I accidentally deleted the custom domain that was assigned to my site. How do I undo this operation? Is there anyway to get my custom domain back?
Unfortunately, you cannot undo it. You will have to perform the domain validation again and add it to the site.

The problem - got registered in business standard with a domain that I could not avoid.
While I was applying for a discount I have accidentally created domains that I did not like.
creation.onmicrosoft.com was my intended domain, but after some glitches, I ended up with creation6.onmicrosoft.com.
Further to this I have integrated creation.com and set up my office 365 mail.
I was informed by microsoft that I have to start from scratch and I have no idea how to delete the creation.onmicrosoft.com domain so that I can re-register from the beginning.
The question
Is it possible to do a switch of the onmicrosoft.com domain without the number as it looks really unprofessional in my share point.i.e. Switch from creation6.onmicrosoft.com to creation.onmicrosoft.com as this is an additional custom domain that I have registered?
The share point that I have from the domain (creation6.onmicrosoft.com) is really unsightly and not professional
What I did -
I called support - they said not possible, register from the beginning.
I tried deleting via Azure but it reads bad error. But I could not release the domain - creation.onmicrosoft.com
I did abit of research and found the Powershell method to rename but I am a Mac user.
You can register and assign a custom domain instead of using the onmicrosoft.com domain. See Add a domain to Microsoft 365 for more information about that.
I try to achieve something like this.
My App runs on xyz.azurewebsites.net .
Now I want that the CNAME 123.azurewebsites.net redirects to xyz.azurewebsites.net
123.azurewebsites.net --> xyz.azurewebsites.net
I tried to add that CNAME in the Azure portal under custom domains put everytime I click "Add Custom Domain" I get the alert Message "Your unsaved edits will be discarded." And when I click "Ok" nothing happen.
In my notifications I get the message "Failed to add hostname 123.azurewebsites.net. 123.azurewebsites.net is invalid."
Is this a problem because I try to redirect from one "azurewebsites" domain to another "azurewebsites" domain or do I miss out something?
Adding a custom domain sometimes takes a long time to update. Check back in 20 minutes to see if the change has gone through. If you go to www.digwebinterface.com and type your custom domain name in, "xyz.azurewebsites.net" you should see that it has mapped it to your original host name, "123.azurewebsites.net".
I'm creating several websites in azure and attempting to assign custom domain names to each. The website URLs will be of the form app1.cloud.example.com. Is there any way to bypass the validation for each domain name and just verify i own cloud.example.com?
The reason I want to do this is that eventually there may be hundreds of these websites, and so I would like to automate this, and it'll make my job a little easier if I can perform the validation once rather than having to code the creation of the validation CNAME record.
Thanks in advance!
Try validating *.cloud.example.com.
I have an Info-path task form in a custom SharePoint workflow that I have made.
The custom task form says to the user you have a task you need to complete here is a link to the document that you need to fill out in order to complete the task.
However the client's server has an alternative access mapping.
I pass the generated workflow URL to the task form of the document in the item-metadata.xml however this does not take into account the alternate access mapping and therefore the link is the wrong URL on the client's machine.
How do I manage to generate a URL on the server that takes into account the access mapping?
From the AAM page which URL is the workflow using, Default?
If so what about swapping around the AAM so the one you want to use is listed as Default?
I have registered a domain (though there is no hosting yet, just name registration) and I am trying to set up google apps so that I can have email, but I cannot figure it out. Is there something I am missing? I feel like it should be easier than it is right now.
You need to correctly set the MX records at your registrar.
Have you proved domain ownership including a CNAME record in your DNS server? Just follow the instructions.
If you don't have access to your DNS server for adding records, and don't have a webserver where you can put a verification file I think you wont be able do setup e-mail.
If you already have the domain, you just need to follow the registration process, you will be taken through all the steps. If you got to the Admin Console you should have a message bar Top of the page with Verify Domain.
the best way to do it is to try the new Learning Center, http://learn.googleapps.com/.
