I'm using JHipster version 4.14.3
I have created a basic monolith app selecting all of the default options.
Next I import a simple jdl file using command jhipster import-jdl Model.jdl
The contents of the jdl file is as follows:
entity PhoneContact {
phoneNumber String required pattern('/\\+?[0-9. ()-]{10,25}/'),
isMobile Boolean
}
Next I want to generate a docker file using the following command:
mvnw package -Pprod dockerfile:build
This starts the build process, which fails in the Test phase.
It seems that the test failures are related to the the pattern on the phoneNumber, because when I import the model with the pattern commented out then I don't get the same test failures.
The generated test class t.j.t3.web.rest.PhoneContactResourceIntTest includes the following two declarations:
// private static final String DEFAULT_PHONE_NUMBER = "0287146-2.1)0 0602";
// private static final String UPDATED_PHONE_NUMBER = "586) .589(1";
private static final String DEFAULT_PHONE_NUMBER = "0123456789";
private static final String UPDATED_PHONE_NUMBER = "9876543210";
However even when I replace the declarations with much simpler values the tests continue to fail with the same errors.
The stacktrace for the first generated test createPhoneContact is as follows:

Your regex does not match the generated values. In your case, it expects a phone number to start with a \ character. You should also not surround regex in JDL files by quotes (according to the JDL documentation).
JHipster generates unit tests that work for generic entities, without knowing your validation rules: it is possible that the generated tests do not pass the validation rules. In that case, you will need to update the sample values used in your unit tests, so that they pass the validation rules. - https://www.jhipster.tech/creating-an-entity/

I have some unit test cases written for spring integration flows. On running the individual test cases from IDE no issues, but on running all test cases from gradle build some test cases are failing.
I found a QC on related issue:
https://jira.spring.io/browse/XD-3709
If any one knows solution for this, please post.

You have to use #DirtiesContext on the test class level to close all the application contexts after performing their tests. Otherwise the application contexts, created during test class initialization, aren't closed to chase the caching goal in between different test classes.
In your case one of the test classes initialize application context and register MBeans into the JMX. But not closing the application context cause the next one to try to register the MBean again. Just because you use some common configuration for different test classes.
I'm using the last version of the generator-jhipster.

I didn't modify anything, did I do something wrong ?
I had the same issue and my solution may or may not apply to your case. In my case, a previous version of JHipster had generated the hibernate_sequence only for some database types, not including h2 used for tests.
Check your 00000000000000_initial_schema.xml liquibase file, it should contain the instructions for creating the hibernate_sequence sequence, for instance:
<changeSet id="00000000000000" author="jhipster" dbms="postgresql,oracle">
<createSequence sequenceName="hibernate_sequence" startValue="1000" incrementBy="1"/>
</changeSet>
This did not include h2, so the sequence was not generated during testing and thus Hibernate complained.
I removed the dbms="postgresql,oracle" part and then it worked.
your application is failing to load ApplicationContext. Check your folder where it is configured
#ContextConfiguration (locations = "classpath*:/spring/applicationContext*.xml")
this will load all of your application context xml file.
According to stack trace,
Your test class with SpringJUnit4ClassRunner needs a spring context and your spring configuration for this test class needs a bean that's name entityManagerFactory
You must add this bean to your test config(HibernateJpaAutoConfiguration)
For ex:
in Java Config:
#Bean
public EntityManagerFactory entityManagerFactory(){
return new EntityManagerFactory(...){
....
}
}
or autowired:
#Autowire
private EntityManagerFactory entityManagerFactory;
The following works for me when I just use the database name:
database = 'databasename'
cloudantdata_df = sqlContext.read.format("com.cloudant.spark").\
option("cloudant.host", host).\
option("cloudant.username", username).\
option("cloudant.password", password).\
load(database)
cloudantdata_df.printSchema()
However, when I try to load a particular design document and view name using the format like:
database = 'databasename/_design/analytics/_view/invBA'
I get the following java exception:
Py4JJavaError: An error occurred while calling o54.load.

Is there a way to look at a particular design document view name?
In github, there is an example how to load views:https://github.com/cloudant-labs/spark-cloudant/blob/master/examples/python/CloudantDF.py#L74
You need to use view option.
In your particular case it will be:
cloudantdata_df = sqlContext.read.format("com.cloudant.spark").\
option("cloudant.host", host).\
option("cloudant.username", username).\
option("cloudant.password", password).\
option("view","_design/analytics/_view/invBA").load(database)
Hi, I am trying to integrate of checkmarx plug in with my project in

project libraries of myeclipse. And copied the property files into
my source directory of project i.e. ESAPI.properties &
validation.properties (prop files) where all my project property
files exists. Below is the screen shot Now I am trying to test if my
integration of ESapi successful. For that I have a create a test

compilation errors found. But when I am running it is giving error ,

Thank you. ~Shyam
I'm not familiar with ESAPI but note that the error includes "Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.commons.configuration.ConfigurationException"
The class, org.apache.commons.configuration.ConfigurationException, is in the commons-configuration.jar, so you will need that jar in your classpath also (and maybe others).
Note that for web applications, you may also need to add jars to the Deployment Assembly (right click the project, select Properties and then go to the MyEclipse/Deployment Assembly page - you can add jars from the classpath or individuals jars) as this controls what gets deployed to the server.
I am getting this error when i am trying to marshal a JAXB object to XML.
The JAXBContext is unable to find the class that i am passing. I am stuck up here.
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

When you create a JAXBContext from a Java class, the JAXB impl will also create metadata for all classes if can reach from it (including property types, super classes, and classes specified in annotations). It will not package scan or pull in subclasses so care needs to be taken to ensure metadata is produced for all classes in your model.
If your model is generated from an XML schema then you should create the JAXBContext from the generated package name. To ensure the classes are loaded correctly you should also specify the correct ClassLoader. Assuming your package name is com.example.foo you can do the following.
JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance("com.example.foo", CommlAutoPolicyInfoType.class.getClassLoader());
If your generate model spans multiple packages you separate the packages in context path using the : character.
JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance("com.example.foo:com.example.bar", CommlAutoPolicyInfoType.class.getClassLoader());

I had the similar problem and this is was the problem with some transitive dependencies on the one of the big project within company (but I didn't get the ClassNotFound exception but that InternalError which points to nowhere). Even when I've used the hint suggested by #Blaise it didn't start work.
So - how I solve the problem? First - I've added the -verbose:class to command line in order to track down the loaded classes. With this I have figured out that some of the classes from my jaxb package (it could be that example package: "com.example.foo") weren't loaded for some reason. So I've added example import for those non-loaded classes from jaxb package and simple usage on the code, like:
ExampleNotLoadedClass.class.getName();
With above code finally during loading this class I've received the ClassNotFound exception with the class from different package. It should be included by some transitive dependencies for this artifact but for some reason this didn't work (I think it doesn't matter, I would only say that we were dividing our big project and extracting some of the artifacts to different subprojects).
So I've added that missing class dependency directly to that problematic artifact and everything had started work fine.
I hope it helps someone in similar problem.
