I want to launch a program but it automatically shuts down with the following error message:
Object Type System.Configuration.Internal.ConfigurationManagerInternal cannot be converted to type System.Configuration.Internal.IConfigSystem
I suppose this is C# .Net programming? How can I solve this?

Hi, I have a NodeJs+Ts+Architect setup for building and deploying lambda functions. Architect uses typescript plugin to compile typescript. I am trying to use Error class to throw errors.
However, Typescript is picking up Error type from
/Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/extensions/node_modules/typescript/lib/lib.es5.d.ts.
In the image below, please note the constructor signature only accepts message field. And the error interface does not have an options object either. Please
look at Browser Error Class or NodeJs Error Class to see the signatures.
Node Error has the following constructor signature and Error interface.
Problem
Getting TS Error for trying to use constructor signature of Node Error as Typescript is reading Error type from lib.es5.d.ts which accepts only 1 argument
Possible Solutions which I know
Declare global Error type ( Need help here. Since Architect is compiling TS using its plugin, I am not able to declare and override Error interface )
Use your own Error class
I hope the question made sense. Would appreciate if there is a nicer way to solve this, but I am not getting ample discussions on Architect+Ts+NodeJs.
The cause option was introduced in ES2022. You would need to use at least that version for your lib types.
Change the lib version in your tsconfig.json to:
"compilerOptions": { "lib": ["es2022"] }
While multiple lot Allocation I am getting error:
Unable to cast object of type 'PX.Objects.IN.INLotSerialStatus'
to type 'PX.Objects.IN.Overrides.INDocumentRelease.LotSerialStatus'.
First unpublish all customization and try to reproduce the issue.
If it goes away re-publish customizations one by one until you find the one causing the cast error.
Review the code of the customization for all references to INLotSerialStatus and LotSerialStatus. Also look at Acumatica traces to find more details about the error.
A LotSerialStatus object is also a INLotSerialStatus because LotSerialStatus inherits from INLotSerialStatus. This is a valid assignment.
The inverse is not true, maybe there is an invalid assignment for which no cast is possible in the source code of the customization:
I am trying to follow the websocket tutorial that can be found here in the readme of this python github repo:

For my use case, I want the client to not pass a string to the websocket server but rather an object. When I tried replacing the generic "Hello World!" parameter that the client sends to the server though I get the following error:
TypeError: data must be bytes or str
Ok, makes sense. Obviously websocket requires a string or a bytes object to be passed from client to server. My question is how do i easily convert a generic object of some custom class I've created to the bytes/string type using the best practice problem. Obviously, I would also like to be able to convert the object back from the bytes class to the original class type I have declared.
When searching I couldn't find anything talking about how to do this (only how to do this for strings) and tried hard casting by passing my object into the bytes() method but this threw an error.
Thoughts?
I am an idiot. Converting the object to JSON works.
I want to show more beautiful error message to my users.
For example if someone types integer i= the error message no viable alternative at input '<EOF>' appears. That's totally fine and predictable due to my grammar rules but I'm figuring out ways to improve those messages. If the = is missing in the example above the message changes to mismatched input '<EOF>' expecting '='. Again predictable but I can do more stuff on things like this in my code than on a general input error.
Should I catch them in the code and try to evaluate which cases is meant? Or is there a better way to handle this?
Typically you'd create your own error listener and add it to the parser where you can deal with the error yourself. For that remove any existing error listeners (one for the console is automatically registered by default), by calling parser.removeErrorListeners();. Define an own error listener class derived from BaseErrorListener and add an instance of that to your parser via parser.addErrorListener(yourListener);. You can see an example of such a custom error listener in the ANTLR runtime (search for XPathLexerErrorListener). Override the syntaxError method and use the provided info to generate your own error message. There is already a message passed in to this method (in addition to other stuff like line + char position, exception etc.), which you cannot customize as it comes directly from generated code. So best is probably to leave that alone and start from scratch (the passed in exception is your best option you have).
I have a wcf service and i want to pass a string[] through it. I am receiving the below error. Can someone point me in the right direction ?

For others who get to the same error, the fix was to add :[ServiceKnownType(typeof(string[]))] in my interface class.
