azure pipeline deployment for Cloud services (classic) web app - azure

I am trying to get a deployment working from Azure Pipelines and cannot figure out how to deploy a single "Cloud Service classic hosted" web app. I am not finding much documentation about how to configure my template beyond the basic canned templates Azure offers. Does anyone know of better documentation or an example template to deploy from a build? Previously I was deploying directly from Visual Studio running locally, so this jump to using Pipelines is a big one for me.

Is it possible to add a CI/CD pipeline to an existing app service on Azure? If so, how?

I have an existing app service running on Azure that I previously published directly from Visual Studio. I am trying to get to grips with using DevOps and was wondering if it is possible to add a CI/CD pipeline to an existing app service.
I have seen a lot of tutorials on the web about how to create a pipeline for a new app service (many, of course, are out of date and do not actually relate to what one sees in the Azure portal!) So far, though, I have not come across anything about adding this to an existing app service.
Any advice or links to handy tutorials would be greatly appreciated!
I am hoping that the answer is not delete the existing service and start again from scratch!
If you are a beginner on Azure Devops, I will recommend to use the Azure Devops Starter project to create a pipeline, you can pick AppService as the deployment.
Once the pipelines are created on the Azure Devops , just open the pipeline and select the existing AppService where you want to deploy and also the source from where you want to pull the code. This makes easier rather than creating the stuffs from the scratch.

Publish single project from Azure Dev Ops to Azure App Service Environment

We have a App Service Enviroment https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/environment/intro I have set up an App in but I am struggling to either publish from my machine (I've added the URLs to my HOSTS file and I can see it in a browser) and cant see a clear way to publish it from Azure Dev Ops (my preferred option).
I'd be happy to be pointed to TFM but everything I find is out of date / not near the options I can see in Dev Ios or Visual Studio (2019 / 2019 Preview).
EDIT: Also note this is a multi project solution (various console apps, an API and a website it is the API / Website I want to publish)
EDIT 2: So "its always DNS" it was a DNS issue in trying to publish from Visual Studio
You can check these two links:

If you use Visual Studio, see: Deploy an ASP.NET Web App in Azure App Service.
If you use Azure pipeline, this doc: Deploy an Azure Web App provides a tutorial to build web app and then deploy to an Azure Web App. Also see this video for detailed guidance: Build and deploy to an Azure Web App using VSTS (Quick Starts).
BTW, there are a few useful tools: Azure DevOps Labs, Azure DevOps Services Demo Generator, and DevOps Starter which will help you to get started with Azure DevOps services to automate software delivery and meet business needs.

Azure App Services, DevOps and Web API deployment

I am learning Azure. If I developed a Web API project. How exactly is deployed in real-time to Azure App Service? I do saw lot of video where APIs are deployed to Azure App Services. is the way we do in real development? or We use ARM templates? usually, the portal login details are not shared to developer? Once deploy to Azure App Service, How we use Azure DevOps to make CI/CD for the same. Please help/guide with any article/video/tutorial.
or Simply guide how we plan any web app or API from development to Production deployment using Azure App Services and Azure DevOps?
Thanks in Advance for any help.
First thing you need to do is maintain GitHub repository.Push all your code inside it !
Now create a web app in Azure under App service !
Once it is deployed you have to deploy the code to it from GitHub.
There are 2 ways to do it from GitHub to maintain CI Cd pipelines.
One way is you use GitHub actions under deployment center to deploy it or other way is create azure DevOps free account and Import GitHub repository there and then push it in Web App.
Both have some end results.
Now about ci cd pipelines anytime you will make changes to code on respective chosen way the code can be seen working in live app.
This all is concept of ci cd pipelines.

Is it possible to deploy web app to azure without VSCode?

I see documentation on deploying app to Azure using Vscode. But is there a way to deploy without Vscode? Like some direct deployment method through the website?
If you have your source code pushed to any source control in cloud, you can deploy through the Deployment Center or via Azure Devops.

Continuous deployment from Visual Studio Team Services to Azure App Service

I'm trying to automatically deploy from Team Services (was Visual Studio Online) after a successful build a C# program to an azure app service without success.
I can only do it to a cloud service (classic) rather app service.
I've seen that I could plug Team Services directly to the app service with "deployment source" (I did tried so far because both tenant, Team Services & Azure one are different and requires some effort)
but wouldn't it break the normal release / test process from Team Services?
I can only find little information over internet regarding these topics ...
Any help would be appreciated.
You can also add a FTP Upload task in your build definition to publish the output to Azure App Service via FTP Method.
To publish to an Azure App Service, you need to use either of the following Agent tasks:
Here is a walkthrough: https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/docs/build/apps/aspnet/aspnet4-to-azure
When making a new build definition, it is easiest to choose the Deployment -> Azure WebApp option.
