Is there any CMS in nodeJS with customizable back-end? - node.js

I simply need a free open-source CMS to change design, layout and content at the front-end. I want to add payment processes at the back-end like paypal and stripe. It would be good if its in expressJS.

I'm going to create a new CMS in Node.js using Express.js for creating awesome blogs or shops, at all any website.
Its name is OpenPress.
You can get news about it here.
If you have any feature request or improvement, you can send an email to Me or file the issue at the OpenPress repository.

How does frontend apps hide backend API call URL's?

I'm fairly new to the webdev. I have a React frontend built with Vite, and a Node.js backend that uses MongoDB. I finished my little project and when It came to deploy it to my Linux server, I got confused about how to handle API calls.
Is there any way to hide API URL's on frontend apps? Because everything is done in client side, and frontend is basically an interface between user and backend, that should be impossible. But how does for example, big companies like Facebook handle this? If I go to Facebook and inspect the code, can I find the exact IP and API address that facebook backend serves me the posts? Or are there any tricks to make this more secure? What are the industry standards are on this topic?
The interface between your web application in the browser and your backend service is HTTP(s). There are HTTP verbs such as GET, POST, DELETE, etc. You can pass argument or information to your backend services via query parameters which are visible in the URL, or you can send it in the body of a request. An HTTP POST, for example would have a body that is not seen or viewable unless the end user made specific effort to view it.

Is frontend better or backend for integration with smart contract (erc721)?

I have developed my ethereum smart contract and I want to integrate it with my web application. But I don't know that is integration with ReactJS a better option or integration with nodejs a better one. Please give suggestions . Also I don't know how to do integration with backend through web3 library so please guide me about that.
When you are creating web3 app , most of the time you are not going to need a backend for that (Although you need a server to host your website) .
Working with and managing smart contracts are very easy at the front-end and there is no need for backend, but if your working on a large scale project , you are definitely going to need a backend for handling complex logics .
Next js is best option for both of that , containing node and react , also no need for manually configuring web server.
Better is next.js. I explained it here: https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/129547/next-js-versus-react-which-to-use-when-for-your-dapp/130040#130040
Not every browser has metamask extension. By using next.js, when our
code is taken and rendered on the server, on the next server we can
reach out to the Ethereum network and do some initial calls like data
fetching, or alist of items in your smart contract. we execute all of
those requests on the server. That means when next.js produces Html
documents to send down to the user browser, it does not matter whether
or not users are using metamask. It does not matter whether or not
they have access to an Ethereum network. Because we already take care
of the data fetching for them. So all the users out there who are not
using metamask are going to see some information on the screen.
You've mentioned that you don't want to switch technologies, and while I agree with NextJS being a good platform to develop dApps on, I suggest you just use your current NodeJS server for anything that isn't web3 related and you use the web3js library from the frontend (your React) which would be very similar to a NextJS app anyway.
This way you don't have to switch technologies.

Nodejs with database for user accounts

This is not really a question but more a request for a recommendation. So, I learned some front end (html, css and vanilla js) and some back end (nodejs + express) but now I would like to develop my own web app as I think i'll learn a lot while im doing it. My biggest question is on backend, im planning to use nodejs + express and a database (preferencially mysql) connected to it, as I told before i've already learned some back end but i only wrote a server file, I would like to know how this web app should be organized and how to connect the backend to a database. For example, developing a page where users can create and login with their own accounts and have their own data. Could you please give me some good resource where I could build something similar so I would learn it? Thanks a lot!
I used this tutorial and some other in the same website to make a webapp with nodeJS express.js and MySQL so here's the link, have fun !

How to implement login authentication to my Vue NodeJS restful API?

I am new to Stackoverflow so please forgive me if my question is bit difficult to understand. However, background of my problem is following.
I have created a NodeJS RESTful API based on the following tutorial -
https://www.codementor.io/olatundegaruba/nodejs-restful-apis-in-10-minutes-q0sgsfhbd
I have also created a Vue based frontend what I use to display data from database with GET request, POST new data to database and also PATCH/DELETE requests.
I need to create a login/registration system to secure my api endpoints so that the unauthorized person cannot see/delete/modify the content but I have no idea where to start or how to implement it.
My project frontend and backend repositories are visible on:
Frontend - https://github.com/umbluu/mufc-api-fe
Backend - https://github.com/umbluu/mufc-api-be
Can someone please point out some hints/tips how to proceed with my task?

Sending and Receiving data from a website to NodeJs application

basically I am trying to figure out a way to make a connection between my Discord Bot and my Website, I have some ideas in mind in using GET and POST methods but IDK how to use them in NodeJs nor in the website as I am still new to it, so what I want is to send a packet of data from the website after a submit button and the bot which is hosted locally with the website will receive this data and work with it.
Express is a commonly used web framework for Node that takes care of routing fairly easily. You can see their documentation here.
