their network.
In your particular example you're using a Node.js port of the original WhatsAPI. As of May 2015 this is the kind of pressure they are dealing with from WhatsApp (despite many years of trying to negotiate an amicable compromise with them around things like message limits and identity verification):

the reason of getting blocked doesn't have to be because you wrote
wrong code. It could be a filter on the kind of messages you send or a
report from someone about your number.

How to trigger an application in mobile automatically

My idea is to make an application start automatically when a message from a specific user reaches the inbox of the mobile . For example if my friend sends some numbers to my mobile, the sms has to be read and validated first and then calculator ( inbuilt mobile application) has to be triggered and process the numbers from the message. Please help me with the above query.
I am far from convinced you will be able to give the phone user access to the same sms you use to launch your MIDlet.
You may need to use native development on the phones that support it if J2ME can't give you exactly what you need.
In any case, you probably want to try with J2ME first so you need to read the specifications for JSR-118 and its PushRegistry API, along with JSR-120, which interfaces with SMS.
Most current J2ME-enabled phones will support static SMS Push but you will need to send the SMS to a particular port, much like you would data over a standard library socket.
I don't think you can trigger on just any old SMS message arriving.
