Orchard Feature Item Slider - orchardcms

I'm trying to find out where the MOdule Feauture Item Slider in Orchard stored it's ImgUrl, I don't see any field that store its image in the table.
.Select(fi => new FeaturedItemViewModel {
Headline = fi.Headline,
SubHeadline = fi.SubHeadline,
LinkUrl = fi.LinkUrl,
SeparateLink = fi.SeparateLink,
LinkText = fi.LinkText,
ImagePath = fi.Fields.Single(f => f.Name == "Picture").Storage.Get<string>(""),
SlideNumber = ++slideNumber
}).ToList();
What is this field?
ImagePath = fi.Fields.Single(f => f.Name == "Picture").Storage.Get("")
I can't find any Name Field in the FeaturedItemPartRecord table
Thanks,
Samuel

That would be an orchard field so it is stored in the Data column of the Orchard_Framework_ContentItemVersionRecord table. It is part of the XML document. Sebastien Ros has a decent blog post explaining orchard's database structure http://sebastienros.com/understanding-orchard-s-database

I think I found it, it's Projections_StringFieldIndexRecord
Thank you

Orchard - how to access taxonomy field of a custom content type programmatically

I have a custom content type called Store, which has a Brands taxonomy field. A Store can have multiple Brands associated with it.
I have been tasked with building an import/export routine that allows the user to upload a CSV file containing new Stores and their associated Brands.
I can create the Stores other fields OK, but can't work out how to set the taxonomy field?
Can anyone tell me how I access the Taxonomy field for my custom content type?
Thanks in advance.
OK so (as Bertrand suggested), using the Import/Export feature might be a better way to go, but as a relative noob on Orchard I don't have the time to spend looking at it and couldn't find a good tutorial.
Below is an alternative approach, using the TaxonomyService to programatically assign Terms to a ContentItem.
First of all, inject the ContentManager and TaxonomyService into the constructor...
private ITaxonomyService _taxonomyService;
private IContentManager _contentManager;
public MyAdminController(IContentManager contentManager, ITaxonomyService taxonomyService)
{
_contentManager = contentManager;
_taxonomyService = taxonomyService;
}
Create your ContentItem & set the title
var item = _contentManager.New("MyContentType");
item.As<TitlePart>().Title = "My New Item";
_contentManager.Create(item);
Now we have a ContentItem to work with. Time to get your taxonomy & find your term(s)...
var taxonomy = _taxonomyService.GetTaxonomyByName("Taxonomy Name");
var termPart = _taxonomyService.GetTermByName(taxonomy.Id, "Term Name");
Add the terms to a List of type TermPart...
List<TermPart> terms = new List<TermPart>();
terms.Add(termPart);
Finally, call UpdateTerms, passing in the ContentItem, terms to assign and the name of the field on the ContentItem you want to update...
_taxonomyService.UpdateTerms(item, terms.AsEnumerable<TermPart>(), "My Field");
Hope this helps someone. Probably me next time round! : )

Xpages view after search

How can I get a column documents from a view after search? I know that with #DbColumn(#DbName(),"viewName",#) I can get the # column documents from the view, but it is not updating after search... The values are the same as before filtered...
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Florin
You could do a search in your view via SSJS and then loop through the entry collection afterwards to fetch the column values, e.g.
var view = database.getView("myView");
var col = view.search("searchformula", null, 0);
var ent = col.getFirstEntry();
while(ent!=null){
var colvalue = ent.getColumnValues()[index];
ent = col.getNextEntry(ent);
}

complex entityframework query

I have two tables:
NewsRooms ( NrID[int] , NrName [string]);
RawNews( RnID [int], NrID[string]);
realtion is RawNews 1 * NewsRooms
so i use checkboxes for NewsRooms and save the ids as a string in RawNews like this ';1;2;'
now for example i have a list which contains some NrIDs . i want to select every RawNew which it's NrID contains any of the ids inside that list.
here is my code:
var temp = Util.GetAvailibleNewsRooms("ViewRawNews");
List<string> ids = new List<string>();
foreach (var item in temp)
ids.Add(";" + item.NrID.ToString() + ";");
model = db.RawNews.Where(r => r.NrID.Any(ids));
the line model = db.RawNews.Where(r => r.NrID.Any(ids)); is wrong and i don't know how to write this code. please guide me. thanks
ok guys, i found the solution myself so i post it here maybe some other guy need it some day!!
model = model.Where(r => ids.Any(i => r.NrID.Contains(i)));

Enterprise Keyword not updating in SharePoint 2010

Any idea how to inject values to the Enterprise Keywords column of a List / Doc Lib Item using code?
Tried the following, it didn't give any error, but that column wouldn't update, while the Title did.
using (var site = new SPSite("http://testweb"))
{
using (var web = site.OpenWeb("testsite1"))
{
var list = web.Lists["testlist1"];
var item = list.AddItem();
item["Title"] = string.Format("Injected from code on {0}", DateTime.Now.ToString());
item["Enterprise Keywords"] = "1;#Opera|4eed0518-9676-4afc-be20-9027b3b69e42";
item.Update();
}
}
In this code, Opera keyword has been added previously, I've checked it against the TaxonomyHiddenList list as well using code to extract the correct ID and IdForTerm (the GUID).
What am I missing here?
To add a taxonomy field value the approach is a little bit different. Please try:
TaxonomyField entKeyword = (TaxonomyField)item.Fields["Enterprise Keywords"];
TaxonomyFieldValue term = new TaxonomyFieldValue("1;#Opera|4eed0518-9676-4afc-be20-9027b3b69e42");
entKeyword.SetFieldValue(item,term);
in stead of:
item["Enterprise Keywords"] = "1;#Opera|4eed0518-9676-4afc-be20-9027b3b69e42";

Sharepoint Custom List with TimeStamp Field

I'm making a custom SharePoint List. I need a TimeStamp Field, but the only available type, by default, is DateTime.
Any help?
I think you would need to create a custom field type so that you can control the display of a DateTime type and validation etc - see this blog post for more info
I had the same problem in Sharepoint 2010 and solved it. Posting in case someone else finds this useful :)
To achieve this one must use the "Calculated" columntype.
From GUI:
Create new column
Pick type "Calculated".
Select "Created" column and add to formula.
Save.
From code:
As far as I can tell, there is two options to achieve this:
Access the "Created" and either set it's ShowInDisplayForm property to true or add the column to a view (for example the DefaultView).
Create a calculated column that points to the "Created" column, just as the GUI-example does. The trick is to set the "Formula" & the "OutputType" properties.
SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges(delegate()
{
using (SPSite site = new SPSite(siteUrl))
{
using (SPWeb web = site.RootWeb)
{
SPList list = web.Lists["test"];
string fieldName = list.Fields.Add("Timestamptest", SPFieldType.Calculated, false);
SPFieldCalculated field = list.Fields[fieldName] as SPFieldCalculated;
field.Formula = "=Created";
field.OutputType = SPFieldType.DateTime;
field.ShowInEditForm = false;
field.Update();
list.Update();
SPView defaultView = list.DefaultView;
defaultView.ViewFields.Add(field);
defaultView.Update();
}
}
});
