Attaching debugger fails with RuntimeException: "Cannot find module by package name" - android-studio

This happens when I attempt to attach the Android Studio debugger to an Android process. On occasion, this succeeds. But most of the time, it fails with an IDE internal error in the Android NDK Support plugin, displaying a RuntimeException: "Cannot find module by package name".
When this is the first time this error has occurred in the current Android Studio session, a red window pops up with the following error message:
IDE internal error occurred. Click to see details and submit a bug
report.
The IDE Fatal Errors windows has the following message:
Exception in plugin Android NDK Support.
Below is the error message and stack trace:

I am using Android Studio v. 2.2.2, with Android NDK Support v. 1.0, on Windows 10 Pro (64-bit).

1.when debug dialog pop, pick Debugger Java instead of auto.
this works for me .
2.and the second choice,to delete Android Studio's config directory in .AndroidStudioXXX

Above way 1 works for me. Maybe Android studio try with dual mode by default, when you project also has C++ module.

I had the same problem after restore default settings (android studio bumblebee patch 2).
I had to uninstall my android studio, if you don't see uninstall.exe on your android studio folder, you can download older version of android studio, and paste uninstall.exe on your root folder, then just uninstall. Refer to this
And download Android Studio Arctic Fox (2020.3.1) Patch 4.
In my case, the problem is solved.

I can't guarantee this as a solution for you, but having installed using this method I have had no trouble.
Uninstall (by whatever method is appropriate for you)
Then reinstall with the terminal using
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:paolorotolo/android-studio
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install android-studio
I must stress that this adds and installs from an unofficial repository so it is up to you to decide if you are comfortable with installing from an unofficial source

I saw similar problem on StackOverflow. Please, do not install Java 9 before previous would be officially deprecated. This version is still in sdevelopment process and might be highly unstable
Unistall openJdk-9 and install Oracle-jdk-8 following this post:

Please help me out to fix this. Thanks in advance.
You need to give the path variable as follows:
**ANDROID_SDK_ROOT**
the path as
**%username%\AppData\Local\Android\sdk1**
This must help you!
If this doesn't work out, then you may explore Android-Environment Setup
I was facing a similar problem whe I was trying to install Cocos2d-js in my laptop for game development in cross-platforms. So, when I had to install Android SDK, I did the same thing and finally I succeeded in it.
Hope it helps!

Javafx error on Ubuntu while using netbeans

When trying to run a basic javafx application on ubuntu linux, I am seeing the following error. The error appears while using either the commandline or netbeans to run the application.

This exception is caused because maven is unable to find the native libraries on the classpath.
Netbeans
You can solve the problem by adding JVM argument inside the run profile.
-Djava.library.path=/home/venkat/Programs/javafx/2.1.0-beta/rt/lib/i386/
Image
Command line
If you face the same problem while trying to run the app on the commandline, the following exports should fix it.
export JAVAFX_HOME=/home/venkat/Programs/javafx/2.1.0-beta
export CLASSPATH=\$JAVAFX_HOME/rt/lib/jfxrt.jar
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/venkat/Programs/javafx/2.1.0-beta/rt/lib/i386/
The first two env variables above fix a classpath problem which is seen when javafx runtime cannot be found.
