Htaccess rewrite / redirect issue from .png.webp back to png

Can any experts in .htaccess tell me why this isn't working? (it's the last line that is key - the .png.webp to png rewrite) Please help!
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.test.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://test.com/$1 [L,R=301]
RewriteRule ^(.*)\.webp.png$ $1.png [L,R=301]
Example issue:
https://centiqsap.com/wp-content/uploads-webpc/uploads/2020/07/Group-13-min-2.png.webp
Needs to rewrite and redirect to
https://centiqsap.com/wp-content/uploads-webpc/uploads/2020/07/Group-13-min-2.png
Have your htaccess file like this way once(I have added new rule and kept OP's old rules too in rules file). Please make sure you clear your cache before testing your URLs. I have also fixed some minor issues, like your https redirection rule should be at very first and you should exacpe .(dots) in regex too.
RewriteEngine ON
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.test\.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://test\.com/$1 [NE,L,R=301]
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
RewriteRule ^(.*\.png)\.webp/?$ $1 [R=301,NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}/$1\.webp -f
RewriteRule ^(.*)/?$ $1.webp [NC,L]

Struggling to rewrite the URL using htaccess

I'm totally newbie in htaccess and it has been a month since I'm trying to rewrite this one URL but no luck. Tried searching on the internet a lot and tried out the method that worked for others but not working for me unfortunately.
The htaccess rule for my dynamic page works, for example site/index.php?viewpage=application shows up as site/application
What I'm struggling to do is, I'm trying to rewrite the following url: site/application?name=abcd&date1-2-3&version=5.0 to site/application/abcd/1-2-3/5.0
This is my htaccess code
Options +FollowSymLinks -MultiViews
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.+)$ index.php?viewpage=$1 [L,QSA]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^([^/]*)/([^/]*)/([^/]*)$ /application?name=$1&date=$2&version=$3 [L]
Try this :
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !name
RewriteRule ^([^/]+)$ index.php?viewpage=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^(.+)/(.+)/(.+)/(.+)$ /$1?name=$2&date$3&version=$4 [L]
If you want the last line to be limited with application only , replace with this :
RewriteRule ^application/(.+)/(.+)/(.+)$ /application?name=$1&date$2&version=$3 [L]
UPDATE CODE:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} !name
RewriteRule ^([^/]+)$ index.php?viewpage=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^(.+)/(.+)/(.+)/(.+)$ index.php?viewpage=$1?name=$2&date$3&version=$4 [L,NE]

Is there "If exists" parameter in htaccess?

I can have urls of three types, which should rewrite to:
http://example.com/admin -> http://example.com/admin.php
http://example.com/admin/2 -> http://example.com/admin.php?cat=2
http://example.com/admin/2/2 -> http://example.com/admin.php?cat=2&page=2
Also, .php should be added to ALL the .php files in the project.
I have this rules right now:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}\.php -f
RewriteRule ^(.*)/$ $1.php
RewriteRule ^admin/(\d+)/(\d+)$ admin.php?cat=$1&page=$2
And I don't know how to make this work properly. I need to make the second rule about page parameter to be situational, only when it exists, because otherwise .htaccess tries to rewrite only the whole line with page number in it.
Any help? Thanks for attention.
You can use:
Options -MultiViews
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^admin/(\d+)/?$ admin.php?cat=$1 [L]
RewriteRule ^admin/(\d+)/(\d+)$ admin.php?cat=$1&page=$2 [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}\.php -f
RewriteRule ^(.*)/?$ $1.php [L]

.htaccess GET query string not work

I try to redirect url from
http://localhost/manual/$
to
http://localhost/manual/index.php?type=post&post=$
My file .htaccess is
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /manual/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f # Existing File
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d # Existing Directory
RewriteRule . /manual/index.php? [L]
RewriteRule ^([^/]*)\/$ type=post&post=$1 [L]
But nor working whats wrong, help, sorry if duplicate because I still not understand to create htaccess.
You can use the following rule in /manual/.htaccess :
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /manual/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^(.+)$ index.php?type=post&post=$1 [L]

Drop the .html from URL in .htaccess

I am having a hard time trying to drop the .html for our newly updated website through .htaccess. I have tried a number of different lines of code copy and pasted from the internet, but I'm sure it's something simple that I just don't have the experience to see!
In short, I want to make this request (which is a 404) drop the .html:
http://mysite/cmt-grooving-sblade.html
To this:
http://mysite/cmt-grooving-sblade
Any help you could give will be I will be very grateful for!
So far, my .htaccess looks like this. The first section was already there, the rest is my recent attempt.
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} \.html$
RewriteRule ^(.*)\.html$ $1 [R=301,L]
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
You can use this to remove .html from your URLs:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} /([^.]+)\.html [NC]
RewriteRule ^ /%1 [NC,L,R]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}.html -f
RewriteRule ^ %{REQUEST_URI}.html [NC,L]
It will leave you with your desired URL: http://mysite/cmt-grooving-sblade. Make sure you clear your cache before testing this.
Try this;
RewriteEngine on
# if a directory or a file exists, use it directly
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
# otherwise forward it to index.php
RewriteRule . index.php
RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} ^(.*)
RewriteRule .* - [e=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%1]
