Swiper on 9.01 fix pack 7 - xpages

I just installed fix-pack7 and discoverd that my swiper plug-in was gone
Tried to reinstall, but message says "No acceptable features were found.." when installing from update site
Anyone experience the same ?

Can you check if the feature is still installed, but disabled? Go to:
File-> Application -> Application Management
and then try to find the Swiper Feature in that list. See if it has a 'disabled' icon, and if so, enabled the feature again.
It sounds like it would not suggest to install the feature because it thinks that it already has the feature installed (albeit disabled).
I have heard in previous upgrades, that some installed features become disabled after upgrade.
If this is not the case then please let me know. And I will look into it further.
I have not upgraded to FP7 yet, but if anyone reading this has upgraded to FP7 and has Swiper working fine please add a comment or let me know.

SpringSource Toolsuite: Huge icons after todays update

im running a linux box with gtk3 and was re-installing my STS today.
I was choosing the x64 version based on eclipse 4.6 and everything went fine after starting the new installed STS version.
Then i decided to check for updates and was installing the suggested packages (i didnt install any own custom packages/plugins yet).
After the restart the GUI seems to be broken. Please see the Screenhot: http://imgur.com/0lAtByT
Im working already since some years with STS on Linux but never found this strange behavior. Anyone a idea what could fix this problem?
Try:
-Dswt.enable.autoScale=false
when starting STS.

AndroidStudio update destroyed everything and I need help as to which way I should rebuild (details of fiasco within)

After this huge mess from one AndroidStudio update, am cleaning everything and starting from scratch.
I'd like to ask if anyone knows if I should go with specific versions of Java.
But first my headache, although I just cleaned my computer of AndroidStudio.
I have Win 10 64 bit
HAD AndroidStudio 1.51 (it said it was JRE:1.7.0_79-b15 amd64)
After the update I had a "Unsupported major.minor version 52.0" error
Following some posts I upgraded the Java on my machine.
First "1.8.0_74" but AndroidStudio couldn't find the JDK directory, so I installed "1.8.0_73" and AndroidStudio found the JDK directory. But then I started getting rendering errors but with Rendering Problems Exception raised during
rendering: com.android.ide.common.rendering.api.LayoutlibCallback.getXmlFileParser(Ljava/lang/String;)Lorg/xmlpull/v1/XmlPullParser;
Anyway, that's it. This has become such a tragedy that I would rather start from scratch, but if anyone could point me as to the proper (steps) of which way I should go, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks ahead,
Sergio
I met this issue when I updated the api android 23 N (preview). In xml editor, change the Api to render into Api 23 android 6.0 and Autimatically Pick best. This would solve the problem.

Yes.. i also faced same problem,I have resolved with changing the version to api 23.generally it will take best/latest version ,in my case its set to N preview.

Can't install Azure SDK 2.7.1

When I try to install the Azure SDK 2.7.1, it says the the web development feature must be turned on. Does anyone know where it is or how it can be turned on. The dialog said use VS2015 help, but there is no reference for it.
Thanks up front ....
It's likely that you unselected the Web development tools when you installed VS. Changing this is easy: in Control Panel, launch the VS installer from Programs and Features (it might say uninstall but that just fine). You'll be able to select the Web development components.

How to completely remove dottrace

Currently I have licenses for the following JetBrains products:
ReSharper 8.2.0.2160
Dotcover 2.7.1.238
I recently needed to use Dottrace, so installed the latest version from the JetBrains website. However I found this is incompatible with the other, earlier products, so uninstalled it.
Except it didn't uninstall properly. I still see dottrace menus, which still appear to function, and ReSharper is still broken. I have tried completely uninstalling and then re-installing Visual Studio (together with resharper and dotcover), yet this has still not improved anything. I still see Dottrace menus and ReSharper is still broken.
I've tried the JetBrains support forums (https://devnet.jetbrains.com/message/5536694#5536694), but they have not been helpful. Has anyone here experienced a similar issue, or have ideas as to how it can be resolved?
I'm starting to get desperate. Is there any way I can fix my development environment short of completely re-installing windows?
The problem was solved by JetBrains support. In case anyone else has the same issue, all you need to do to solve it, is to delete the directory:
C:\Users[user_name]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio[version_number]\Extensions\JetBrains

Infragistics CodedUI extension for vs2012

Since CodedUI does not support Infragistics winforms by default, a hotfix has to be installed which imports a specific assembly enabling codedUI to work with infragistics controls. This hotfix works with vs2010 pretty fine, but not actually with vs2012. Their site says that this hotfix should work with vs2012 but I just can't install this hotfix because of a compatibility issue. When I try to install it, this is the error message I get:
KB2696646 does not apply, or is blocked by another condition on your computer. Please see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=225649 for more details.
Is there a way to get the assembly without installing this hotfix?
Or could someone just share it? This is the one I need: Infragistics4.Win.CodedUITest.UIA.VS11.v12.2.dl
Thanks
Please take a look at : http://www.infragistics.com/community/forums/p/79850/402667.aspx#402667 for more details. Also there you could find mentioned assembly.
