htaccess rewrite if subdomain is not present - .htaccess

I have a subdomain created to use as cookiless domain which is like cdn.domain.com
And on the main site I have www.domain.com. Whatever I call it comes as www.cdn.domain.com. I am using cdn.domain.com to call images etc.
Here you can see actual htaccess setting
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^GET.*index\.php [NC]
RewriteRule (.*?)index\.php/*(.*) /$1$2 [R=301,NE,L]
#First rewrite any request to the wrong domain to use the correct one (here www.)
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
#Now, rewrite to HTTPS:
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|images|robots|public|sitemap.xml|favicon.ico|\.txt|\.html)
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php?/$1 [L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} libwww-perl.*
RewriteRule .* ? [F,L]
</IfModule>
How I can get https://cdn.domain.com without affectting any change to main domain settings?

I think you're looking for this:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^[^.]+\.[^.]+$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,R=301]
Your htaccess would look like this now:
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^GET.*index\.php [NC]
RewriteRule (.*?)index\.php/*(.*) /$1$2 [R=301,NE,L]
#First rewrite any request to the wrong domain to use the correct one (here www.)
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^[^.]+\.[^.]+$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,R=301]
#Now, rewrite to HTTPS:
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|images|robots|public|sitemap.xml|favicon.ico|\.txt|\.html)
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php?/$1 [L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} libwww-perl.*
RewriteRule .* ? [F,L]
</IfModule>

RewriteRule for subdomain to subfolder .htaccess

I'm trying to accomplish the following:
non-http force to https - works
www force to non-www - works
website loaded from subfolder (/web) - works
test.example.com load different subfolder (/test) - does not work
4, Does not work, the condition is met to go to /web. Can't understand how to change this into /test
the .htaccess code I use:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^test.example.com$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /test/$1 [L,NC,QSA]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.example.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://example.com/$1 [L,R=301]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example.com$ [NC,OR]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /example/web/$1 [L,NC,QSA]
With your shown samples please try following htaccess rules file here. Please make sure to clear your browser cache before testing your URLs. In case you have further more rules(apart from shown ones) then make sure these Rules are before those rules.
RewriteEngine On
##Apply https to uris here..
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !on
RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [NE,L,R=301]
##Apply non-www to uris here..
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(?:www\.)(example\.com)$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^ https://%1%{REQUEST_URI} [NE,L,R=301]
##Apply test to all uris here..
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/test [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)/?$ example/web/$1 [L,NC,QSA]
##Apply test to all uris here..
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^test\.example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/test [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)/?$ www.example.com/test/$1 [L,NC,QSA]

do not redirect for certain file

I have the following htaccess file. I do not want to perform a redirect from https to http on a certain file. how can i achieve this?
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.spectrumasa.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.spectrumgeo.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^intranet.spectrumasa.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.spectrumgeo.com/ [R=302,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.asb.com.au$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.spectrumgeo.com/ [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.spectrum-geopex\.com\.eg$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.spectrumgeo.com/spectrum-geopex [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} on
RewriteRule (.*) http://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
</IfModule>
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !=/server-status
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress
I would like to access only the following through https http://www.spectrumgeo.com/wp-content/uploads/Spectrum_logo_email-171w.jpg
Add a condition to your rule:
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} on
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/wp-content/uploads/Spectrum_logo_email-171w\.jpg$
RewriteRule (.*) http://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
You can have something complex in picking with to redirect to https:// from http:// but you can accomplish a simple redirect on a single file via this method.
RewriteEngine
Redirect http://www.spectrumgeo.com/wp-content/uploads/Spectrum_logo_email-171w.jpg https://www.spectrumgeo.com/wp-content/uploads/Spectrum_logo_email-171w.jpg
This will solve accessing only the above url you have through https://

.htaccess remove index.php remove www. force https

I understand this is not necessarily an EE specific question, but it involves the classic EE removal of index.php from the URL as well as a couple more specific rewrites. It’s also a lazy question, as I’ve tried a few rewrite rule combinations and there are errors… so, what I’m after is (please).
Remove www.
Force https://
Remove index.php
The important note, is that on an (mt) Media Temple server when testing on subdomains such as dev.domain.com the good old multiple redirects problem is kicking in. Ideally there’s a way for one .htaccess file to rule them all. Many thanks in advance.
# Enable Rewrite Engine
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
# Force https
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
# Remove the www
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.(.+)$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://%1/$1 [R=301,L]
#Remove index.php
#strip index.php from the URL if that is all that is given
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,9}\ /([^/]+/)*index\.php\ HTTP/
RewriteRule ^(([^/]+/)*)index\.php$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/ [R=301,NS,L,QSA]
#strip index.php/* from the URL
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[^/]*/index\.php/ [NC]
RewriteRule ^index\.php/(.+) http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L,QSA]
# EE
#rewrite all non-image/js/css urls back to index.php if they are not files or directories
RewriteCond $1 !^(images|templates|themes)/ [NC]
RewriteCond $1 !\.(css|js|gif|jpe?g|png) [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L,QSA]
What worked for me (excluding the index.php part, only for removing WWW and forcing HTTPS), was this:
# Enable Rewrite Engine
RewriteEngine On
# Remove the www
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.(.+)$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%1/$1 [R=301,L]
# Force https, specify http_host
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^example\.com$
RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
#-----the following part is untested, but should work to answer the full quesiton including the index.php part
#Remove index.php
#strip index.php from the URL if that is all that is given
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,9}\ /([^/]+/)*index\.php\ HTTP/
RewriteRule ^(([^/]+/)*)index\.php$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/ [R=301,NS,L,QSA]
#strip index.php/* from the URL
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[^/]*/index\.php/ [NC]
RewriteRule ^index\.php/(.+) http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L,QSA]
# EE
#rewrite all non-image/js/css urls back to index.php if they are not files or directories
RewriteCond $1 !^(images|templates|themes)/ [NC]
RewriteCond $1 !\.(css|js|gif|jpe?g|png) [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php/$1 [L,QSA]
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/js/.*$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/$1 [QSA,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/css/.*$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/$1 [QSA,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/images/.*$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/$1 [QSA,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/fonts/.*$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/$1 [QSA,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/themes/.*$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/$1 [QSA,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/inc/.*$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/$1 [QSA,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/admin.php$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/$1 [QSA,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/public/.*$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /public/index.php?$1 [QSA,L]
</IfModule>

I want to remove the www from url on https using .htaccess

I want to remove the www from https url by .htaccess.
for example
i want to change
https://www.example.com/ to https://example.com/
I have tried many rules
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} =on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.example\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://example.come/$1 [L]
and
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} ^443
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.
RewriteRule (.*) https://example.com$1 [L,R,QSA]
and
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule .* https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
But nothing work. Please help me
Try:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.(.+)
RewriteCond %{HTTPS}s/%1 ^(on(s)|offs)/(.+)
RewriteRule ^ http%2://%3%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
Please make sure if you are using X-Forwarding then try this one:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.example\.com [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP:X-Forwarded-Proto} !https
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://example.com/$1 [R,L]

.htaccess permanent redirect (301) problem

I'm trying to redirect the www and non-www version of my .fr url to a .com url. the www works, but I can 't get the non-www working. Any idea why the non-www Rewrite isn't working?
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.domain\.fr$
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^domain\.fr$
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
Complete .htaccess
# Helicon ISAPI_Rewrite configuration file
# Version 3.1.0.44
RewriteEngine on
RewriteLogLevel 0
LogLevel debug
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www\.domain\.fr|domain\.fr)$
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domain.co.uk [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domain.org [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domain.net [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domain.de [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domain.eu [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteRule ^nl/js/(.*)$ /js/$1 [L, NC]
RewriteRule ^fr/js/(.*)$ /js/$1 [L, NC]
RewriteRule ^en/js/(.*)$ /js/$1 [L, NC]
RewriteRule ^nl/images/(.*)$ /images/$1 [L, NC]
RewriteRule ^fr/images/(.*)$ /images/$1 [L, NC]
RewriteRule ^en/images/(.*)$ /images/$1 [L, NC]
And a bunch of rewrite rules like this
RewriteRule ^nl/news.asp$ n_news.asp [R]
RewriteRule ^fr/news.asp$ f_news.asp [R]
RewriteRule ^en/news.asp$ e_news.asp [R]
As I understand (based on your htaccess) all what you want to do is to redirect ANY configured domain name to www.domain.com.
In this case try this single rule instead of separate rule for each TLD (co.uk, .org, .eu etc) that you have:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.domain\.com [NC]
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.domain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
So anything that is not www.domain.com will be redirected to it.
