I am trying to find PXGraph template for customization in visual studio but couldn't find it. Can anyone let me know how to add the template?
You should have installed the Acumatica Framework.
Go to Start->Acumatica->Acumatica Framework and run it.
Choose Deploy Acumatica Framework Tools
And press Finish
After this installation you should be able to select PXGraph from Add Item dialog
If I remember correctly the Acumatica's Tools are designed for VS 2015. But you can check the tools from Framework for 2018 R1 may be they have developed them for VS 2017 too.
As of 2018 R1 Build 18.111.0019, the Acumatica Framework Tools include templates for both VS 2015 and 2017.

I am not able to find PXGraph template for customization in visual studio even after I Deploy Acumatica Framework Tools.

Can anyone Help me how to add the template?
Thanks
I had this same problem. I was forced to manually copy the items in the Acumatica template into the default directory for Visual Studio. To learn how to view the default directory, see this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/ide/how-to-locate-and-organize-project-and-item-templates?view=vs-2017
I have developed an Azure Functions project in Visual Studio 2015 (a project with a .funproj file extension). Now I want to migrate it to Visual Studio 2017 but when I try, VS does not load the project.
Why is the migration failing and how can I complete it manually?
Azure Functions tooling for Visual Studio 2017 is still work in progress. They are expected to be announced during upcoming Build event.
Watch this github issue for status.
UPDATE: The Preview of Visual Studio 2017 Tools for Azure Functions are now available for download. The blog post explains the tools, requirements, and has a link to the download. Note that it only works in VS 15.3 Preview, not in earlier versions.
As far as I know, there's no migration tooling available per se, so you'd have to start from a blank project and then convert your script to static class and function.json to proper bindings.
I´m developing the following tutorial: How to create a custom activity in
Workflow Manager 1.0 http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn175762(v=azure.10).aspx in the section where it says drag a httpSend, this did not appear in the Toolbox.
send control doesn´t have method GET, and ResponseContent
Any help??
Workflow Manager tools is not yet supported on Visual Studio 2013. We are still required to use Visual Studio 2012 to develop workflows for the Workflow Manager.
Edit : Seems like Microsoft has finally updated the description of the completed sample code to say that you need to stick with Visual Studio 2012 for WFM development. "WFM workflow authoring using WFM tools in VS 2013 is not supported at this time"

I have a windows form project and I want to create an installation package for this project. How can I create a setup file in Visual Studio 2012 ? My project is without data base.
How to create a Setup package using Visual Studio 2012.NET?
Microsoft released the Visual Studio Installer Project extension in April of this year, the catch is it's for VS2013, not VS2012.

The 'lite' InstallShield option remains in VS if you need something with more flexibility.
Advanced Installer also has a free version that includes an extension for VS. This is a commercial tool but the extension is included in the free edition as I said, for more advanced features you need to purchase a Professional or higher licenses and edit the project direct from Advanced Installer GUI, not from VS. (but you can still use the project in the VS solution, so you get the MSI built at the end of your build process)
Visual Studio setup projects (vdproj) are not supplied with VS 2012
There are several solutions for you:
You could use InstallShield instead.
If you don't want or
can't use InstallShield for any reason, you could try WiX. This
toolset builds Windows installation packages from XML source code.
If you only use Windows Presentation Foundation (.xbap), Windows Forms (.exe), console application (.exe), or Office solution (.dll) you could look at ClickOnce. To use this you should right click on the project file in the solution explorer and select "Publish" from the pop-up menu.
Alternatively you can use previous version of Visual Studio (2010).
I can't seem to access the Architecture Tools available in Visual Studio 2012 Premium Version 11.0.60610.01 Update 4 using .Net Version 4.5.50709
My only visible menu options on startup are:
FILE
EDIT
VIEW
DEBUG
TEAM
SQL
TOOLS
TEST
ANALYZE
WINDOW
HELP
And with a project open these two extra items appear:
PROJECT
BUILD
There is nothing under the any of the menus related to Architecture Tools except for
VIEW > Toolbars > Architecture Designers
The Architecture Designers toobar's buttons are all grayed out when enabled.
Do I need to do something extra after the Visual Studio 2012 install to make them show up?
Does it only work for certain types of projects (I am trying to make an MVC4 project)? Does it have to be enabled on a per-project basis?
Is there a difference between how the Architecture tools work in Premium vs Ultimate?
Isn't it only available in VS 2012 Ultimate? (which used to be called "Architecture Edition".)
