I'm trying to implement an email marketing email using a few widgets that gets triggers on submission of a form. Everything has been built and works locally but having issues with the CMS once uploaded to any hosted environment ('CI' and 'UAT' as we call them).
From what I can see everything has been sent up correctly but when editing templates there seem to be some CMS styling issues from some of the iframe loaded elements.
Have attached a screen grab as an example.
There are no console errors and no errors in the Kentico logs so I'm a bit stumped as to what is causing this issue.
Thanks in advance,
Luke
Solved this issue. We had recently upgraded from a previous version of Kentico and the associated updated stylesheets hadn't been uploaded to the development environments so were missing styles in these new areas of the CMS

I have created a new website www.bucketshowers.com and I tried to index it using google webmaster tools. Fetch as Google for the desktop worked just fine, but doing the same for mobile shows an error "Temporarily unreachbale". It's been a few days and the website REALLY is not avaible on mobile. It's driving me nuts. Here're is some information and things I have already tried:
Website is made with WP
I have disabled all SEO/meta tags plugins and I added a very basic robots.txt http://bucketshowers.com/robots.txt
I tried waiting 15min between fetching the root page on mobile
I have checked source code for the homepage to make sure there are no meta tags with nofollow or noindex attributes
I baffled by this issue and I would gladly take any advise/pointers what else can be done. Thank you.
The crazy thing was, that it was caused by WP Statistics plugin, which is probably the most popular from its kind - 500k downloads. When I deactivated it, everything is fine, google fetches of the mobile and the website is available. Incredible! I'm still searching for the actual problem within that plugin.
I have created a multilingual Umbraco website which has 3 domain names pointing to it for each language. The site has gone live and people are starting to share links to it on LinkedIn and other social media. I have metadata in the website which should be picked up when these links are shared. On LinkedIn when the link is shared it has 'coming soon' as the strap-line, which is what was in the holding page months ago suggesting the site isn't being re-scraped.
I used the Facebook link debugging tool and that was returning a run-time error with a 500 response code.
My co-worker insists that there is nothing wrong with the DNS and there aren't any errors in the code of the website so I am wondering if anyone has any ideas why the website cannot be scraped?
It also has another issue where one of the domains sometimes doesn't redirect to it's www. version despite have a redirect on the DNS which may be related.
Is there some specific Umbraco configuration that I may have missed? Or a bug within Umbraco that may cause this?
Aside from this issue the website is working fine, it is just these scrapers seem to be unable to hit the website successfully.
Do you have meta data set for encoding? see https://www.w3.org/International/questions/qa-html-language-declarations probably long shot.
I have created a custom website using the Magento platform (No pre-defined theme is used). This is a completely created from the scratch. Now after developing the website, some slider in homepage is not displaying properly in the mobile version in addition to other pages. Can you guys help me out?. I am fine to buy an extension or do any other minor changes, so that I can go-live with my website immediately.
Have you checked out themes there in magento commerce?
Also tryout inspect element from browser to rule out syntactic errors
All the Best

I have a simple ascx contact us control that sends an email.
I have been using it over time to various umbraco websites running versions from 4 up to 6.1.5 and it has always worked fine. I have been also tried it with various versions of .NET without problems.
This time I updated it to .NET 4.5 and tested it and then added it in an Umbraco 7 project. It renders fine but when the submit button is pressed the page reloads without a postback and nothing happens.
There is no error message in the logs, there is no activity from the form.
The code is such that if there is an error that would be handled and shown on the screen after a postback but the form simply reloads.
I have tried all the usual checks and I can't find absolutely nothing wrong with it. Can anyone suggest why the control wouldn't work on Umbraco 7 or how to find the error that causes a full page refresh?
Thank you
You can't use usercontrols in MVC views. If you want to use usercontrols still then switch the render engine back to Webforms in umbracoSettings.config, recycle your app pool and recreate all your templates as masterpages. However, I'd advise you to redo the form in MVC. Google: SurfaceController contact form
I have two servers with virtually identical setups (the second that is working has been around longer than the other). For my newer server when I just put an address to a PDF in the browser it launches a download dialog. If I put the same address (just changing the server name) in the browser to my older server it displays in the browser just fine. There is no difference between the files themselves. The issue is I want to display these pdfs in an iframe on a page and the same thing is happening with the iframe (the new server launches a download instead of the pdf just showing in the frame).
Any ideas would be most appreciated!
Once I started looking into SP 2010 as being the cause I found that there is a default setting for all new 2010 sites that causes this issue. The following blog post had the most complete information on the subject:

Initial suggestion may be this has to do with MIME-TYPE setup
