Unable to use file endpoint in Mule on Linux server - linux

Everytime I try to poll network drive on linux machine, it gets failed. I've tried both the options giving the absolute path and the mount path of the network drive. It is specifically giving errors when my Mule Runtime is also on Linux, on Windows it is working perfectly fine. Here is my flow:
I've also tried path="/ihr_dev_test/Dev/Ingest_Storage/Practitioner", since ihr_dev_test is mounted on my linux server, but every time I get the same error:
I'm running my Mule workflow on linux Machine, following is the Stacktrace:

Cisco UCCX Script - "Unknown Host" error thrown when calling subflow

I have a fairly simple UCCX script that is supposed to call a subflow. I'm using the UCCX editor to actively debug the script. When it gets to the step where it is supposed to call the subflow it throws a script exception with the text:
Uknown host: host.docker.internal; nested exception is:
java.net.UnknownHostException: host.docker.internal; nested exception is:
java.rmi.UnknownHostException: Unknown host: host.docker.internal; nested exception is:
java.net.UnknownHostException: host.docker.internal
I've tested on a different computer and it works fine, the subflow is called with no error. I do have docker installed on my computer but I'm unsure how/why it would be interfering with a subflow call. I use docker for completely different development work so I don't want to uninstall it. The script also works fine when uploaded to the CCX server and executed through the triggering application. It only seems to give this exception when debugging on my workstation.
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

Unable to install logstash plugin

Logstash 5.1.1 on Windows 7 32bit, trying without success to install logstash-filter-elapsed. Below the method I tried.
Before running plugin installer, I run:
set DEBUG=1
to show debug output.
Then I run:
logstash-plugin install logstash-filter-elapsed
This fails both when I'm in my corporate network (with proxy) and when using a network without proxy, with the following error:
Looking if package named: logstash-filter-elapsed exists at https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/logstash-plugins/logstash-filter-elapsed/logstash-filter-elapsed-5.1.1.zip

It seems that there's a timeout in contacting the url "https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/logstash-plugins/logstash-filter-elapsed/logstash-filter-elapsed-5.1.1.zip".
Opening this url in a browser returns an xml with an error message (seems like the xml you when trying to access a not existing object from a AWS S3 bucket).
Adding the --no-verify flag yelds the same result.
EDIT
I tried to bypass this problematic "Looking if package named:..." step: I edited logstash-5.1.1\lib\pluginmanager\pack_fetch_strategy\repository.rb, adding a return nil at the beginning of the def get_installer_for(plugin_name).
Running the installation, I get another error:

Error opening zip file or JAR manifest missing : jrebel.jar

When configuring JRebel on my remote server (JBoss on linux) I have configured the JVM arg as
-javaagent:/home/user/jrebel.jar" -Drebel.remoting_plugin=true
The jrebel.jar is absolutely definitely in that location, yet the server fails to start with the error:
Error opening zip
file or JAR manifest missing : /home/user/jrebel.jar Error occurred
during initialization of VM agent library failed to init: instrument
So the arg is oviously being passed to the JVM correctly, but for the life of me I can't work out why it can't find the jar. I've been through every Zero Turnaround article I can find + looked at the solutions that have resolved it for other people, but no luck. Any ideas?
Turned out to be a permissions problem - the JBoss user didn't have the permissions to access the directory that I had placed jrebel.jar into.
Would have been nice to have a more meaningfull error - e.g. 'permissions denied'. Shows my lack of Linux knowledge though I guess.
After the jar was moved to a directory within the JBoss installation + the jar owner was changed to the JBoss user and Read/Write/Execute permissions added, all is well.
Yes , the permission is the reason that this error happens to me when I tried to open PHPSTORM and that error was :
Error opening zip file or JAR manifest missing : ${JetbrainsIdesCrackPath}
Error occurred during initialization of VM
agent library failed to init: instrument
so before running PHPSTORM I had to run the command : sudo -i to get the root permission to run the program.

Flyway connecting to a Database Cluster on Linux

I'm trying to connect to an Oracle Cluster using Flyway-Commandline. It works fine from DOS using:
# Ommitting the other params for brevity: jarDir, locations, user, password, driver etc
flyway clean -url="jdbc:oracle:thin:#(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST = my_host_1)(PORT=8020))(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST = my_host_2)(PORT=8020))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVER=DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME=MY_SERVICE_NAME)))"
But when I do the same on linux I get an error:
ERROR: FlywayException: Unable to obtain Jdbc connection from DataSource
ERROR: Occured in com.googlecode.flyway.core.util.jdbc.JdbcUtils.openConnection() at line 56
ERROR: Caused by oracle.net.ns.NetException: NL Exception was generated
ERROR: Occured in oracle.net.resolver.AddrResolution.resolveAddrTree() at line 626
It works fine on both platforms if I connect directly to one of the hosts directly using:
flyway clean -url=jdbc:oracle:thin:#my_host_1:8020/MY_SERVICE_NAME
The problem is that when one host in the cluster goes down, which happens regularly, this stops working.
This sounds like a problem with your Linux environment and not with Flyway itself.

Why is Web Deployment Agent Service (MsDepSvc) crashing with a FileNotFoundException?

I'm attempting to deploy a .NET 4 web application to a Windows 2008R2 server using Web Deploy V2. As part of this deployment we copy some batch files to the target machine. When I execute the command below, Web Deployment Agent Service (MsDepSvc) stops and a FileNotFoundException is logged to the system Application event log.
The web deploy command:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\IIS\Microsoft Web Deploy V2\msdeploy.exe" -verb:sync -source:contentPath="C:\work\27f84e3eca3a33d5\Output\BatchFiles" -dest:contentPath="c:_DeployCommands",computerName="192.168.1.14"

How can I diagnose this?
We ran into a similar issue. You're best bet is to decompile using ILSpy and add extra logging in every catch block and replace the exe on the client to see the exact error. In our scenario, we used on older version 7.1.1631.0 that works. There's a newer version 7.1.1762.0 that's caused the problem. The exe is copied from the client and not the server.
I had the exact same issue. It turned out to be a bug in Web Deploy 3.5 as described here: Could not find file or assembly Microsoft.Web.Deployment.Tracing with Web Deploy V3 using tempagent
