I have an instance with our custom project and the Amazon Integration project published. Both projects work fine in 2018R1. During the upgrade I had to update the database first and then the application. The regular update of both at the same time did not work. The code works fine in 2018R1. I assumed I just needed to recompile so I built the dev environment in this instance and compiled successfully. When I tried to run it, I got this error:

Any ideas what is causing this?
The Acumatica 2018 R2 Technical Release notes mention that PXOrderedSelect family has been moved from PX.Objects to PX.Data. The Amazon Integration and LingoEDI librairies will need to be updated.
As for your other error, this is related to your project references and conflicting packages that got moved to your bin/ directory on build. The following link may be helpful: Could not load file or assembly 'System.ValueTuple'

When I build my new project in .Net Core VS2019 the build gets failed with an error. The project have some css and js files which uses typescript that cause this error. But I don't know what went wrong or what might be the cause of it.

I set "MSBuild project build output verbosity" to "Detailed" in "Tools->Options->Projects and Solutions->Build and Run" and I see VS want to compile several .ts files and can't do that.

I exclude these files and successfully published my project
you can exclude .ts file(s) from your project or modify and try again
In my case, I've Changed the ECMAScript to project requirements.

I have recently download Net-SNMP code from their website and trying to build in VC 2017 - and it fails.
The extracted folder has win32.dsp and win32dll.dsp - when I try to open in VC IDE I get error like -

How can we resolve the issue?
If you built with OpenSSL you may have set INCLUDE and LIB paths and replaced the ones set by vcvars. If you set INCLUDE and LIB before running vcvars it will probably work. I concatenated to them to fix the issue.
I can't build directly from VS2017 neither.
According to the file README.win32, install ActivePerl first, then run win32\build.bat.

PS: It seems that, old version (may be before 5.7.3???) has no such problems. New code split some files into multiple ones, and caused compilation issue under Windows.

I have problem with building my solution by MSBuild.

When I compile my solution in Visual Studio 2012 I do not have any problems. All assemblies are build with a nice information about version.
The problem is with the TFS Builds (I have the TFS 2012). The build of my solution always fails. The error origins in the CoreCompile fsc.exe step and it is about the AssemblyInfo.fs file:

I have no idea why the fsc.exe in MSBuild have problem with my AssemblyInfo.fs files.
What is more strange, when I use the "Developer Command Prompt for VS2012" and I execute exactly the same MSBuild or fsc.exe commands everything goes fine. I do not have any errors. So it seems that the TFS Build have some strange problems which I am not able to reproduce on my machines even if I run the same commands.

I just downloaded OpenNI 2 SDK (www.openni.org) and I am trying to setup a project in Visual Studio 2012.
What I did:
Create a new C++ Win32 Console Application Project
Go to Project>MyProject Properties and, in Configuration Properties>VC++ Directories...
Added C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenNI2\Redist\; to Executable Directories
Added C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenNI2\Include\; to Include Directories
Added C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenNI2\Redist\; to Reference Directories
Added C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenNI2\Lib\; to Library Directories
But when I try to build I have the following unresolved symbol error (where ConsoleApplication1 is my project's name)

I know this linking error is saying that the linker can't find some libraries but I thought what I just did was enough.
I also tried the 64 bit version, creating a 64 bit project, but I have the same errors.
I couldn't find satisfying documentation on this topic.

C:\Program Files\OpenNI2\Redist or

Be aware that when you run from command line, the working directory is the directory where the executable can be found, and where you run from Visual Studio the default directory is where the project file (.vcproj, .vcxproj) can be found.
you also need to point to the actual library file: openni2.lib
If you add all of options (Include, Lib, ...) to your project setting and again get this error, maybe your project platform is Win32 and you want to use OpenNI x64
In this case, you must change the platform to x64 (Project properties at the top of the page)
If you don't have x64 option, make a new one ;)
