How do I install libleveldb-dev on windows for Python? - python-3.x

How to install libleveldb-dev (leveldb development libraries) on windows? I need this to be downloaded so I can install plyvel. Thank you in advance I hope someone is familiar with this process.
The way to install this on Linux is :
sudo apt-get install libleveldb-dev
But I need to install this on windows. Is there a similar easy way to do this in the windows command prompt? Related Link: https://plyvel.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html#build-and-install-plyvel

Just answering for the next ones, there is a version of plyver just for windows that doesnt require all this suffering. just try: "pip install plyvel-win32" if you have the visual libraries should work.

vs code not installing on Chromebook

I was trying to install vs code on Chromebook with Linux but i get it off the website and go into the file and it says "apt is not install able" and things like it for about five rows of text I hope someone knows the answer.
Try beginning with sudo apt install as opposed to apt install. Linux can be wishy washy when it comes to installs in the terminal.

How to do this linux command in windows?

Basically I'm trying to install libpq-dev but I've only found ways to do it in Linux. I've tried to install Cygwin but it takes quite a long time here at work, I currently don't have permanent internet connection at home, so I can't download at home.
Anyways, here is the Linux command that I'm trying to do in Windows:
sudo apt-get install -y libpq-dev
Please pardon my noobness in using the command-prompt.
There is a manual for this.
To install from package (recommended):
Microsoft Windows
Jason Erickson maintains a packaged Windows port of Psycopg with installation executable. Download. Double click. Done.

How to uninstall libraries (installed through compile) in Ubuntu?

I tried installing libtiff 4.0.3 through using the commands:
./configure
make
make install
It installed fine. However, I recently found out that I got the versions wrong and so I need to install a new one with a different version. I'd like to how know to remove libtiff from my Ubuntu setup. Would it be the same as sudo apt-get remove [x]? And how do I know what to put on x if I didn't install it through sudo apt-get install [x] command? Would appreciate some help. Thanks. :)
You can't use apt-get to remove something that wasn't installed as a package. Try running make uninstall. – Blender

Where can I get xmkmf for RedHat Linux?

I'm trying to build GLUT, but I fail on:
xmkmf: Command not found
Where can I find this?
It's part of the imake package, which you can install with yum via yum install imake or just download, e.g. from http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=imake.
if imake is not installed, install it from pkgs.org

How to install libmysql under Cygwin?

I am trying to build db-mysql extension for NodeJS under Cygwin. The problem is, that it requires libmysql development libraries and include files. I have no idea how to install (and where to get) this stuff to work with Cygwin. Under Ubuntu i would write something like this:
sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev
But this is not possible under Cygwin. Also there is no available libmysql package when I run Cygwin's setup.exe. Does anybody know how to solve this isue?
I have installed wamp under Windows which includes MySQL database. I would like to use databases from that installation under Cygwin, is that possible?
Thanks
It's available from Cygwin Ports, a large repository of additional Cygwin packages that can be installed through Cygwin's setup.exe.
