Do you know any IoT sensor for speed detection of a human and sending it to a mobile application?
In other words, I am looking for a very small IoT sensor that sends the speed data of players of a sports team to a mobile application.
I am not sure if your budget allows it, but I know Garmin has a few APIs for collecting data from their fitness trackers, like speed. They call it Flexible and Interoperable Data Transfer Protocol or "FIT". The only downside is that the data must be collected from their Garmin Connect site, not direct from device. It also has a pretty hefty one time fee to access the data for your application. But depending on your budget and audience, perhaps it is worth looking in to! Hope this helps.
You can check out the SDK for FIT here to see if it is worth your time:

my team is developing a chatbot using nodejs botbuilder, LUIS, QnAMaker & Twilio we've managed to build a chatbot
the problem is the Performance of the chatbot is a little less compared to other chatbots i've seen, i feel the callback from twilio is causing some delay cause when running in local bot emulator the performance is good.
so my question is that, is there any other way to create a chatbot for whatsapp other than twilio which would give me a better performance?
or any tips to improve performance?
For your first question, you can see a list of Twilio alternatives here: https://bstrategyhub.com/twilio-competitors-alternatives/
If you build a bot with C#, there are some adapters you can use for Infobip, MessageBird, and RingCentral: https://github.com/BotBuilderCommunity/botbuilder-community-dotnet/tree/master/libraries
If you want to stick with Node, you may need to make your own adapter.
Regarding performance, you'll need to gather telemetry to see where the messages are getting delayed and address the problem there. If the problem is on the WhatsApp side for example, you could try contacting WhatsApp support and ask them to look into it.

I am trying to leverage bluetooth (GATT, GAP, Security Manager, Pairing, Broadcast etc...) using BlueZ.
To decode BlueZ however I need access to full bluetooth core/protocol specifications. As an individual developer, where can I get hold of these specifications?
The membership to Bluetooth SIG requires me to be part of an incorporated company and I am asked to send them filing details etc...
Is there a way to get hold of Bluetooth Core Specs for individuals and hobby developers?
Importantly does BlueZ fully implement all Bluetooth Core specifications?
The Bluetooth specification should be free to download for everyone. You can find the latest specification at the following link:-
https://www.bluetooth.com/specifications/bluetooth-core-specification/
Make sure to click at the "5.1" link.
BlueZ is fully compliant with the Bluetooth specification, however, it does not support all the available features in the specification.
I hope this helps.

At the moment we are a small development team of 2. All our software is used inhouse. Currently staff just walk to our desk when they want new software developed or when they want new features added to existing software, or when bugs arise.
I am looking for a better management process of this. Do I get staff to send an email instead and then that can be designated to a developer. Or is there a simple software app out there that could help?
I want a simple method for doing this as the staff are unlikely to use something if too time consuming or complex. They find it too easy to approach a developer personally!
Anything to recommend please?
One option is to use JIRA. It has a feature where emails sent to a certain address can get turned in to backlog items (using the email subject line as the title).
Keep it as it is for now: face-to-face communication is always better than using any piece of software...
It will be only when you will grow to more developers that you will really need such software: from online or cloud based (ie Zimbra) to VCSs (version control systems) hosted on your machines.

I am want to start selling Android Applications on Google Play. I have checked other forums posts, I have found:
Google takes 30% of comission. So If I sell my app for $1 => then I would receive $0.7 as revenue.
Also noticed Google Checkout also has some fees on per transaction and monthly volume basis, i.e., $0.30 + 2.9% of amount
I want to know is Google Checkout transactions will also be deducted in addition to 30% commission by Google or is it the same.
I want to keep my application real cheap (counting on bulk selling)
Can Any of you please advise what is the deal with it
Thanks in advance

Does anyone know of a bug tracking piece of software that has community based features like rep, friends, badges and community based voting?
I'm looking for a hybrid of uservoice, stackoverflow and bugzilla. Does such a beast exist?
A commercial offering is Get Satisfaction which offers a similar service. Their main selling point is to encourage your users to help other users, with the ability for your staff to intervene and help. It also integrates with your web application.
See the "what it is" page - I would post a link but it redirects you if you follow a link from here.
Part feedback system, part community engine, completely different than anything you've had a chance to test with your customers.
14,000 companies. Thousands of employees participating in conversations. Millions of users. What gives?
