Hi guys i need a shell script that can open for example msfconsole and then type commands in it, i made a very basic script but of course it stops when msfconsole starts... can you give me some example?

this is the basic dumb script i made:

service postgresql start && sleep 4 && msfconsole && sleep 15 && quit
As you can see i first start postgresql and then i start msfconsole and when i try to close it i can't because i'm not in the shell but im into metasploit.
If you want commands in your script to be read by msfconsole, you need to direct them to its stdin; otherwise, they're only read by the shell itself (which is waiting for msfconsole to exit before it proceeds).
One way to redirect a set of text to a given command is with a heredoc:
#!/bin/bash
service postgresql start || exit
msfconsole <<EOF
sleep 15
quit
EOF
I am not familiar with msfconsole but if you execute it then you get a prompt to enter commands then the following method I use to partition may ssd with gdisk, may work for you.

I am currently using the following command to run reboot
sudo shutdown -r now
however, I would need to run it for 5 loops before and after executing some other programs. Was wondering if it is possible to do it in MINT environment?
First a disclaimer: I haven't tried this because I don't want to reboot my machine right now...
Anyway, the idea is to make a script that can track it's iteration progress to a file as #david-c-rankin suggested. This bash script could look like this (I did test this):

Then add a call to this script somewhere where it will be run on boot. eg. cron (#reboot) or systemd. Don't forget to remove it from a startup/boot command when you're finished or next time you reboot, it will reboot N times.
Not sure exactly how you are planning on using it, but the general workflow would look like:
save script to /path/to/reboot_five_times.sh
add script to run on boot (cron, etc.)
do stuff (manually or in a script)
call the script
computer reboots 5 times
anything in the second TODO section of the script is then run
go back to step 3, or if finished remove from cron/systemd so it won't reboot when you don't want it to.
First create a text document wherever you want,I created one on Desktop,
Then use this file as a physical counter and write a daemon file to run things at startup
For example:

I found a way to create a file at startup for my reboot script. I incorporated it with the answers provided by swalladge and also shubh. Thank you so much!

I create a /etc/rc.local file to execute user3089519's script, and this works for my case. (And for bootloop.txt, I put it here: /usr/local/share/bootloop.txt )
First: sudo nano /etc/rc.local
Then edit this:
#!/bin/bash
#TODO: things you want to execute when system boot.
/path/to/reboot_five_times.sh
exit 0
Then it works.
Don't forget edit /etc/rc.local and remove /path/to/reboot_five_times.sh when you done reboot cycling.
I have a java code I want to run on startup ,
but I wnat to be able to see the code running on the CMD.(like when I run the java manually)

From what i see, you have to option.
First you maybe need to wait a moment before the next command, witch is exit 0 and will for sure exit, execute itself. Like this you will have time to read output.
Try to add sleep 1m befor exit 0
you will find more info on this command on google if you need, but 1m in exemple is for 1 minute
Other solution is to change a bit your java programm to wait for a user intput like for exemple:
System.out.println("\n Hit Return to exit... ");
String kS = scan.nextLine();
System.exit(0);
like this the java prog. will wait till you press return.

I tried to upload them into my server, then try to run it via curl
I am not sure why the input prompt never kick in when I use cURL/wget.
Am I missing anything?
With the curl ... | bash form, bash's stdin is reading the script, so stdin is not available for the read command.
Try using a Process Substitution to invoke the remote script like a local file:
bash <( curl -s ... )
Your issue can be simply be reproduced by run the script like below
$ cat test.sh | bash
Enter a valid SSC IP address. Ex. 1.1.1.1
This is because the bash you launch with a pipe is not getting a TTY, when you do a read -p it is read from stdin which is content of the test.sh in this case. So the issue is not with curl. The issue is not reading from the tty
So the fix is to make sure you ready it from tty
read < /dev/tty -p "Enter SSC IP: $ip " ip && ip=${ip:-1.1.1.1}
printf "\n"

Once you do that even curl will start working

I personally prefer source <(curl -s localhost/test.sh) option. While it is similar to bash ..., the one significant difference is how processes handled.
bash will result in a new process being spun up, and that process will evoke commands from the script.
source on the other hand will use current process to evoke commands from the script.
In some cases that can play a key role. I admit that is not very often though.
To demonstrate do the following:
### Open Two Terminals
# In the first terminal run:
echo "sleep 5" > ./myTest.sh
bash ./myTest.sh
# Switch to the second terminal and run:
ps -efjh
## Repeat the same with _source_ command
# In the first terminal run:
source ./myTest.sh

Running bash (main + two subprocesses):

Difference in use variable usage by bash and source:
source command will use your current environment. Meaning that upon execution all changes and variable declarations, made by the script, will be available in your prompt.
bash on the other hand will be running in as a different process; therefore, all variables will be discarded when process exits.
I think everyone will agree that there are benefits and drawbacks to each method. You just have to decide which one is better for your use case.
## Test for variables declared by the script:
echo "test_var3='Some Other Value'" > ./myTest3.sh
bash ./myTest3.sh
echo $test_var3
source ./myTest3.sh
echo $test_var3
## Test for usability of current environment variables:
test_var="Some Value" # Setting a variable

I placed a link to my scripts in the rc.local to autostart it on linux debian boot. It starts and then stops at the while loop. It's a netcat script that listens permantently on port 4001.

When I start this script as root with command ./myscript it works 100% correctly. Need nc (netcat) root level access or something else?

In an rc script you have root level access by default. What does "it stops at the while loop" mean? It quits after a while, or so? I guess you need to run your loop in the background in order to achieve functionality usual in autostart scripts:

I have tested yersterday approximatly the same things, and I have discover that you can bypass the system and execute your netcat script with the following crontask. :
(every minute, but you can ajust that as you want.)
* * * * * /home/kali/script-netcat.sh // working for me
#reboot /home/kali/script-netcat.sh // this is blocked by the system.
According to me, I think that by default debian (and maybe others linux distrib) block every script that try to execute a netcat command.
I got a simple script (to measure CPU overhead)

When I run it as

It works as expected.
But when I run it as
./Script.sh&
it does nothing (files are not created). What am I missing here?
Change the line where you invoke top to be:
top -b -n 1 > t.$i
