I have currently set some basic alerts on Splunk my requirement is that, whenever these alerts get raised, I should receive them on Slack. I have an incoming webhook set up for my slack channel and an ordinary POST message from my server (where Splunk is running) successfully reaches my slack channel. However, when the Splunk alert is generated it does not get sent to my Slack Channel even though I have already set it up to send it to the required webhook. Any insights on where I might be going wrong?

If an envelope-level (vs account-level) Connect event created via the API with RequireAcknowledgement set to TRUE exhausts all retries, what happens?
In the support article, "Connect Failures and Retries", it mentions, "Administrators can choose to receive email notifications. You receive two proactive emails and another email at deactivation.". However, it seems like that applies to account-level Connect configurations, not envelope-level Connect events created through the API.
Basically, I'm trying to determine what happens after the 15-day mark, when all retries have been exhausted. Ideally, I'd receive an email notification.
After 15 days we will no longer auto-retry events and those specific events will need to be manually retried via the republish tool in the UI or with our new Republish API call.
Envelope-level Connect configurations are not being auto-disabled at this time so there will be no email notification.
So I'm tryin to get messages via messenger webhook. It is working well locally but when I try to send a message through messenger the callback(which is Heroku) isn't happening.
I was sending the messages with an account which had no role in the app and which was also a developer account which had Admin role.
I have subscribed to messages, messaging_postbacks, message_deliveries, message_reads, message_echoes, standby events for my webhook and added my page to it. I dont necessarily think im missing anything.
...a little help Captain??
Edit: I am now obtaining messages sent by clicking test button, but not when other developer accounts sent message through messenger
I push a lot (10Ks) of messages to Slack channel webhooks each month. It's not uncommon for the Slack API to return network errors, like ECONNRESET, meaning I don't know if the message was sent or not.
You can resend (POST) to the Slack chat.postMessage endpoint, but that might deliver the message twice.
Is there a way to idempotently send a Slack message once to a channel using Slack webhooks?
Slack Webhooks provide a very limited set of functionality.
Idempotency is not one of them.

I am trying to integrate Twilio WhatsApp API with my application, is it possible to send broadcast messages using Twilio.
Twilio developer evangelist here.
You can send outbound messages over WhatsApp using Twilio. There are some constraints though.
You need to get your users to explicitly opt in to receive WhatsApp messages
When you send a notification to a user, if it is more than 24 hours since the user sent you a message you can only send approved template messages.
Twilio Notify does not support WhatsApp, so to broadcast messages to a group of users you will need to make one API request per message using the regular Twilio messaging API.
Let me know if that helps at all.
I am developing MS teams bot.
I am creating a function to send a webhook automatically when I receive a message.
The development was carried out by referring to the URL below.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/platform/webhooks-and-connectors/how-to/add-outgoing-webhook
Like the URL above, teams support outgoing webbook.
However, the outgoing webbook must manually enter #mention in the chat window for the bot to work.
I want to tag #mention automatically when I receive a message
Is there a way to do a webhook?
Even if it's not an outgoing webbook,
The robot or ms flow can receive messages and send messages automatically.
I want to develop a robot.
You also need to provide that bot for use by multiple teams.
I'm not sure if you can automatically sync all messages in a channel. But you can use the graph API to constantly check the channel for new messages and pull them into your service.Graph API
You can subscribe to notifications for Microsoft Teams messages. This feature is available in beta on the Microsoft Graph API.
