Mongodb: Invalid Command error - node.js

I'm developing web application using node js and mongo db. Initially I got this error - failed to connect to [localhost:27017]. I followed the steps in this answer [Link: https://stackoverflow.com/a/39276869/7697507]. But, after doing the 3rd step, I am getting this error.
Can anyone please let me know how to solve it?

Windows doesn't allow spaces in paths like this.
Try:
mongod --dbpath "C:\Users\dell pc\Desktop\Real Safe\final\data"
With the path in quotes.

Newbie: Can't connect to database using browser

Recently installed Neo4J on a Raspberry Pi on a docker container (portainer). Everything seems to working fine. I can open a terminal in Portainer and run commands. I can see there are two DB and I can even run Cypher commands (cut and pasted the Movie entries). But I'm not able to run any commands using the browser. I seem to be able to connect the browser (http://localhost:7474/browser/) and see the ":play movie-graph" run. But when I try to run the query to enter movie data, I get the following error: "ERROR: Neo.DatabaseError.General.UnknownError" Running :sysinfo doesn't return any results. Also the cursor is $ as opposed to a DB name. And don't see any databases in the Database menu on the left.
Again, I'm able to run queries using Cypher Shell through a Portainer terminal.
Here are the container details:

I'm sure it is something silly I'm missing, but reading multiple forum comments haven't help. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

When you load the neo4jbrowser from your internet browser at:
http://localhost:7474/browser
, you need to connect to the bolt advertised address of your neo4j server at:
bolt://localhost:7687

Travis gives me Redis connection to localhost:6379 failed - connect ECONNREFUSED

I'm trying to test a node.js module using Travis, but all I get is "Redis connection to localhost:6379 failed - connect ECONNREFUSED".
Can someone please tell me what am I doing wrong? The latest build is at: https://travis-ci.org/luiselizondo/config-persistence/builds/65187913
Thanks
I had a look at your problem and it seems the problem is due to the format of your .travis.yml file.
I forked your project and removed the leading spaces in front of the language and node_js fields. I have created a pull request here that shows the changes I made.
You can see the result of my build here.
Hope this helps!

Unable to query mongolab mongodb

I'm using the Nodejitsu and their packaged Mongolab MongoDB database. I ran the command jitsu databases get myDB and I got instructions on how to connect via mongo CLI. The out put of that command has a line that says the following:
help: Connect with the `mongo` cli client:
help:
$ mongo ds039267.mongolab.com:39267/nodejitsu_xxxxxx_nodejitsudb8577296358 -u nodejitsu_xxxxxx -p mypassword
NOTE: This is the first time I am connecting to this instance via the CLI. I only created the database name through jitsu databases create…
I am using Mongo Shell version 1.8.3. I connected to my instance of MongoDB. I tried running the command: show dbs and I got:
uncaught exception: listDatabases failed:{ "ok" : 0, "errmsg" : "unauthorized" }
I am using Mongoose and I have a model called Post. I tried to run: db.post.find() in the CLI, I got:
error: { "$err" : "not authorized for query on hotel.post", "code" : 16550 }
What does this mean? Am I not authorized; I thought I connected successfully?
Updated
I upgraded my mongo shell to the latest, 2.4.x version and still I'm getting this problem. Anyone have any experience with nodejitsu & mongolab?
MongoLab creates databases that require an authenticated user to access. When you connect with the Shell, you will need to provide the UserName and Password to the shell command. Docs are here.
mongo --username Mark --password something
You will need that Username/Password combination to be configured within mongoose as well. The Mongoose docs have details on the possible ways to do this.
Note that you are using a very old shell. 1.8.3 is about 4 versions back from the current 2.4.* line. This is not directly related to your problem, but it's definitely something you should rectify going forward.
Inside the mongo shell try to authenticate once again:
db.auth('yourUsername','yourPassword');
One possible error could be like me : Using special chars in the password breaks the URI!
The generated password was
X/apm~nq5JaJ,5
So OBVIOUSLY, the / broke the request and I got :
MongoError: not authorized for query on apm~nq5JaJ.system.indexes
You can try to include at the end of your URI: ?authMode=scram-sha1

Problem with node.js and Redis-server?

I intended to implement a chat feature in my rails application. After a brief backup work I found JUGGERNAUT is the best option. By going to through http://juggernaut.rubyforge.org/
I have successfully implemented the juggernaut in my application.
Presently I'm all set to implement chat feature and after a vigorous surfing over web I couldn't get good tutorial to implement it but I found the some part of implementation at http://www.golygon.com/2010/12/private-chat-room-in-ruby-on-rails-3-0/. I decided to follow it but initially to implement the tutorial we need to have redis server and node.js in our system. I installed both in my environment.
But I'm facing the following problem as follows:
If I try
redis-server, I'm getting the following error
[11440] 08 Aug 10:08:16 # Warning: no config file specified, using the default config. In order to specify a config file use 'redis-server /path/to/redis.conf'
[11440] 08 Aug 10:08:16 # Opening port: bind: Address already in use
and as per the tutorial
if I try
sudo node server.js, I'm getting the following error
[sudo] password for re5:
node.js:63
throw e;
^
Error: ENOENT, No such file or directory '/home/re5/Documents/task17/server.js'

at node.js:773:9
As I don't know much about the redis and node I'm unable to figure out what was the problem regarding to this errors.
I'm stuck and couldn't go further as I'm not sure whether this two are configured perfectly or not.
currently I'm using rails 3.0.7 and ruby 1.8.7
Can any one help me out.
Well your first error is quite simple to understand.
[11440] 08 Aug 10:08:16 # Opening port: bind: Address already in use
This means that there is aready a server bound to that port and using it as a server, this can happen if you have other applications/servers running or if you try to have mutiple instances of the server run at one time. To fix this you need to stop the process and then start it back up again. You can usually do this by closing all of your terminal windows or using your operating systems process manager to terminate the process, if those methods dont work for you try shutting your computer down and starting it back up. If you are still unable to start the Redis server after this then there are some more steps we can take.
The next error is due to node.js not being able to find a file that it needs. Reinstalling node.js should fix this problem for you.
Let me know if this fixes your problem or if you need more help.

Cassandra unknown exception

I have managed to set up Cassandra + Thrift and the Python wrapper for Thrift LazyBoy, and I have followed an example mentioned in the LazyBoy Wiki.After testing that example I'm getting an error with an exception.
cassandra.ttypes.InvalidRequestException: InvalidRequestException(why='Keyspace
UserData does not exist in this schema.')
here's the exception.I'm expecting some helping hand.
Thanks.
Make sure that the keyspace 'UserData' exists in your configuration file (conf/storage-conf.xml)
E.g
<Keyspaces>
<Keyspace Name="UserData">
....
</Keyspaces>
For those just starting out with Cassandra/Pycassa then maybe you've been working through this tutorial and you get stuck on the line
col_fam = pycassa.ColumnFamily(pool, 'Standard1')
with an error that looks like
pycassa.cassandra.ttypes.InvalidRequestException: InvalidRequestException(why='Keyspace Keyspace1 does not exist')
To resolve this, start Cassandra
bin/cassandra -f
And then in another terminal window load the sample schema using
bin/cassandra-cli -host localhost --file conf/schema-sample.txt
Then you should make it past that line in the tutorial.
